My comment here has nothing to do with the Joywill facility specifically, but it took more than an hour of driving to various locations to find an actual working U-haul facility to drop our truck off at. Several marked on both Google and U-haul did not exist or were, for some reason, not accepting returns. One facility that I had used before and seemed like a dedicated U-Haul storage and truck rental place did not even appear on searches. This is a huge and frustrating waste of time.ERIC L.
Vendor was sexist, wouldn't answer my questions for transfer of reservations and payment. Took multiple people in front of my on checkout line. SCAM!!!! The woman behind the counter did not know what she was doing. She would not tell me the charges, very basic 4 hour rental, less than 25 miles driven, returned with more gas than we left with and a hand truck. She told me I would receive a receipt in 25 minutes by Email. I never got one. I was over charged. I called the business to ask what the charges are for a screening recording answers. I left my name, my call was never taken. I tried repeatedly, never got thru. I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF. SCAM..... STAY AWAYRonald Z.
When I went to get my truck the lady in the gas station was not wearing a mask and told me to tell my gf to leave the building, then when I went to get my truck there was a van in front of it and the lady made me move the van to get my truck. And when I returned the truck the man who took my keys was also not wearing a mask. This is the first and last time I will be renting a truck from uhaulRICARDO L.

Social distancing and mask wearing not enforced, small office with no ventilation made me very nervous even though I was wearing a mask, a customer came in without a mask, and nothing was said by the owners to have him mask-up or step outside. The truck I rented had a broken passenger-side armrest and door latch, making it difficult to close the door without slamming it. I do not recommend this business, and will not use them again.Fred R.

I clearly requested to drop off the truck in 20273 Fl-7, Boca Raton Fl 33498 and somebody changed it to Delray. This caused me a delay of 30 mins plus refill the tank. Also originally I was going to pay $127 and then it changed to $152. Not sure why the change and when I tried to call nobody was available. Very disappointing.Jorge G.

This place is a disgrace. I made a reservation # 21144455 for a 4 hour rental 730 -1130 for Nov 30, 2020. I picked up the vehicle at 804 pm and returned it a 1126 pm the same day. This place fraudulently backed up my pickup time on my receipt to 704 pm instead of 804pm. My drop off was also listed as 616 am the next day instead of 1126 pm the same night as pickup. I was charged 2 days for 4 hour rental. The clerk was very rude. I spoke to the manager Joyce Rodriguez who said she had customers and would call me back which she never did. I called again and they have a Smart Block on their business phone and no one picked up. I am disputing this charge. The reservation also stated 34.95 due at pickup but they billed my credit card $99.00 at pickup. Real desperate scammers. I am going to report this place if this is not resolved satisfactorily.Laurel W.
This has been the worst u-haul rental i have ever experienced. I was overcharged for multiple items. The first was safe move, i declined coverage but was charged 28 dollars. I had a problem with the lift gate, after we filled the truck the door was stuck in a locked position. When i called joywill i was told that this has happend in the past. That would of been nice to know before using the truck. I was also charged for a dolly i didn't even use. It was held in the front of the truck with a single rusty screw and a broken zip-tie. The wrecker service came out in about an hour and was able to repair the stuck door. Uhaul was accomodating and allowed me the lost time for the stuck door. When i read my contract online joywill charged me for 2 days when i was granted the extra time. I was however able to contact customer service and was helped by a friendly customer service rep and she helped me straighten out the extra charges. This place couldn't even print out a contract or advise you on what they would be charging you, save yourself time and money by avoiding this locationMichael S.

This is the second time I have rented from this location. Each time I have been charged a "cleaning fee" when the vehicle was returned. The first time this occurred, the vehicle that was returned was pristine. On my challenge, the cleaning fee was removed. THIS time, there were trace amounts of light colored sand on the inside, and the vehicle was not washed. No worries, as I only needed to move two couches from one location to another. After the return, however, I again received a "cleaning fee", and when I called the location was told that the sand was from me. The vendor location falsely insisted that they had used a blower to blow out the interior of the van -- simply a lie. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN AND WOULD STRONGLY URGE YOU TO AVOID RENTING FROM THIS PARTICULAR VENDOR.RAUL G.

