The gentleman that helped was great ~ many thanks. One comment on the truck itself ~ picking up a truck with 37 miles of gas left in the tank was a disappointment and inconvenience. I was on a timeline for a one-way move that day, and having to go fill the gas tank before I could proceed with the moving day was just another thing to have to do before I could get to work. Don't leave customers with hardly any gas in the tank when they are renting, especially for an out of town move ~ not the way to do things.
DAVID HNot lie to the customer for starters! I got over charged and lied to. I will never use U-Haul again nor will I tell people to use U-Haul! You’ve cost me $1,000’s of dollars because of poor service during a break down and then charged me more because of it!!!!
chris mThe person at the counter was helping another customer when I first walked in and I was happy to wait, but the staff member asked if I was dropping off a Uhaul, I said I was and they gestured for the keys and told me they'd get me checked in and text me later. Hours later I get a text asking me to complete drop-off and it's clear it still had not been checked in at the site. I will make sure to never pick up or drop off at another location that is not a DEDICATED UHAUL location.
