My other complainant is about u-haul making everything be done on-line, I have had 2 emergency on the road and need a truck or a car tow dolly and being told you have to do it online. Going forward if I need, u-haul is the last resource I will use.
William G.The A/C in the vehicle did not work the majority of the time. It rained both times and made it really dangerous when driving due to how fogged the windows would get. It was very dangerous both times when driving this vehicle during this time frame resulting in having to pull over and waste time on the side of the road. I highly recommend getting the A/C on the 26' truck.

Toby P.The trailer I rented was submitted as returned when I still had it. I tried messaging thru the Uhaul website, but no response. Then my husband got pulled over by the sheriff's department after your owner followed him because it was reported stolen. He was made to get out, with their guns drawn, and sat on the side of the road for over an hour in handcuffs because of your incompetence. He was almost detained and charged with theft.
Danielle A.THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I have rented H-Haul vehicles for over 10 years in various sizes for different tasks. This is the first time I ever had any problems with my rental. When I got the vehicle loaded it would not start. So I called the location I rented the vehicle from, instead of speaking with me, (and this rental is at a car lot where they sell and repair cars) I was told to call U-Haul to get an answer to my problem. Jasmine who was located in Arizona did everything she could to help me and could not resolve the problem and when I expressed to her that waiting for an hour in 95 degree temperatures would be a lot, she called someone to contact me within 30 minutes and actually made two other calls to me to make sure that I got back on the road (she was amazing!! and deserves to be acknowledge for her exceptional Customer Service).The person who was sent out to assist me was amazing. He explained what happened and if it happened again what I should do. Then for the first time ever I backed into a wall and created damage on the vehicle. When I returned it the person did not know how to do a claim and when I found out that I had to pay the deductible I ask for it to be put on a different card from the card they were charging for my rental. However when I opened my email today I was issued a promissory note for the entire amount. Neither of the cards that I had given to them on Friday July 29th, was used and the date of the rental is incorrect on the promissory note. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN AND WILL LET EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO!!!!! Not only was there no communication when I left that evening except your receipt will be in your email there was no explanation as to how this process would work after I specifically told them I would have to use a second payment form. They did not ask for the other form of payment only that U-Haul would probably give me a call on Monday. This experience is totally unacceptable and I am furious that I was issued a promissory note. I will take care of this today, but I will never go back to Just For Fun, in Monroe, GA and recommend that no one else should either. The worst customer service ever in 10 years..

We had to drive further out of the way.(more gas/ more time wasted) Would like to be able to reserve a unit and get it where I reserved it. This is not the first time we have had to get our reserved vehicle at a different location.

GLEN E.Was charged for over mileage didn't notice this until I received an alert from my credit card company saying I was billed an extra 94 dollars. And the email bill says I drove 210 miles I drove from brookhaven ga to Monroe ga a total of maybe 60miles. I am assuming I will just have to eat the cost of this.
Eric H.Friday, upon rental at 4pm we told a lady complete the rental we would be back around 7 or 8pm. She said the gate to the business would be locked and of we brought the trailer back around noon on Sunday she would only charge us one day. That was not the case. Sunday we brought the trailer back shortly after noon and the gentleman who was working charged us for two days rental. We were rather disappointed with this and the lady was not working who we dealt with Friday. If managing a U-Haul rental center how can people return a rented product if the gates are locked after hours. Almost seems as if a sure way to get an additional day of rental when you can't drop off. Our usual U-Haul location allows for after hour drop off without the hassle of locked gates. In the future, if we have to use Just For Fun in Monroe, GA for a rental we will leave the rented unit in front of the gate and check the unit back in online.