You have an unauthorized charge to my account. I caught one after receiving invoice, I called Corporate and now you've taken more out than you should have. I gave you a 2nd chance by using you again. A few months ago there were roaches in the truck, I complained and did not give you a bad review. Now, you've stolen from me a second time on 1 invoice, after I complained about the same invoice. The equipment was fine. The customer service was terrible. I rented a truck with a utility dolly as I was moving my daughter out of her apartment and into another apartment. Both apartments were on the third floor without elevators so I needed a larger dolly as I had a smaller dolly personally. Drove down from Melbourne to Delray Beach and when I picked up the truck I was informed they do not rent out utility dollies The individual asked if I wanted a smaller dolly. I explain to her that I had my own dolly in Melbourneï¿¼ï¿¼ï¿¼ï¿¼ï¿¼ï¿¼ï¿¼ï¿¼ï¿¼ï¿¼ and that I did not have a choice as I needed a dolly I did not feel like I should have to pay for the smaller dolly. Salesperson did not come out to see initial gas gauge. When I returned the truck was grossly overcharged. When I called to dispute the charges she said first charge was deleted when it was not. One person mini-mart, gas station and u-haul location. Fine for a small town or isolated location but not for a major metropolitan area with U-haul businesses every couple miles. No extra quilts (your high profit margin product) no document printing available at this location. If I had not had a smart phone I would not been able to able to pick-up the truck.Mark P.

I brought home roaches from your van... I'm torn as to how to rate. There's no way for you to know there were roaches, if the prvious user infected the vehicle. However, I did not have roaches at my previous home nor were there roaches where I moved to. I moved in 2 weeks ago without my things, to check things out. I never saw a bug, the house is spotless...no issues. The night I unloaded the van, roaches appeared. I actually captured two, on napkins, to show your facility. When I turned in van the next morning, I shared what happened and the attendant refused to look at the critters. I did call customer service and uploaded pictures. Now I'm responsible for taking care of the ones I didn't see... I did not meet them in my new place, nor did they come from my previous place. This is not cool nor fair to me. I did not ask for this added expense, due to someone elses filth. I'm not happy or pleased by this experience. So, how would you rate you, if you were me and be fair?Bernadette K.

I proposed that i would need the truck for 3 hours when in fact i used it for closer to 4 hours because things took longer than i anticipated and because of that i was changed $59.95 which is $30 more than the rental itself which was $29.95.. Not only that, i mistakenly left a single, small metal rod about 5 feet long that weighted maybe 2 pounds and was charged an additional $25 for a cleaning fee,. Im VERY unsatisfied with how this was handled and requested a refund on the $59.95 which i was declined. I would never recommend using Uhaul from this provider.Romina C.
The truck I had was dirty . The brakes where bad and the right front wheel hub was making noise. I told the person at the uhaul/gas store and she was not to concerned about it. Also I couldn't get a paper receipt that I needed to send in to het paid for using a uhaul. I'm a mover and we use uhaul a lot. This one was a bad location for meBen K.

Check in was the issue. Took me 45 minutes to check in to rent an E150. I was only customer there. After about 20 minutes of trying to upload pics of my driver's license we tried to do it on my phone. That didn't work for some reason. Spent 10 minutes on hold with U haul. Finally the manager got someone on the phone from U haul and they guided him through the process.Jeffrey E.

Paid for a 2 wheel hand truck never got. Quoted price for 1 way trip drop off at destination in port Charlotte110.00 + 7.00 (hand truck) + 14.00 (insurance) total $131.00. was told truck had full tank of gas it did not we had to tank up before we left or we would have run out before we even got to the load destination. They scam u plus make u wait while they tend the other customers for gas, coffee,cigs,scratch offs etc.steven S.

The person who rented a 10' cube van to me told me to take it anywhere else, don't bring it back; I took it to another location. The man in charge said if I leave the van with him there'd be a $100 fee for change of rental location. That was wrong! I returned it to the first place and turned it in. Very confusing.
