My pick up location and date was not correct from what was stated on my original order. This was not the fault of Jordan's auto glass. However when I did show up the trailer was not ready. When I got home to start packing my stuff, the trailer was dirty and I had to clean it. That was on me as I should of done and inspection of the inside but I was pressed for timeCRAIG JOHN C.

Ensure the vehicle isn't an hour and half away even though there are several agents 10 minutes away with lots of trucks. Make sure the last person cleans the garbage out, doesn't smoke in the truck and doesn't leave mud all over the floorsWENDY HEATHER K.

Not a easy place to contact by phone. Took a while, more often then not, the fax machine would cut in, but finally made contact on morning the truck was to be returned.Morgans F.

Maybe don't release equipment that might fall apart when removing a vehicle from the trailer. The metal catch that keeps the track in place during transport is also used to keep the track in place during loading/offloading, and very nearly caused damage to my car. It would have if I had unloaded on my own at any point, fortunately I did so at the drop-off U-Haul location and someone was available to assist me while I held onto the brake to prevent damage.Rodney J W.

Hi, This was my 1st UHAUL experience. I used the online booking website and used the mobile pickup service. I used the pickup service at a location near where I was picking up items for moving. The location was: Jordan's Auto Glass 64 Columbus Dr Carbonear, NL A1Y1A4 I now realize that this is satellite pickup location. When I arrived the business was closed, I don't know if this was due to Covid restrictions, I was there before closing time. I used the mobile pick up service and the steps were good until I got to the KEYCODE option on my phone for the keys. There were no instructions for getting the keys. I started to panic, how do I get keys now? At this time, an employee of Jordan's Auto Glass just happened to stop by the business. I don't know why he came but he saw me so I asked him did he know where the keys were. He said he put them under the seat, but they weren't there. Then he realized he had put keys for a van in place, not for the 26 ft truck I rented. He went and got the keys for me so that was lucky for me. Otherwise I would not have been able to move my mother's belongings to the 2nd location. Also, when I looked in the back expecting to see furniture dolly, utility dolly and furniture pads, there was only the big dolly with the strap. I asked the guy if they had them, he said they don't supply those things. I think it would be good for your website NOT to ask to book items which CAN'T be supplied if my pickup location is a satellite service. I can't imagine how frustrated someone would be if they booked 30 boxes which they NEEDED for the move. Your chat service has refunded me the $20 charge for the items which weren't available. This was a good experience and smooth transaction. The dropoff in St. John's went smoothly although I think you should have a CLEARER policy about not returning extra boxes during the covid period. That was not explicitly told to me when I happened to stop by the St. John's location to get some boxes on my own. The truck itself was fine, no issues with power/speed/handling.Trevor C.

You need a new dealer out in Carbonear. Jordon is downright rude and only for the fact I really needed a truck, I would have told him where to stick it. He had nerve enough to say, after not having my reservation there, that he had two trucks (smaller and bigger) amd to hurry up and make up my mind because he had s&$@ to do out back with his other business and was too busy to deal with us. This being said, someone walked in off the road and he rented them the smaller one without even ensuring that I actually got a truck. Very unprofessional and rude. I will never go back to this location and I strongly urge others not to go there.Kayla H.

I Rented a 26 Foot truck from Jordin's auto glass location, Carbonear NL. On the 16 of January 2020. I'm sure you all know about the huge storm we had! The truck was stuck in my driveway and would not move as the tires were bald! I called U-haul and asked me to take pictures of the the truck and send it to them. They got back to me on the 22nd of January and said there was not a towing company would touch it as the roads were to bad and narrow. They then told me that i would not be billed for the truck becuase of the storm and road conditions. I then told them that i needed this truck to get the rest of my belongings as i had to make the second trip. so they rented a 15 foot truck to me, to be picked up at the same location as first on the 24th of January 2020. at 4:45 pm, when we showed up the store was not opened,, the keys were left in the ignition, fuel was below "E" and bearly made it to the gas station!, we had to get hot water and poor over the back door to get it open, (took us 30 min to get it open) When we did it was full of snow, we then had to clear that out! (very un-acceptable ). As well no written contract. So we load it up bring our belongings to our new place , and sure and behold this truck is stuck spinning tires and not moving as well, they we more bald then the first truck. We called about this and was told that when they get a chance they will get them towed out. After telling us that we would not be charged for these days , we got a bill for over 1000.00 , Not happy and will not use uhaul again! There trucks are form the us (down south) But if they want to rent them up north then they should have winter tires, not all summer steer tires all around! Now they are trying to charge us with the towing fee! (NOTE) " our car and other trucks have no problem accessing our driveway.Heather M.

They were more focused on their glass business than uhaul customers. This trailer came off the hitch causing the tongue to go under the trailer than the trailer was pushing the truck. We almost went over an embankment, good thing he was an experienced driver or we would not be here.Gary O.

Drop off was a Sat. Business was closed. Key drop box was busted open and I couldn't leave the key. I tracked down family member of business owner and dropped the key off. Not good.Judy M.
No one showed us the van or gave us a quick review of the vehicle and where light/wiper switches were (like Budget does) when you rent a vehicle. Other than that all was good. Vehicle was easy to drive and comfortably, mirrors were easy to useGerard H.

U-Haul trailer wasn't ready for the booked time, despite it being there for several days in advance. I get it, shit happens. But a phone call in advance would have been nice. The plug for the trailer lights was missing, so I was told to come back in an hour or two so they can fix it. Finally when I came back and the trailer was "ready to go", the newly spliced together plug wasn't long enough to reach my truck, so I had to drive across the island with no lights working on the trailer.Jeff H.

As the same with the pick-up location, there was problems with the u-haul software/machinery. The system was causing the personnel problems. The took a long time, and a phone call, to be rectified. I think u-haul needs to look into upgrading their system.Randy B.
