All good. Truck was ready when promised and when I needed to extend the booking there was no issue. Only matter to highlight was that they do not stock a lot of furniture mats and I had booked for 12 but they only had 4 available.Ian G.

Vehicle was old but maintained. It was dirty inside and out mostly due to the recent bad weather. The vehicle came with 5/16 of a tank and I was expected to fill it back to that level when returned. Filling it from 1/8 to 5/16 of a tank is a difficult thing to do when you don't know the tank size. The owner took the keys before I had a chance to fill it and told me it woul be about $15 which I think is high based on driving only 37 km but I had no way to check because he took the keys. Getting the vehicle full and returning it full would be much easier and would not lead to me thinking I overpaid for the gas I used or having to do a trial and error method to try to get the right amount of gas back in it.Randy M.

The U-Haul van was covered in snow and the rental person simply gave me a snow brush to remove the snow myself. Also, the van's TPMS read that one of the tires was low pressure. The interior of the van was clearly not cleaned after the last rental. Overall, the van was not fully prepared for safety, cleanliness, and convenience.Danny H.

The vehicle was clean, not an issue. But with only 44,000 kms on it, the vehicle â€˜shuddered' at speeds of 70-80 kph on a clear, dry freeway. Clearly something wrong with the vehicle. I only drove 42 kms with it (all I needed the vehicle for) and this happened for less than a minute while I was driving.Lynn G.

The old gentleman who served me was super condescending, I was upset because U-Haul sent us to the wrong location and we lost an hour of our rental so I was emotional when we arrived to pick up the truck. The guy asked (rudely) if I even knew how to drive a truck. I am a small woman and get being asked but he asked repeatedly and ignorantly and there was no need for it. I would never rent from this location again! PS: I drove it just fine and returned it exactly how I received it so he can suck it!Susan W.

I would like to request a refund of $40 for the reason that I couldn't get the van till 11:30 but I had been there waiting since 10. This is not the locations fault but your national teams fault. I had an e alert on file saying I wasn't verified and I had to upload a photo of myself with my drivers licence which was not even possible. The extra 1.5 hours costed me an extra $40 in hired labour.Rachel K.

I got a truck for 3.5 hrs. and drove 15 miles. And ended up getting 86.51 which is outrageous. $ 20.00 worth of gas for 15 miles??? I am a seniors and was threatened with a big surcharge if I was late. \I actually rushed everyone involved and got done 1/2 hr. early. Everything else was fine, but I do not understand the billing surcharges or charges.CYNTHIA P.

Ensure windshield is cleaned properly, it was covered in bugs & very dirty. I spent 15 minutes cleaning it before leaving location as it was a long distance move out of province. this was my first experience with a U-Haul trailer. We were surprised as to how nicely it towed behind my van. And, it was easy to steer when backing up. My only regret was not renting the 5 foot size instead of the 4 foot size so as to avoid stooping to enter the trailer, I will definitely consider renting again instead of using a big luggage rack on my van.JULIE M.

The truck was too large. The upgrade was not an upgrade, it was an expensive dead-head to Vancouver where the truck cold be rented to return to Calgary. I wanted a smaller vehicle and the upgrade cost me $120 extra for gas and a more expensive insurance coverage and was slower. This benefited U-Haul, not me.Deborah H.

Was pouting like a petulant child the duration of the interaction - thought he was either going to cry or throw a tantrum -only street parking available. -vehicle tpms kept warning of low pressure in one of the tires.Gurbir G.

There was no truck inspection at pick up, was just handed the keys and told to find truck, which had some damages I could see. I reserved a dolly for my move but on the day was told â€˜first come, first serve' which kinda defeats the purpose of reservation in the first place. They would not tell me which other location had dollies available, I had to spend an extra hour on hold with other locations looking for a dolly.Lloyd M.
I will look for another company inthe future, because of your website. I received a phone call the day before I was to get my rental, that there was a mechanical issue and I would have go to a different location. I had a hard time connecting with that location. When I went to pick up my rental it was not at the new location plus it was in an industrial location where I did not feel safe. I then had to go to the original location to get thei van and barely made it there in time. The van I rented had dry wall debris in the back and garbage and a contract in the drivers cab. When I returned the vehicle the owner accused me of returning the van dirty and made me sweep it out twice. I told him I cleaned it when I unloaded and he said it was my debris and made me sweep it again. I found his customer service unacceptable! I rent vans 4-5 times a year for my work and I will be looking to rent else where😠😞.Donalee M.

When I arrived, my 20 truck was not there because it was overridden by someone booking through the internet and I had booked over the phone. I even went to the location and confirmed the day before and they said it was there. I got a smaller truck, but then there were no free kilometres because now I had to drive twice to the location instead of once because of the side. When I brough the truck back and only drove 14 kilometres, the guy asked me to put 5 litres in, which is quite expensive for just 14 kilometres. Thanks.Roland M.
