This is a gas station that does uhaul as a sideline. the man in charge did not seem familiar with the software and simply said u-haul's site was slow. He was surly and unpleasant, did not apologize for my wait of more than half an hour to get my vehicle. I can't see why the u-haul system should be so much more cumbersome than the ones for renting cars from Hertz or Budget.

The problem was not so much the location as the process. The website was slow and problematic to use. I never got email to give my license info so the owner had to try to do it manually. Process took about 3x as long as it should have. Having a person just manually process me in would have been much faster than the electronic check-in. I won’t use this location again. I will go to an actual U-haul location or use a different company completely. The van itself was fine.

The pick up place was fine and the woman was very helpful.. my problem was with the return app ( could not detect location) and the online check in didn’t work.. customer service was helpful however,

The whole experience of going to a gas station to rent a U-Haul vehicle is weird. it all felt off the grid and not above board. the cell service is weak (having internet access would be key), which slows down every aspect of the process lack of information by the people at the gas station doesn't help either.
