Fuel tank was suppose to be full. I fueled up at end of trip and put 12.497 litres in. I travelled 68 kilometres . That works out to be 18.37 Litres per 100 kilometers which is really bad fuel economy or the tank wasn't full. Also requested a regular cargo van because I wanted to park under ground. Instead when I arrive they have an excuse about how the van was broken down and replaced it with a cube van. So I had to carry everything out to the street. not happy.
Andrew DThe new agent at the location was very incompetent. He asked for my name 4 times and still couldn’t find my reservation. I spelt my name for him twice before (while on the phone with your head office) finally spelt it right and found it.

Cameron BMy latest experience was great. Both pick up and drop off were quick and easy. In previous u-haul rentals I remember waiting as much as half an hour for a pick up, so I was pleasantly surprised at how quick it was this time. The tank wasn't quite full when I pick up the rental. I'm sure the attendant would have topped it up for me if I had asked, but I wasn't terribly concerned over ~$8. I'd love it if the Kensington location carried one of the trailer options. I rent trailers more than vehicles.
Emanuel LWas told the system was down when I brought truck back. Have two additional charges and no explanation or detailed receipt explaining why I have been charged additional $91 and $82, on top of the initial $62 charge on a one day van rental.

Robert DTruck was clean and in good condition overall but drove at lower speeds in wobbly manner, I drew that to the attention of the friendly and efficient agent. Automated email notified me of a receipt, but repeated attempts clicking on the hyperlink provided did not open anything. A message to noreply@uhaul.com requesting a receipt resulted in a delivery failure notice. I would actually like a receipt in PDF form please. Compliments to friendly and efficient agent.

Trista GPeople were great, process was smooth, gear was good - everything I like about UHaul. This company was made to move. Nobody else comes close. But the mechanical condition of UHaul trucks is always weak, and always has been. Steering often loose, back sliding doors don't work well, etc.

Marlene KI was erroneously told by a friend that I could drop off at any location. I first tried dropping off downtown 9th avenue. This location was the worst customer experience I’ve had in canada to date. Staff didn’t acknowledge me upon entry or at all. This was stark contrast to my experience once I reached Kensington. Lovely gang of helpful individuals. I felt seen and heard.
Liam RThe problem was NOT the location but the UHaul website. The staff at thge location was courteous and tried to help but they couldn't check me in because the system (website, platform) was down. It was not an issue o the location but an UHaul issue. There was also a problem with the app because it didn't allow me to complete a self check-in. Tried calling an 800 number and spent more than 20 minutes on hold but couldn't talk to anyone. After 45 minutes the website started working again but the while issue affected my moving plans.
Bernardo GI initially booked the U-Haul from downtown Calgary location. Later got to know I can't pick it from there so the location was changed. I had to take Uber to reach that place causing additional expenses. Later when I reached to the new location, I was told there is no vehicle available. We waited for a long time before a van was given to me. This wasted 1 hour of the elevator booking time I had in the building I was moving in. Had to penalty to pay 100$ penalty to get more time with the elevator and also had to pay more money to the helpers I had hired. Really frustrated will the over all service from uhal as it caused me significant financial loss. My experience will be shared on Google reviews as well so that people are aware

Josh WPick up and drop off was easy. They didn't have the truck I wanted, so they gave me the next size up for the same price. But....later in the day the battery died, and it wouldn't start. I lost about 75 minutes waiting for the tow truck to come to boost it.
Kevin HOver all I had a great Experience, the staff were excellent and the van was in good working order. The only area of improvement I could suggest, is prior to the customer collecting the van, cleaning of sideview mirror would be a great benefit.

Silva NThe service is way too expensive, maybe you should consider making new short term rental policies. This is unfair to have to rent a vehicle for 2 hrs and pay $90. There should be a better renting scheme. This is not okay. Thanks
Arham RFirst time and last time I rented from u haul. I booked it to move to a town 100 km awa at first one way. The system online offered me to save $70 if I bring the vehicle back. I accepted. All emails indicated where to pick it up and where to drop it off after. Yet they out allowed mileage for only one way so at the end they charged me extra 97$. Total scam! I called customer service and was told some manager will call me to solve it. Never did! These people are crooks. Better borrow a truck from a friend or a van . Never again!

Philip BVan was quite dirty inside with a severely cracked windshield and a damaged rear bumper, but otherwise satisfied with it. It begs the question, if damage is done to the vehicle and the renter has to pay for the damage, do the repairs not actually get done to the vehicle? Not sure if that makes sense to me, otherwise what is the renter paying for? Also I would’ve liked to have been able to pick the van up from the originally requested location as the website said it was available there. Not sure why that wasn’t able to be provided since it was supposed to be available.
