The truck was filthy , it smelled so bad. I had to buy cleaning products and fabreeze . The truck needs a wheel Alignment. It was just a bad experience. Let me say it again IT STUNK AND IT WAS FILTHY

Matt ATo make sure that the vehicle is clean when the next customer picks it up. I had a bad experience when I picked up my vehicle. It was so dirty. There were so many bugs inside it was disgusting. It took me about an hour just to almost clean it.Waste of my time

Mike and Lisa are always SUPER helpful considering there is ALWAYS an issue with the app and picking up the truck. I've rented from this location 3 times now and all 3 times they have gone above and beyond to try to help me. The customer service at the newburgh office is sub par however there was one woman that I had to speak to twice that was fantastic.

DAVID MUpon returning my keys, I was instructed to place it in the key drop box which had a very narrow opening that could not accommodate the keys. Did no one check this before. So instructions on returning the keys were incorrect and there was no one present to guide you.

John AI rented with the mobile share. First I was 30min past my pick up time and was unable to start the rental thru the app. I had to call customer service to start which made me even later. Then when I returned the van I was unable to leave keys in drop box because the slot was too small. I guess made back when keys were just a skinny key . I had to call customer service again!! I also would suggest the establishment should put up no parking signs in the are where they want you to leave the uhaul. I had to ask a customer to move their vehicle because they parked right where the van needed to go.

judy rI rented the same van in August at that time there is a notice displayed on the dash to “service charging system” imagine my surprise when the same message was displayed 10/12/23. The van also smells of cigarette smoke. Other than those two items it is super convenient location and easy rental.

Easter STook me almost two hours to get the truck. App is garbage! Wouldn't except pics, Wouldn't except credit card, took 40 min to get it done with the help over the phone. And then same problem returning it. When I went to take pics to show there was no damage it didn't let me finish after I took just one Pic. It just jumped to the end page and I couldn't go back. Once again I had to call uhaul and explain over the phone. Nightmare!
Frank CThe fact that there’s no attendee for questions regarding the lock box,and the customer service isn’t knowledgeable about the area made it difficult to gain access to the key. Also no parking for your vehicle.
Abena GMy experience with the mobile app is abysmal. This time it took 40 minutes to get through the whole process of checking in, a;ll the time i was standing in the rain by the key box. The last time(3 months ago,) it took nearly 2 hours. the IOS app doesn't work, and the web browser version tends to crash my phone. on top of that the process of telling who I am is clunky. Why can't you get your identity pre-approved so that you don't have to prove who you are out in the cold, oir hot or rain? It's just a horrible experience.

Kim MGive them a decent truck to rent when you have one available. Not a vehicle that has a riveted bumper from previous damage and tire sensors that are defective causing renter to waste time and miles. Finding a gas station, calling roadside service only to be told that that's normal for these safety sensors to be defective. Given vehicle with only a quarter tank of gas. Then have the nerve to charge an extra 13.00 for going over the mileage by one mile!!!!!!! Never ever again!!!!!

Elliot FPick up was a pain because remote 24/7 uhaul website made it tedious and lengthy. Kept having to resign in start over. Annoying. Drop off was a breeze. Handed keys to a live person who was very nice.

Patrick MJust make sure that the inside of the trucks where customers are going to put their belongings is clean. Take notes of all damages in our and around the U-Haul. Lisa was very nice I would go back to get a truck from there.

ROBERTHALL GPick-up truck needed cleaning, inside and out. App for returning truck, failed to work as needed. Was not able to upload photos that were required to go to next step. Very frustrating experience. Customer service is of absolutely no HELP!
Michael BThe pick-up procedure was very confusing. I was not aware that the “alternate contacts” would be contacted right away, as that was not specified. Both of these individuals were unable to answer the calls from UHaul, so I ended up waiting over 20 minutes just waiting. When I questioned things on the chat, the agent did not explain what was going on.
Christine TCharging $14 for insurance and not letting you opt out is ridiculous. Because even if you get the insurance and something happens you are still responsible to pay for it… won’t be renting again !!!!!

Darryl MAfter waiting 35 minutes, and countless problems trying to pick up the truck and being told there was nothing the people inside could do to help, they had to call the manager from home to come finally help us. Don’t rent trucks at a location of the employees can’t help when problems occur.

Peter TThe location was fine, truck was fine. The issue was, and likely for others, is the online checkin system. I wasted nearly 90 minutes attempting to get the truck. Multiple calls to customer service were marginally helpful. The entire process should be completed PRIOR to arriving at the location- similar to a car rental. I have left enterprise in under 10 mins, rental to driving away, all from my phone. Whomever set up the ride share rental process in this way, should be fired.

Joseph LThe truck was the filthiest truck I have ever been in, in covid this is unhealthy and dangerous. We drove it home and I had to wash it out completely in the inside and the back bed looked like it had never been clean, there was hay, leaves, debri and mud inside and outside of the truck. It had a huge dent in the passenger door. It took forever to get the code for the truck because no one told us we had to be where the truck was parked. I recently had knee surgery and it was hard to stand at length to sign up again, after I had filled all the info out the night before, it was awful service. We rent from you frequently and this was the worse rental pick up we have ever had, the truck was downright gross, no one should have rented that pig of a truck ever, whoever had it last just dropped it off, dirty. It took forty five minutes to clean it before we could even drive it. I used interior car cleaner and a bucket of water, the water was black when I finished and the rag that I usually wash and use again I threw in the garbage, it took four time of washing my hands to get the smell off of them. Disgusting.
