Gregory VReally appreciated our experience with U-Haul. The guys at Kraken auto in Kensington were amazing and so nice. As well, Kirsty was super nice when I brought the truck in, and everyone was very friendly on the phone when I needed any assistance. My only issue was that I filled up the truck with $150 worth of fuel and didn’t use all that much. Kirsty said that a manager might be able to help with that though. Overall, an excellent experience and would definitely use them again!!

TERRY W- the truck had shocks done. wheel needed to be balance in the front, also wheel alignment as well. lot of vibration at 50 miles an hour. to much play in the steering. would not take this truck out of town. transmission working to hard. poor shifting. brakes are very soft, have to really put your foot down to stop. the gas pedal is to close to the plastic housing were cover leaves a lip, where your shoe catches the lip and not the gas pedal. impeding. this is a factory problem, but it suck very much. give ford grif on this. the driver seat suck big time as well. a better quality seat, with adjustment electric position, or air ride seat. this is a major problem. if you want people to come back to use your trucks, stop with cheap seats. ride is very important. the back door slide poorly, not smooth at all. the inside floor was not clean at all. this really pissed me the most. some one could have clean it. the afternoon old guy not happy to be there, customer service very poor. morning young guy was happy great to see. i use to build semi trucks so i give you my view. there should be a person taking these trucks for test drive. improvement to key area , so stop with cheap basic truck and focus key upgrade. wrong person in purchasing . better than GMC or Chevy trucks
bruno pOnly one wish: need to synchronize the open office time and ability to book a track. For example I've booked the track for 8 am, but office opens at 9, and there are no system for self checkin. Thank you for online support I resolved the problem.

Wojciech RFor the second time renting a uhaul from this location I ordered a dolly, which the location did not have. They had no ability to check other locations for a dolly, and could help in no way. This was a major inconvenient, and disrupted an already busy day. We will not be returning
Sean DTruck had a really bad front end shaking at highway speed when loaded, check engine light was also on.
Allison CMy only comment is we were told to fill the gas up. It was at full when received. We drove a total of 6 kilometers and the gas cost $25.00 to top up, which does not seem accurate.

MICHAEL BThe only thing that has me a little troubled is getting 2 movers to help for a few hours. The cost was based on 2 hours which is what the time was that they worked but I paid for 3 hours for 2 helpers. Who can I talk to about that? Thanks in advance.
Gary MMake the estimate for mileage more accurate. What I ended up paying was over $50 More then the estimate and it was very disappointing to see that. $80 charge for mileage is crazy
Makaela CI had to store items overnight in the U-Haul and was told they all come with a lock and key. Neither myself nor the two big strong men helping me could get the lock to work.

Thomas BI am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the condition of the U-Haul truck I recently rented. During our move, we made a brief stop on the side of the highway to use the restroom. When we returned, the truck would not start. After waiting for assistance, it was discovered that the battery terminals had come loose — a basic maintenance issue that clearly should have been addressed before the vehicle was rented out. As a result, we were stranded on a remote highway for nearly two hours, waiting for a mechanic to arrive, identify the issue, and fix it. This was a highly stressful and unsafe situation, especially given the isolated location. Due to this delay, I missed a scheduled ferry, which not only caused significant disruption to my plans but also resulted in financial losses When I rent a vehicle — especially from a company with the reputation of U-Haul — I expect it to be properly inspected, safe, and fully operational. Unfortunately, that was not the case, and the lack of proper vehicle preparation caused real consequences for me. I am therefore requesting a partial refund or credit to compensate for the inconvenience, time lost, and financial impact of this incident. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

Cyril PFuel tank was suppose to be full. I fueled up at end of trip and put 12.497 litres in. I travelled 68 kilometres . That works out to be 18.37 Litres per 100 kilometers which is really bad fuel economy or the tank wasn't full. Also requested a regular cargo van because I wanted to park under ground. Instead when I arrive they have an excuse about how the van was broken down and replaced it with a cube van. So I had to carry everything out to the street. not happy.
Andrew DThe new agent at the location was very incompetent. He asked for my name 4 times and still couldn’t find my reservation. I spelt my name for him twice before (while on the phone with your head office) finally spelt it right and found it.

Cameron BMy latest experience was great. Both pick up and drop off were quick and easy. In previous u-haul rentals I remember waiting as much as half an hour for a pick up, so I was pleasantly surprised at how quick it was this time. The tank wasn't quite full when I pick up the rental. I'm sure the attendant would have topped it up for me if I had asked, but I wasn't terribly concerned over ~$8. I'd love it if the Kensington location carried one of the trailer options. I rent trailers more than vehicles.
Emanuel LWas told the system was down when I brought truck back. Have two additional charges and no explanation or detailed receipt explaining why I have been charged additional $91 and $82, on top of the initial $62 charge on a one day van rental.

Robert DTruck was clean and in good condition overall but drove at lower speeds in wobbly manner, I drew that to the attention of the friendly and efficient agent. Automated email notified me of a receipt, but repeated attempts clicking on the hyperlink provided did not open anything. A message to noreply@uhaul.com requesting a receipt resulted in a delivery failure notice. I would actually like a receipt in PDF form please. Compliments to friendly and efficient agent.
