The folks were friendly enough but it was very busy and only one guy working at the time we went to pick up our pre-ordered truck. We didn't get access to the truck for almost 30 minutes, which cut into our rental time. Also, we had preordered blankets but they weren't in the truck when we took possession.BARBARA P.

I ordered a van and when I went to pick up the van at Johnson's i was told it was stolen and had to upgrade to a larger uhaul-box truck. Was the van really stolen? I don't believe it was. On top of which, the two clerks must not have been aware of the city mandate of wearing mask during this deadly pandemic, they did not- putting me at risk of COVID and violating city of Fayetteville mandate. So No, I would not recommend this location to anyone.IRMA S.

No one there wears a mask. On the next day I was charged additionally $3.39 (this additional amount was never shown on my receipt) even after I gave them a gas station receipt showing that I put 1 gallon of gas for the total of 11 miles I drove their van (it was showing full even before I put more gas in the tank, just to be honest on my side of the contract).SVETOSLAV S.

The van was not clean on the outside, though the inside was OK. The windshield was also covered in bugs and there was no windshield wiper fluid It was also not clear if the insides were sanitized for the previous user and it did not occur to me until after giving it for a little whileGreg M.

Had a reservation for Aug 1 for 8:00am for a 15 ft and dolly. They notified me on July 30 that I could pick up at 4:00 pm on Aug 1 and return at 4:00AM on Aug 2. Who picks up a moving truck at 4:00 pm to return 12 hours later at 4:00 am? I told them that was not going to work so they found a truck for the day before, which was hugely inconvenient. They told me they had lots of dollies. Picked up truck, which was a piece of garbage. The breaks were spongy and the door latch would get stuck under the truck frame when you opened it to the top. Then they had NO dollies and we had to track on down to the Uhaul across town. Then when we returned the truck they wanted to know why we were not returning a dolly. Never again will I use U-Haul. Why take a reservation if you are not going to honor it.John H.

booked the truck from a different location went to that location i got on the app but was told the district manager changed it, it did not get any calls or text messages. got a not so nice phone call from the new location while i was in my way to be there within 5 minutes or my order would be cancelled. got there and it took for ever and despite that our state requires to wear a mask no one working at that location did.Jesper K.

They told me that gas was half full but it wasn't and they didn't change the paper work. The a/c didn't work so they put me in a different, that was great. Then the same issue with the gas again in this truck. The paper work said half but when I got out to the truck it was just above 1/4 tank.Richard E.
This location was not clean or inviting. The truck inside was DIRTY and everything had not been wiped downed or cleaned. With Covid this should be done automatically. The employees were slow and the process took 30 mins.Curtis C.

Fuel was under half a tank but, they put it in at half full tank. We ended up having to rent a bigger truck than needed because they did not have enough trucks. This led us to have to rent the truck extra days because instead of seperating my roommates and my stuff, we had to all load it together to balance load. We also had to rent a truck that was small enough to fit down one the new house's driveway and cross load because the 20 foot truck was too big. When we could not get truck back on time, the business stalker called myself and all my contacts over and over again. After stating that we needed a few more days, they still had a balance when we returned truck, even though it was paid on credit card. They were nice about the returning the truck but, we had to wait for 20 minutes.kimberly S.
