There was not the van size I asked for at the location I asked for - which is fine but no one told me until lathe day before - late! Mixed review: Overall happy with it all. Folks on telephone were very professional, nice and efficient. Truck was not totally clean but pretty clean. Except the gas gage was screwy, reflecting different gas amounts when low and when filled - to your advantage, of course. Also, the receipt did Not reflect the costs given when reserved. I have to look again and call. Don’t have that kind of time!!! Not even sure I got an email receipts, just receipt from the store which is ALMOST ILLEGIBLE due to lack of printer ink!! -

Guanghui YThe location did not open on time and opened about 30 minutes past our reservation time. We had to call customer service and adjust our reservation for mobile pickup - all in all we ended up picking up the truck almost 45 minutes late because of this. We were on a schedule and had to rush the rest of the day.
Michael TThe address alone was not helpful because the U-Haul location is inside a strip mall and location finder was not able to pinpoint that it was a beer and wine store. Why can't U-Haul just put the Beer and Wine logo on the site for that particular location. I went to where I saw U-Hual trucks parked

MICHAEL SThe overall check-in experience was good. However, when I returned later that night to complete the after hours truck return, the system tried to charge me twice. This was extremely dissatisfying, as U-Haul tried to charge me twice more than what I was initially quoted.

I had to contact u-haul chat there were so many delayed responses it took me 40 minutes to use eventually had to go inside the store to finish the pick up. The agent inside was very friendly and helpful only took 3 minutes.

REBECCA NRented a 15' truck. There was debris in the truck and sticky spillage in the cabin cupholders. The engine had to think about it for a while before actually turning over. The passenger side mirror was swinging freely while driving such that I was completely blind on that side (dangerous!!) until I went back to the store and was given a tool to tighten it myself. The truck was provided with only 5/16 of a tank of gas.
CHARLES Pwe rented a u-haul and 2 dollies, when we arrived the dollie’s were not there. no one called to let us know, we had to drive an extra 16 miles to find a store that had one, then purchase it. we were also told at check out we would get a discount for the trouble but we did not. big inconvenience and nothing was done about it, wouldn’t recommend

Joseph MThis is a great place to pick up a UHAUL. It's at in the parking lot of a nice strip mall next to a grocery store. There's an afterhours drop off option, but I preferred going to the wine and beer store. The attendant there was quick, professional and friendly. I would use again.
Richard SI rented a dolly but it was not inside the truck when I went to pick it up. I then had to drive 10 additional miles to borrow one from a friend. In the end, I was charged more than initially planned because of this inconvenience from U-Haul. Terrible experience and a complete finesse on the locations end.

ANDREW WCustomers should always get updated ablut changes on their reservations,not only by text or email but a personal call will be the best reminder of any updates regarding the rental reservation.
KIM MLocation is close to my house, usually has the equipment I need for the length of time I need & I can leave a car there. However, I usually need to pick up equipment early in the morning which means I need to use the app, which is SLOW, and takes forever & sometimes just stops working. I can drive to another location that opens at 7 or 8 a.m., deal with a human being, and be on my way faster than using the U-Haul app.
DAVID RThe location of the vehicles made it impossible to be in the vehicle and use the app - the location is a dead zone. The lighting where the vehicles are parked should be improved. The representative on site did not speak English well.
BENNETTA MMobile pickup with app was a fail. Ordered blankets, they were not already in the truck, which apparently blocked me from completing mobile pickup. The App directed me to call the uhaul number. Checked the actual rental office but it still had “closed” sign up even though it was 50 min after the 10AM expected open time for a Sunday. Back to the phone, 15 minutes through the automated system to just be put on hold for promised 20-25 minute wait. But before someone could help, my order was canceled for nonpickup and the automated phone system hung up on me after 26 min on hold. Tried to re-reserve, now will only let me do it for 1pm instead of 10am, hours lost. called uhaul again, got put on hold again, automated system hung up on me after 26 min again. That should not happen. back at uhaul at 1pm, finally got a human on the phone, who directed me to the location rental office, which had presumably been open for hours. Inside, one worker was not welcoming, one was ok. Truck could have been cleaner. something on floor of cargo area like broken glass, probably plastic, but sure it would have scratched furniture. Turning truck back in, same worker also not welcoming. Think of a tone more like a cop giving you a ticket for speeding, accusatory questions, and I paid for safemove insurance. Discussion about gas level was more tense than I think it needed to be. I was happy to pay the extra $ for the amount the fuel decreased coming back from gas station just to be done with it. This was my second time renting here in 4 weeks, likely won’t come back here anytime soon.

