The drop off location changed from pickup location to location 8 miles east. I was informed at time of pickup but did not get written notice. So I was leary of dropping it off at new location. The order said 18 pads but they only gave me 14. The order I had said 24. That should have been changed on my copy. The truck had a leak - rain - and got a little water in the truck from roof edge. Luckily I noticed it and dried the leather couch off before damage occurred. The leak was in the right edge middle of truck on edge. I did not know how to use the auto speed function but figured that out on return. But it would be nice to have that instruction.

DARRYL AThe truck would not start when we got to our destination. We got a jump because it would be faster than contacting U-haul. The truck would not start after unloading it. A new battery was needed. I found this information online when determining if we should just get another jump. “For U-Haul customers with a dead battery, roadside assistance will dispatch a service provider to jumpstart the vehicle. The average time for this to occur can vary, but it's usually within a reasonable timeframe, as U-Haul aims to resolve such issues promptly. If the issue is more complex, like a battery replacement, the time could be longer, potentially a few days.” We got another jump. I wanted to stop for gas, but i would have to turn off the engine again. I texted with Roadside Assistance and he just referred me to a different Roadside Assistance. image0.jpeg It was too hot to wait AGAIN for help. Instead, I dropped it off at our drop-off point without getting the gas. You have charged too much for the missing gas. I would prefer if you switched out the battery and let me know so I can fill it myself. This a very frustrating experience! Perhaps U-haul should compensate me for the unreliable truck by paying for the gas.

KEVIN CTwo tires were bad on the trailer , one exploded on I -75 and the other blew a belt and went oval and it almost wrecked us cause the trailer was hopping all over the road . That could have been disasterus. We spent 4 1/2 hrs waiting for repairs in 94 degrees weather Not to mention we waisted 1/4 tank of gas trying not to die of heat exhaustion. Not happy 😡 .

JAMES HWeb site return process was terrible. Computer couldn't find my location. Chat response was not at all helpful. I dropped trailer, took pictures and told chat person I was done. Trailer returned. Contract put on hold for 3 days until I went back to the dispatch location! Now waiting for my money.
Ivan CThe only issue I have with Judds rental is the lock was rusty and very hard to open. My main complaint is with U-Haul. Took me 45 minutes (30 of that cut into my rental time) to get into my U-Haul. The app didn’t work properly (kept telling me to turn in my location, which is ALWAYS ON) I clicked the “chat” link, no one responded, I called and was on hold until I got into the truck, then hung up. At one point we were told we would get a call back and never did. My worst experience with U-Haul ever!!!!

DALE TWe dropped off with no help from personnel. They just said take it over to an area and drop it. We did not have to sign or receive anything that it was dropped off.
DAWN STrailer not cleaned from previous user. Lights not tested before lvg lot. Found out early next morning wires for lights were shredded, trailer lights did not work and this blew the trucks trailer fuses! We had to cut out bad segment and splice all the wires before proceeding! This put our move behind schedule and nearly missed moving into new place. Reservation had been in system for several weeks. Also found out that lot where we returned trailer, did not deal with trailers--another location should have been chosen. Judds should have advised us of this before we left lot. All of this could/should have been prevented. Would not recommend unless you ensure yourself all problems resolved before picking up trailer.

RONDA KThe folks at Judd's are so helpful and friendly. They quickly hook up your trailers or cargo containers and get you on your way. Then when you return the item, they quickly unhook for you and do not require you to drive to any spot to be unhooked. I have used this location four times now and each time I have had the same positive results, which prompted me to fill out this review.
DANIEL GAfter deciding to use UHaul for move from FL to MI, I visited Judd's Rental 4 times. Each employee was helpful & informative. I cannot say enough good things about Steve, Dan & Adam. This UHaul facility has top notch employees who offered good advice, answered numerous questions.

SHAWN PI received a trailer that has Bushing on the spring shackle, even they know I will take it down to Ohio. This delayed all my plans and made me very upset. I ended up by picking another one from distant location. It cost me time, effort, and plans disturbance. I wander if you guys care at all about your customers’ safety!

JUSTIN WHonestly, y'all did amazing.. I was nervous about towing my first trailer across country Michigan to Florida. Process was super easy. Your guys hooked the trailer up for me. Once I reached Florida I returned the trailer to a uhaul that wasn't my designated uhaul location over night while they were closed and still had no issues at all. I called the closed store the next day and everyone was super nice at both locations.

STEPHEN MOne of the tires was very low on pressure. The trailer had just been returned to Judd's with no time for maintenance before our rental pickup and the low tire pressure was not visible until I loaded the trailer. I brought the trailer back to Judd's Rental and the representative brought the tire up to the correct pressure so we could make our trip for the day. When I turned in the trailer in Holland I mentioned to the representative that one tire needed attention and they sequestered the trailer for the tire maintenance. Both Judd's Rental and the Lakewood U-Haul people were fantastic to work with and I highly recommend them both.
