They had a windshield changed and broken pieces of glass were all over in the cabin and on the dashboard, showed to manager at drop off location in Calgary and they said I will get $25 back to my credit card but never received.Wajahat A.

When we arrived at J&B Ackland Auto Service, nobody was there. Finally, after an hour of waiting, the grandson of the owner showed up and told us he would call his grandfather. The owner tried to tell me I had not paid which was not true at all, and was trying to get me to pay another 2000$ even though I had paid via u-haul online. The actual truck was very dirty, smelled like a urinal cake, and was obviously not sanitized whatsoever. I would rather walk than have to deal with these people ever again. I would never recommend this location to anybody. Wasted my time.Nathan O.

The guy was very nice and apologetic for the computer issues. Had to call Uhaul to get the rental to go through. It took 45 minutes to get the rental trailer. Initially Uhaul scheduled me to pick up a trailer in Bruno, Sask. That was unacceptable as it was 90 km from where i needed it.Cliff R.

Mr.Ackland was most helpful and very kind. What Uhaul can do in the future, is give a bigger discount for the customer who drives 2 hours one way to pick up the equipment that was ordered 4 weeks prior. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, sure a total of $102 was discounted, but my gas and time were more than $102...A total of 4 hour drive time and 1.5 hours on the phone with Uhaul at that location was a huge waste of my time and set my packing 6 hours behind. Not impressed. The ratchets for the tires have never been oiled and were extremely hard to use, so please ensure all ratchets are lubricated.Sharon V.

The booking was changed by Uhaul representative to drop off at Craik,SK without communication to me or the pickup location. After picking up vehicle, I was phoned within two hours to find out when I was dropping truck in Moose Jaw. Dropping Truck in Craik was not convenient for me and caused me to drive almost two hours farther on an already very tiring day. Adding this confusion on the part of Uhaul was extra frustration.Robert S.

Upon returning the rental van to this location, an extra mileage charge was placed on my credit card without contacting me. I was informed of the extra charge by my daughter who dropped off the van at this location. They confirmed the information in the computer stated a limited amount for mileage, which was less than the distance to the destination so obviously there was an error. So once I contacted the HO to report this extra charge, I was told there was an error and my cc would be credited.RICHELLE K.
The trailer was left in a snow bank and not ready for me to pick it up although I had made reservation on line. When I got home I realised a tail light was missing and the loading door was stocked. I finally got it open. It was disappointing. The people in Regina fixed the light and add lubricant to the door so it would work a bit better. This was not the experience I had with other Uhaul in the past.Richard T.
I only would recommend because they had the only stock in SK of the 6x12 trailer. The staff was too old to know how to use a computer. His store is dirty and uninviting. He was actually too old to help me lift the trailer. He made a rude comment about my girlfriend whom he'd never met.LEVI D.
Just getting the equipment rental was almost painful. I was back and forth with people on whether or not the equipment was available or available in the locations I needed. It didn't leave me with confidence knowing something was actually booked. When I got to the pickup location in Craik, the man didn't really know how to operate his laptop, let alone the software. The whole payment process took forever, I almost walked out. The truck was covered in snow when we got it and the back of the trailer was a mess with cardboard, paper and other garbage all over it. Overall it was not a good experience and I won't likely use uHaul again.TREENA H.

The person I did business with did not know the system very well I figured out and walked him through many parts. He connected the trailer to my vehicle, it was not done properly, when I tried to load the car on the trailer, the trailer came off the hitch and hurt the rim of my spare tire and broke off the valve stem. If it had some how stayed on I can't imagine the damage it would cause coming off which the car on it.Kevin V.

This was the third location that i had to go to for my reserved vehicle. it was 90 miles from my original pick up location. it cost me my personal vehicle 180 miles extra and 4hrs of my time and the extra fuel for the truck for the 90 miles. They did not charge me for the extra miles (wow). the problem occurred with my first location where the truck that was supposed to be there wasn't because someone forgot to tell them that the people that had it were given another day. We were then told to go to another location within the city and waited there until someone called to say that truck was in for repairs and not road worthy. I was told that there was a truck available 90 miles away. What choice did I have. I drove in the night before from 300 miles away to get the truck and only had the weekend. Even though this was a nightmare for us the dealers were friendly and tried their best to resolve this. The company gave me a small discount but those extra costs for our fuel were not covered. It became a late night but we finally made it to our destination.Dennis K.
Please improve uhaul's web site billing site. This poor agent spent close to 2 hours on the phone trying to put the billing through. This two hours was time wssted by both him and me. I had to wsit the two hours while he desperately tried ti put through the billing and reservation. He said the site was not user friendly, and he had never haf any training on how to use it. when trailer was hooked up he did not check the hitch and the trailer jumped off the ball at 90 km luckily I could pull onto the shoulder and the chains held. There was no damage to the truck or trailer. I think that checking everything twice should be standard no mater who picks up the trailer. It also took more than 1 hour to do the rental contract and I had to drive 1.5 hours one way to pick up the trailer.ED S.
