After being charged for 2 days for using a trailer for 4 hours I got charged $60 and overdrafted $29 coming to a total of $90 to borrow a trailer for 4 hours. cost me $22.50 an hour to borrow one of your trailers U-Haul never again will I use your service from now on I will pay a friend or a stranger twice as much to use them and their trailer as I will never use you again in the future it's ridiculous my account is now overdrawn I have zero money and I owe a $29 overdraft fee because somebody couldn't do their f****** job right. When I was charged I was charged $30 while I was standing there I returned the trailer that night around 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. and get charged for 48 hours when I had it for three or four tops. ignorance and ripping people off is not a way to do business you have lost mine and anybody I ever hear about going to rent a U-Haul trailer I'm going to talk them out of it thank you for ruining my weekend and stealing my moneyJERRY DON B.

I have used this location in the past and had no issues. This experience was below average and not sure who really was at fault. I booked the rental on line 28654689. I called The local pickup two days before flying into town to confirm and check closing time was 7. Was told the time and location confirmed confirmation with my name. I had Delayed flights, ended up arrive at 6-6:15 to pick up. They were open until 7. Location could not find my order, seemed bothered that it was late, had issues with the drivers license upload , end up doing a new order because he could not find my order, Tried to tell me my order was for Sept 25... He said he needed an end location, was told could not use the uhaul storage address in Alanta Mine, used my work address in L'Anse instead. I told him I need to return to Atlanta Marine, he said I could return anywhere. Yard guy was great and friendly getting me set up in the rain, counter guy comes out and seemed to be in a rush to get closed up, asked what was taking so long.. so I already had a bad day with the airline, felt as if this location was more frustrated with it being almost closing time, uhaul technology not working, that it was raining, trying to close, just over all not the most pleasant of customer service. We all have had days, but this process was just not customer focused...? As I fished paying I realized it was 20 more then when I booked online, at this point I felt as if it would just be a big hassle to complain to them, I had no other opinions at this late time so I just paid what I was told. Upon return in Alanta mine realized it was listed as a L'Anse return location... This added to my unsatisfying experience with this pick up location.CHARLES JAMES V.

We needed a UHaul very last minute because we made the mistake of renting a truck from another company that was too small for our move. The area rep was able to locate a bigger truck at this location, and saved the day. The truck was nice and the pickup process went very smoothly. The whole U-Haul experience was the most difficult, unorganized, and least customer oriented operation that I have ever continued through fruition without deliberately doing business elsewhere. Until I met the folks at J.B. Customs. Andy worked diligently through the U-Haul internet cluster.. I'm an elder senior citizen may I and CITIZEN! I was treated by your reservation clerk and a rep at Self Serve Lumber like I was no more than an inconvenient nuisance. I remember when U Haul centers would give some paperwork to fill out and checked I.D., took my money and was a smooth, professional business procedure and I drove off in a truck, or trailer and completed the task at hand. It was made more difficult than the act of moving households. You must somehow tighten up your ship. The right person with the right business ethic would run your operation out of business...fast.ROBERT R.

The reservation was exceedingly inept. I reserved and confirmed a 6' by 12' open trailer with a ramp to go one way. The location I was told I could get it at was agreeable and on my way. When I arrived at the location to pick up the open trailer there was none at that location. The location does not have any open trailers with ramps. So I had to waste more of my time to call and fix the big mistake that uhaul made. The only trailer I was then allowed to use to go one way was a 5' by 9' open trailer with a ramp. This however I could have picked up at home and then consequently returned to the same place. Saving me over $100.00. But as it turned out, since I had already left home I could not do this and had to go to another location to pick it up and drop it off at home. I am very disatisfied with the service I received with uhaul and will not use your service again.Kashamarie M.
