This comment is not necessarily in regards to this pick-up location. All was excellent at this location. This comment is more in regards to U-haul in general and frustrations with our rental. I requested a U-haul at the beginning of the month before I needed one. The night before I was told there were none available in my town and the only one available was at this location, 22 miles away. Not a huge problem, however my rental only included 52 miles total which I knew we'd be within with a pick up in my town as originally requested. Unfortunately we exceeded this mileage and had to pay more for the extra miles. This is frustrating as the local U-haul we passed to our destination had over a handful of the size trucks we requested sitting in its lot and we had to drive 22 miles out of our way and then incur extra mileage charges for our rental.

Todd MWe were supposed to pick up in Castle Rock but were redirected to pickup in Elizabeth instead, which was much further out of the way. If Uhaul accepted my request to pick up from Castle Rock, then I should get it from there, rather than being told to go to a different city, less than 24 hours beforehand. Unacceptable.
Jason DMake sure they understand you communicate via text and email frequently. Like take a picture of the trailer before you leave the lot. I saw the text too late to respond.
