Firstly The location that I originally reserved at did not have the vehicle. I happen to see another location a couple businesses down. I reserve the truck immediately and went about my way to do my move. In hindsight I did not match the mileage out to the document provided. My move was estimated at 40 miles based on two trips from my current location 11745 Broadway St. to my new Home at 19327 Lake Ridge Dr., Manville, TX. The distance one-way is roughly 8 miles. The distance from the location to my current address approximately 3 miles. I made two trips which could be estimated at 32 miles adding another 7 miles for the trip to and from the rental location. Location claims I did 90 miles I did not it was not even possible. Very disappointing.Craig T.

I ordered 24 moving blankets. This location only has 16. The Space City employee was helpful in trying to find an additional location for me to pickup blankets. However, the location that I went to was closed.Daniel F.
Uhaul rep was not on site for appointment upon arrival. Very unprofessional office , unorganized, and poor representation of uhaul brand. No assistance getting the trailer hooked up to the vehicle before leaving the lot. First I requested the biggest truck for $19.99 during phone reservation with uhaul. This was my first time renting by phone. Not knowing the difference (in size connotation being referenced) until I arrived for pick up that it was NOT the long truck I usually get when moving. But I already had people waiting to help me and I was short for time so I took it. The location closest to my house only have a 10 footer and it did not have the thing used to roll the furniture on the truck with the dolly. Therefore, all items had to be manually lifted by hand. Also my refrigerator (side by side) would not stand upright in the truck and had to be laid down. This caused me to make 4 trips over a 3 days (wed-Friday) to the tune of $220.00. They charged me a 4th day (claiming I went beyond my original date without requesting an extension for use). Mind you I call everyday around 4pm to say I needed the truck a little longer. The worst part is they charged me for the fourth day but called me before my 4pm cut off time telling me they needed the truck back because they have another rental! They called at 11:30am and wanted the truck back for 12 noon! I never had a bad experience with uhaul rental until this week but going forward I will just show up instead of making a phone reservation!Shay R.
It's a shady used car lot and they didn't even know how to rent out equipment properly. They had me wait for what seemed like forever just to figure how to get uhaul equipment rented out. They were the only place close to me that had the small cargo trailer I needed so I had no choice but to go here. I would have rather had a thousand root canals than to have to go here again.JOSH C.

I found the location hard to find but that was partially because I was looking for the U-Haul trailers which were behind the office trailer and not "Space City Auto Center", mainly because the details were not in the text message. Staff was courteous, helpful and verified lights and connection. The trailer itself had one small issue with the hand grip which was separating from the nut but was still able to secure trailer to ball hitch. Reported it to U-Haul of North Central.Richard P.

I had a nightmare of a time renting this uhaul truck and then the systems went down which delayed me picking up my furniture. By the time I made it there they wouldn't allow me to pick up. I was charged more than quoted the truck smells of smoke. My son had to ride in who is four I was at the location for two hours yesterday and the movers eventually got fed up from waiting so long so they asked for payment up front and didn't even move anything because your company systems being down made me miss my pick up and I still didn't get the miles and price quoted to me I'm in la marque and my drop off is in league city doesn't make sense at all!!! Somewhere in the reservation screen online you need post how many MPG the trucks get. We rented a 17ft truck and it got 8 MPG, didnt know we would have to put $40 in gas after driving 125 miles.Genelle A.
The location was an automotive gas and service station/convenience store. The person behind the counter was handling gas customers, convenience store customers and had ear buds in his ear talking/singing while working. It was definitely lacking on the customer service end.KATHY L.

As I was making the reservation, the clerk would wait on other customers at the cash register. Then as he came back to me, he had forgot all of the information so it needed repeated. After the reservation, the truck was in good condition and clean (only positive of this experience.DONALD S.
I reserved a truck at the Middletown location, but when I went to pick it up, I was told I had to go here, which was 16 miles extra on my rental. This is a convenience store, and I literally waited 20 minutes to get processed, as the owner/clerk would work on my paperwork on the pc, then everytime a customer would come up, stop to ring them up and make me wait. It was ridiculous. I will not rent from there again. If I knew that would bethe cae, there are several convenience stores that rent close to me. Horrible experience.CHRIS M.

Our overall experience with Uhaul was very disappointing and in the future we will go with Budget. We made our reservation online, but received a call the night before our move that there was a limited amount of trucks available and we would receive a call in the morning with our pickup location. We never received a call and so I called Thursday at 10:30am and I was told we would have to drive to Franklin, OH (25 miles away) to pick up our truck. I called the Franklin Uhaul to confirm our truck was there. When we got to the marathon station to pick up our truck the Uhaul Rep, who could barely speak English, was unable to find our reservation. I had to call the Regional Rep, again, to confirm our reservation. Finally the Uhaul Rep found our reservation but did not have a furniture dolly or the 12 furniture pads we reserved. The check out process took at least an hour because of the Uhaul Rep's lack of familiarity with the system. We didn't get back to our house until after noon and we had scheduled movers coming. The overall pickup was disorganized, time consuming, and lacked customer service. The truck itself ran poorly and vibrated severely at speeds above 50mph. Our trip took longer than expected because we didn't feel safe at higher speeds.kate S.
Horrible experience! Its not an actual U-haul facility like you might think: its a Marathon/White Castle station that happens to have one U-haul truck...This business is more interested in running their actual gas station than helping anyone trying to rent a U-haul. They took 40+ minutes to get us out of there, and waited on at least 15 other customers while in the process of trying to figure out how the U-haul computer worked. Then they did not help us put the trailer onto the hitch or even safety inspect everything before we left! Some nice guy at a stop light had to tell us the trailer brake lights didnt seem to be working because of a hook up problem!! Do yourself a favor and find another U-haul location!James S.

The guy knew nothing, I was there for 30+ minutes while he figured out how to take off the late charge that wasnt supposed to be there. He also helped 12 other customers in between and seemed surprised when I needed his help to lift the trailer off the hitch.JOHN J.
