I had reserved a 20 foot truck to be picked up in Grand Island Nebraska in the morning on June 29 I recieved an email telling me to call and was told that if I wanted to get a truck before 7pm the 29th I would have to drive to Norfolk and get one, yes I was given an extra day and an extra 130 miles because I had to go get it the 28th but between the fuel in my vehicle and the truck it cost me an extra 70 dollars in fuel costs, also I requested a 2 wheel dolly the one that I was given had a weld spot broke so was unusable will not be using Uhaul services againAngela T.

Nothing. This is a very easy place to find and the drop box was in plain sight, no searching around for itheather W.
my pick up location was moved over 10 miles from the original spot with multiple pick up locations in the same town. I was not informed that I had to verify on my smart phone to get the key and after trying for over an hour was forced to call and be put on hold before being taken care of. After this they called me the next day asking where the truck was and it had been reserved for 4 days. After dropping off the vehicle I got another call asking if I was bringing back the truck. They don't know what there doing!Paul J.

U Haul needs to provide a lift jack on the hitch of the trailers. My husband hurt his back lifting the hitch of the ball when returning the trailer.JACQUELINE H.

I originally called Gordy's and their service was terrible. The lady answering the phone indicated they were closed both Friday and Saturday but did tell me I could pick up a truck at Mead Lumber at 11:00. The person where I did pick up the truck said someone tried to call me but I did not have a record of that on my cell phone. So good service by the company where I picked up the truck but terrible service from Gordy's and whomever was supposed to call me.KEVIN C.
When I have rented U-Haul trucks in the NYC area they had bars that went across the truck and across mom's attic. These served to restrain the material and avoid damage. In this case I borrowed rope from a neighbor. It would have been better to have had restraints in the truck.TOM S.

Upon ariving at the location, no one was there. I waited for over an hour for someone to show up, and ended up leaving. I was called back and said that the keys would be left in the truck and the pads in the back. There were only 12 pads in the truck, and the interior of it was sticky from a spill of some sort. Mike in Council Bluffs was the only good experience I had the whole day.JEREMY B.
