I did not reserve the the van ahead of time. When I got there I was told to call someone who was off location. Then the person said I had to reverse the van online. This took extra time out of my day. When I returned the van I had to wait to be checked in. The whole process at the location seamed extremely unprofessional. If I need to rent a moving vehicle I wont go to this location again. I only went there out of the convenience. I will look for another location in the future.JOEL S.

The code we were given to the lock box was not correct and we had to sit and guess for 30 min because the Location doesn't actually open until 10a. And our pickup was 7:30aSamantha W.
Every aspect from pick up to drop off has been difficult and problematic. We are now being billed a late fee for the additional fees we were charged. I paid the fee yesterday on the phone and have received a confirmation that payment was received. Now I have been on hold for nearly 15 minutes trying to clear the account.David H.

The self checkout took too long to complete and ate into my rental time. I was not told that the secondary contact would be called and as a result they didn't pick up the random number. The total delay ended up being half an hour. It should be clear that the secondary person will be called and I could've given them a heads up.Jonathan H.
Reserved a dolly, didn't get it, truck was dirty, greasey hand prints all over mirrors, widows filthy,dash panel filthy, inside the truck smelled like an old bar. When I explained these things to the guy renting me the truck he could no longer understand what I was saying ( foreigner). Very unpleasant experience this time.JAMES B.
Prior renter left the vehicle dirty (empty water bottles, small plastic bag with garbage, crumbs, and other miscellaneous items). Inspection and cleaning of the vehicle before re-renting would be appreciated. Also, provide a better means for estimating fuel consumption and refueling so I don't overfill the vehicle upon my return).Muhammad F.

In the end, I did get a good van and the move was accomplished. However, the rental process was miserable. The location was a beer and wine store with only one guy running the store and the rentals. In the 90 minutes I was there, I saw about 6 other people renting trucks, so this poor guy was dealing with multiple renters plus the store customers. When there were problems with the trucks (one had a brake light out, one reservation couldn't be found, my first one came with its own cigarette butts and vomit), the guy had to ask everyone to leave the store, lock the doors, and go deal with the issues at a distant lot. Just ridiculous. The problem is that U-Haul seems to have moved to this franchise system where other businesses (gas stations, stores, etc.) run a few rental trucks on the side. The franchisees don't know anything about trucks and offer zip support; not like when you used to go to a U-Haul center where staff knew what they were doing. Also be aware that while the reservation website prompts you to add things like dollies, furniture pads, and boxes, most of these locations don't have those - or even know what they are. Finally, always check to see if you can park at the rental location. If you're picking up a truck by yourself and suddenly find you can't leave the car you came in, your day just got way more complicated.Christopher M.
While I thought it was strange to drop the truck off at a package store, I guess it would make good commercial sense that one would grab a couple of snacks and drinks in the course of dropping off one's truck. That is genius. The young Ethiopian man was very kind. The store was busy but he was able to pivot back and forth without missing a step; checking my equipment back in and taking care of all the customers. I'd definitely hire him if I ran a tavern or travel stop. It was pretty easy to park the truck and overall, I'd definitely recommend this pick up or drop off location. I didn't catch the young man's name. That is the only reason I mentioned he is Ethiopian. I love culture!!!Kandie K.

No touch Pickup process took longer as was asked 3 times and sent 3 times times the driver license back photo and then when tried to call was on hold for 20 min. Took 25 minutes to get into truck. Also had ordered a dolly and wasn't included and I had to request credit.Stephen H.
Clerk didn't wear mask for most of transaction, could not get the system to work with my reservation so had to manually re-enter it, had lost the key and spent 30 minutes looking for it. Also, several customers entered and spent entire time in store without masks.MATTHEW O.
The truck smelled like smoke. Our reservation was made and confirmed for another location. At 4:30 am, I received an email stating that the location was changed, however, the hours were the same. When I got to the location, they did not have the truck available because they had the my rental hours wrong. I had to wait an hour for the truck to get there.JAMES H.
Car wasn't clean, smelled like smoke and had ash all over it. Tank was only 1/4 full and when returning, with more than 1/4 tank, I was initially charged 75$ For gas. Had to work with the clerk to get my bill updated.Margot B.
