Abysmal experience dealing with U-Haul the whole way through. Every step of the reservation process was terrible, my truck didn't have the dollie or moving pads I paid for. I'll never use U-Haul again. Your business processes are awful.

I was charged $85 additional dollars for keeping the trailer two days when the location was closed for those two days and I was unable to complete drop off.

The actual day of experience was fine. It was easy to pick up the trailer. I hate having to have the app to return the trailer... Waste of time and annoying. I reserved my truck way in advance and late the night before I got a call that there were no trucks available in the area and that I was being rerouted to far north Denver or Palmer lake... Both of which were about 50 miles each way from my house, which was also 17 miles from the storage unit. I was incredibly angry that all y'all offer is the $50 guarantee which wouldn't even begin to cover the insane mileage fees I would have to pay, along with the extra gas. I get people don't return trucks but seriously.... The options available to me were not ok. Thankfully there was this trailer available in elizabeth, and thankfully I was able to find a family member with a truck and hitch. Not to mention I moved on one of the only days we didn't have rain. I'm blessed that everything worked out, but it did not make up for the terrible customer service offered by uhaul itself.

Customer services left a lot to be desired. I informed individual I had a trailer to check in the trailer but told couldn't be done right away, told to park on the street below (asked me if I had insurance). He said the trailer would be checked in later. I later contacted Uhaul customer service to ensure trailer checked in. They contacted the drop off site and had them immediately check in the trailer and moving blankets. In the past, when I dropped off Uhaul equipment it was checked in and cleared before I left.

Initially I was satisfied with the location, however; my after return experience was not great. I was told to park the trailer on the side of the road as the location would be closed at my drop off time. It was not mentioned to use an app to return it, so I did as they requested. The following business day I was charged $190 total for the rental. All attempts to contact the retailer went unanswered. I finally had to contact Uhaul to get a refund of the added $156.85. I will utilize a larger affiliate next time I rent from Uhaul, which is a shame, as I was trying to support a local town business.

Returned the truck before due time at 6:40 peon 01/30/20. The location was closed. We were instructed where to leave the truck and keys when truck was picked up. Attempted multiple times to return truck on line. Failed each time. Called the rental facility this am to make sure the return was completed. Had to leave message which included name, contract number and my phone number. Assumed the transaction was complete until my husband received notification that his credit card was charged for another day of use. Renting location is extremely poor and I demand a refund to the credit card!!

A customer rep called me two days before the trailer was to be picked up to let me know I would have to drive an hour and a half to go pick it up during a snowstorm. I don't think it is appropriate to take a reservation for a location to then change that location to an hour and a half away.

Uhaul advertises the 6X12 utility trailer as 6' wide and suitable for utility vehicles. This is not true. The ramp is far less wide than the trailer. The 72" is completely useless with a 60" ramp. I found this out 600 miles from home when trying to load a 64" wide vehicle. I had to forklift the vehicle in and out. A bit dangerous and completely impractical if you dont have a forklift. When I called uhaul during this mess I was told its the biggest one they have.

Your folks ended up renting me a trailer to tow a car!!! After countless hours of making me produce a multitude of SPecs on the UTV - each time because they said the “system failed to save it last time”. You ONLY got my business because there was no other option.

We made a reservation a week in advance to pick up at the Elizabeth location. The day of rental they did not have the U-Haul. They did find us one in Castle Rock to rent. What is the point of reserving a U-Haul for a pick up location when it is not guaranteed. If the Castle Rock location did not have one then we would have been out of luck. Plus we had to drive 30 minutes to Castle Rock. Not too happy. We dropped off the U-Haul in Elizabeth we were given a hard time and were told we would have to take it back to Castle Rock. After a long discussion, we left the U-Haul at JR's.

I payed a cash deposit also & when I dropped off in Elizabeth Colorado I couldn't get my cash deposit back. Said it was to be mailed to me. I still haven't gotten my 60.00 refund for the rental. Very dissatisfied. Never had an issue before and was relying on that cash to get to my new job. DIDN'T HAPPEN. STILL HAVENT GOTTEN MY DEPOSIT BACK.

I would not recommend using Uhaul to a friend. Our truck was dirty in the cab. Also was $300.00 more than Budget. Budget trucks where much more comfortable.

The truck was old and run down. It should have been removed from the fleet. Poor mileage on power 70 mph is all it would do. It was really beat up. ABS lite keep coming on for the brakes.

check in process for the return of the truck was not clearly described we where told to use the app. no one could clearly describe how to use the app. when picking up the truck he could not find the reservation. and when checking the truck in the app could not locate my account either. we called Uhaul directly and checked in. and where still over charged for rental, saying we were late and did not replace the gas. Please Note: JR's was not open at the time of rental return, and we where told we had to use the App. the rental was left on the street on a hill when gas gauge was read for return. Gauges should be on level ground to read accurately. I was charged an additional $25 to replace the gas that I already replaced. JR's was not willing to discuss. so I again called Uhaul directly and they where much more responsive. What started as a $50+ mileage turned into $200 Billed. Simply put I will not be doing business with JR's again. I have never had issues like this from any other location.

Told that cleaning fee was $25, Sign in the truck said cleaning fee was $25. Was charged $45. I challenged this charge and was told $25 was minimum and only covered quick sweep of dust not removal of anything else. This is second time I was overcharged. 1st time was $65. Last time I use UHaul.
