I was was over about $5.00 in miles. U-haul charges me. I put $12.00 to much gas in rental truck. Fuel gauge slow to show real level. Did they give me that credit. NO of course not. Had to drive 1 hour to pick up truck and did not get any notification or email about pick up change. Reserved truck and dolly 3 weeks ahead and did not have truck or dolly at pick up location. Marion location gave wrong info regarding drop off time and over charged for insurance. Terrible and stressful experience.Cynthia G.

after U-Haul changed my pick up location three different times, the day before I was supposed to pick up my truck they called and told me that the nearest one would be an hour and a half drive from where I originally wanted to pick up my U-Haul. Not only that but the customer service lady in Huntsville, I think her name was Tessa or Teresa, was so incredibly unpleasant I could hardly believe she was in customer service as her job. The truck was clean, which was great, but my experience with U-Haul was not fantasticMacy D.

It would have been great to have assistance with a trailer, especially for a single mom with a child in the car. It took an hour to attach to vehicle, after asking assistance from a stranger that was walking in the parking lot. Trailer's second wheel on the driver's side was also nearly flat at pick up. One of the worst U-Hail experiences to date.Jennifer C.

The lady had no understanding of what had been set up when I arrived. I had to explain several times what had been arranged. She had me wait at least 35-45 minutes. She then realized she had no paper in the printer so I had to wait another 10 minutes for someone to show up with paper because she did not have any. Then when I got the paperwork finalized I had to ask for the keys and then I had to find the truck and attach my own dolly. So to sum this up, within 15 minutes of this I was going to leave and call budget to get a truck I was so pissed at this individual who seemed to know nothing about her own job. If she was my employee, she would not have a job after this poor performance. I was terribly inconvenienced and my moving plans were delayed.john W.
The comments are for Order #28203488 This reservation was made in time for feedback if the equipment could not be able at that location. When we got to Demopolis, AL checked in and the reservation was changed to the 20ft truck instead of the 26ft U-Haul truck that would be reserved and had to drive to Marion, AL to get it, which took several calling U-Haul and area dealers to get it, short on furniture padding, did not have furniture dolly, at the Marion dealer, so had to call the Demopolis dealer to confirm they would have the dolly, so planning on getting a truck reserved didn't work out will. Could not locate any boxes with in 50 miles.BRENDA L.
The person who was working did not come out to check the equipment before we left the location. After we hooked the trailer up to our truck, we saw that one of the taillights was not working. When I told the employee that it was not working, she came outside to see it for herself and she pointed out a sticker that had been placed on the taillight indicating that they knew it didn't work. If they knew that it didn't work, then why did they let us rent that trailer? I was very disappointed with the service that we received.Ashley C.

I cannot really complain. In my case, I turned the trailer in a day earlier than required. I have used this location six or eight times over the years and have always had good service. It is convenient and rarely crowded so everything is fast and easy. However, today after I removed the trailer from my truck, I was told by the attendant that she could not check the trailer in until tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have to go out of town tomorrow so coming back was not much of an option. The lady was very pleasant and seemed professional enough, but I honestly felt that she was mistaken. I called the u-haul toll free number and the lady there listened to my problem, put me on hold for a couple of minutes, and came back on to tell me that she had spoken with the attendant and everything was fine. In the end it all worked out fine and I remain a very satisfied customer. Thank you to everyone involved.WILLIAM S.

Very bad experience. Made a reservation a week prior but there was no equipment when I arrived. No one called to alert me of this. It took them 30 minutes to find another trailer which was 90 minutes away. I was sent 90 minutes away as this was supposed to be the closest location with the trailer. Once I got there, It took them over an hour to figure out how to effect my rental because they did not know how to use the computer. Once the rental was complete, I was told I had to hook it up by myself. No one even came out with me to help me back up to the trailer. I had to figure out how to hook it up myself without and help. I am very very disappointed with this experience.Ernest W.

it took me 2 1\2 hours and 8 phone from my cell to get the rental, the personnel at this location was no help, i finnaly got in touch with distrct mgr and did a over the phone contract, got caught in the rain because of the wait lost a couch and love seat do to rain damage, the trailer was not swept out i had to hook it up my self, and she told me a total price of 134.29 and when i finnaly got the trailer it was way more . the distrct mgr was a great help on the phone.thanks Richard GrahamRICHARD G.
