I drove the truck for 20 miles and I was charged for 30 miles. I used two bars of fuel on a 10’ truck and I was charged $23.04 plus tax. Quite different experience from what I knew from U-Haul.

Instead of just throwing the key at the customer, the staff must explain how to use the car. Staff have to check together costumer if the car is clean or not.

Good experience at this location. It was quick and easy to deal with the friendly lady at the front desk. The 10' truck that I rented was clean and well maintained. Better than other Uhaul locations that I've used in the past.

The trailer we rented had not been dropped off before 9:00 which is when we where to pick it up. We where delayed by an hour. The Uhaul representive at the location was excellent as she tried to call the person and advised them that they where late bringing it back. She was very customer focused. I am also not sure why when we made the reservation it was bumped from a Newmarket location to Richmond hill. It should give you a choice before completing the reservation which I did on line. This should be improved. The location was also under renovation so difficult to rate the location. The excellent rating refers to the Uhaul representative customer service.

Where do I start....first of all this location was not my pick-up location. I am in Markham and the Bullock Drive location was 5 minutes away. I received the e-mail from U-Haul the morning I was to pick up my rental at 7:50am saying the pick up location was moved to Richmond Hill and ready at 4pm (I had arranged for a 10am pickup) . I can understand that it's a busy time of year with students moving to University, etc. but the inconvenience caused by not letting your customers know one to two days in advance did NOT happen here and we were notified the day of! Not only does it totally throw your moving day plans into a tail spin but it affects the people you have arranged to help you move. I get it if it was only by a couple of hours delayed but it was the entire day. I find that really inconsiderate of your customer service. Melissa at the Richmond Hill location was understanding but I know she was dealing with a situation she had no control over.

Great transaction. There was only one customer service person in the front office when I arrived, and I was third in line. But she was extremely efficient and got all of us through the paperwork quickly. The owner got the trailer hitched up in no time. Trailer worked no problem.

The 12x7 trailer is very heavy and I heart my back as I was lifting the trailer to put it on my winch. U-Hall should come up with a plan to lift the heavy trailers easier.