Stop leaving him to attend other customers when you should be helping the customer who first came to you. 2 minutes process took 20 minutes and shop should be open at 10 am as it says on the sign. Doesn’t mean come in at 10 am and then start opening up the shop. People have places to be not to wait

EUGENE MThe location was hard to find. They should specify that they are located inside the beer and wine. Then there are hidden fees. I paid the amount it said online. Then got an invoice stating I needed to pay an additional $130. Also, when I picked up the truck it had absolutely no gas in it.

James MYour app doesn't work well. Frankly, it was really bad. It freezes up and won't upload photos, and forced me to start completely ober several times. I am mot an idiot and I have a new phone (iPhone 15). Both at check out and truck return, I had to call your customer service representative. I wasted a lot of time trying to use the app. Your reps were good and saved the day. Makes me miss the old days and human interaction. It was so bad I am not sure I would use you again.

ANDREW VThis location is an excellent location within the suburbs. Having another person working the UHaul counter would be helpful and faster. The location only had one worker working both the regular store cashier and the UHaul counter, which slowed check-in. He was nice but had to do everything himself, including stocking and getting stuff out for customers.
Nkiruka AComputer system was super slow for pickup. Truck smelled like pot inside and out. Brakes were iffy.
CORINNE VImprovement suggestion: Help the online system to align with what is actually available in the store. Comment: I rented on trucks on two different days and was helped by different people on each day. Both were excellent. They were both knowledgeable and kind and went out of their way to be helpful.

BELAY BWhile the physical space for the trucks and lockboxes is very convenient, the keys were not available for the truck I came for, and all of the rented equipment was not provided. The truck I ended up taking had broken A/C and got very loud and overheated during use. We were worried it wouldn't make it back.

NORMAN GThe tow dolly trailer I rented needed basic maintenance. The right turn signal was inoperative. The hitch connector knob to attach the trailer needed lubrication and I did that myself. The pick up location was a little sketchy. Also the tow dolly we having the woods and I had to drag it around 180° to attach it to my truck which was difficult.

Only my driving around to the back of the building where I saw the 4x8 trailer gave me an idea of where I might look for the beer wine and deli to present my license and credit card and receive the contract.

Mark E1) Please recognize that every person using your vans may not be able to enter the vans easily. It would be super helpful if the vans had an additional step added, or a step stool available - without an additional charge - that can be put out and pulled up without the user having to get out of the vehicle to retrieve the step stool. I fell getting into the van because it was too far from the ground for me to enter! 2) I wish the "dashboard" with the music were easier to use for those of us not familiar this new type of attachment that not only provides radio but also bluetooth access. I was surprised that it included phone numbers that were added because of the bluetooth - I think. It would be helpful if a paper instruction sheet were available explaining how to use this instrument for those of us not familiar with it. Please don't think that this can be solved by making the info available on a mobile app - many of us are not that familiar with mobile apps and an app will not be as useful as a paper sheet - which should be offered free of charge.

Calvin OStaff was friendly and helpful, but I was supposed to have self check-in, and the app sent me inside for the keys. Also, the app hadn't logged the correct 2 hand-trucks that I requested. The staff member had to manually put them in there. The one it had logged wasn't in the truck when I arrived either. Self check-in is already long and tedious, and having to go in-store defeats the purpose. Cell phone service for Verizon was also quite slow on the side of the building. Small annoyances. Nothing catastrophic. I do appreciate the staff person who was there to assist me!
Erin BThe truck was fine. The registration procedures and self-pick up were ridiculously disorganized. It took numerous attempts to register online, then 2 customer service reps to fix the problem with my account (someone had given my phone number weeks prior for their reservation, I called, it never got corrected). I was also to self pick up on Sat prior to the store opening - never received texts with directions and key lockbox info, despite being assured the day before that i would, the app didn't work, the website didn't work, it took 3 customer service people to get me the correct info - so my rental started 1 1/2 hour late. These problems were much more corporate and electronic than the particular rental location, tho the bed of the truck was very sticky.
James GI always have had a good experience here. This time, the truck was clean but worn. Seat covers ripped, engine light on, It ran fine. No mechanical problems. I will definitely use this location again and recommend it.
