This part was ok. he was just slow in checking it in because of the change in equipment and the info in the computer showed we drove over 20k+ miles and he had to verify that was wrong but again, that falls on the wrong info listed to start.

The online check in process was a nightmare. I could not sign in, when I tried to follow the email link to check in, the website would tell me they didnt recognize my email. How is that possible??? The website could not bring up my account, then it said it couldn't find my reservation. I went to the first location and that location was closed. Then I was on the phone with customer service for 55 minutes trying to check in and get the keys. Then we couldnt get the confirmation phone call! The app/system has lots of glitches and i had to reset my passwotd 6 times to finally open my account. The issue was so bad i had less time to use my truck. I reserved it for 4 hours and only got 3. That made me have to keep it late. The customer service person was so awesome she said dhe was going to give me a discount on this rental. She said she would take 50 dollars off but I was charged anyway. What happened? The truck smelled like body odor. Even though I did not actually go inside the location, the overall experience was unacceptable.

Let customers know you are going to call their alternate contact. Not everyone wants a phone call at 8:00 am on a Saturday. Also most people won't answer a number they don't know if they aren't already expecting a call.

The uhaul I rented was leaking rainwater badly. In mom's attic section all the boxes got wet. The vehicle needs repaired.

I was told when I received the truck that the gas tank was full and would have to return it full. I drove the truck 4.5 miles during my move and put in 7 gallons of gas when I returned it. You tell me if the gas tank was full when I received it?!?! There's no way possible I used 7 gallons of gas in the 4.5 miles that I drove it.

First time renting a U Haul and had a few issues. My issues did not concern u haul or or the truck, it was the customer service. Did not receive any help with the truck especially with it being my first time. I was also charged extra for gas even though it was returned exactly where I received it. Although this was the issue I spoke with the manager and he not only resolved the issue but he went above and beyond. Very happy with this service and will return and recommend U haul (just not this location)

Had a great experience but the drivers seat belt didn't work properly, the key would not turn the ignition without several tries to turn, the back pull down door got stuck just before it go to the bottom and the hinge lock on the back didn't work properly. I told the representative and he noted it for a work order.

Make sure that the customer knows that you will charge a 50 dollar fee for putting a gallon of gas in when you bring it back and not just 4 dollars per gallon like you stated.

The online check in is ridiculous and a waste of the consumers time. Our rental was supposed to be 1 way, and we had to bring it back to the rental location that only added 55 miles, cost, and a waste of our time. The truck had a dolly that we did not request and that just took up valuable sq ft. We will be renting from Penske from now on as we never have to self check in and out..or take pictures for contractual points. We pay for a service and got in return 1) poor equipment. 2) high cost 3) poor customer service 4) too much wasted time 5) this is the last time paying for back service from uhaul

Long story make appointment with Jade and was called told they did not have my rental drove 10 miles from that location 20 mi round trip to Preston I got there was told they did not have my rental and at my appointment only secured an appointment to come in not that it would reserve the vehicle I requested I was in told I could have a vehicle cuz they did have one but then I would have to have it returned in 4 hours in order to use it because it was rented after me so I did not get the rental chose I called the customer service line they sent me back to J&M it had my rental all the while really felt like a complete run around and then appointment with you was completely irrelevant because you didn't hold a vehicle for me anyway hope Never to be in a position to have to rent from you ever again it was a complete hassle start to finish

The person who I rented the Uhal from was suppose to come outside and verify the gas mileage and look the truck over before I used it.Which NONE of those things were done So in turn the gas mileage was WRONG from what I was told at pick up time.and the dolly I paid for WAS NOT in the truck.So in turn make my move be a day longer than I planned for Which was just added stess that was uncalled for.SO I WILL rent for this Uhal place EVER again.

Overall my service was exactly what i needed to do what i needed to get done. The uhaul was in great condition, well maintained and clean. The prices are fair and the amount of time alotted for use is what i would expect for the cost. If you ever need to move some furniture or any other oversize appliance i recommend this uhaul location!

When I went to refuel the gas was spilling onto the pavement. There was something wrong with the intake. I couldn't refill to proper level. As a result I received a charge for refilling.

I asked for six moving pads and a utility dolly which I never used and returned, still secured via plastic strapping as I received it. I was charged, however, on my agreement. Perhaps a full refund is not in order but it would seem something should be rebated back to the customer.

The location itself actually had a truck which worked well enough with a working 24/7 box. They didn't clean the used ash tray in the non-smoking truck, but otherwise they did their jobs. Honestly, though, the atrocious customer service I received from U-haul and the extra money it cost me means I won't likely use the service again.

Location was fine. The fact that I had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to this location and pay for the extra miles I put on the truck is not okay. I I reserved a 20' truck about 10 days ago. From the “actual” U-Haul shop on Preston highway. Upon my arrival. I was told that they didn't have a 20' truck to give me. Nor did they have ANYTHING to give me. Non apoligetic. The man gets on the phone to find me a 20' truck. Just like the one that I had reserved the prior week. The man then tells me he has found me a 26' foot truck off Dixie Highway. Upon arrival to the JM auto shop, I am told there is no 26' or 20' truck on the lot. Already over an hour behind and 35 minutes away from where I have 5-6 friend and family members waiting at the location to help me move. I just told the lady. I will take whatever it is that she has. Which is a 15' truck. So instead of only needing to make one trip. From my old home to my new home. I had to make the extra trip back and forth. Then back out to Dixie Highway. Which of course you guys charge by the mile and require the customer to refill the gas they use.

First of all, the lady at the front counter should probably ask do I want to purchase safe move insurance before actually putting it on there which cost an extra $14.00. Also, the truck wasn't in the best shape, mirror broken and everything. We did a one way trip so I can't imagine how it cost so much then on top of it I was charged for gas after I put the tank back where it should have been. Will never use your service again. Thanks!!
