RICHARD HWe were charged for a lost key that was not lost. When we returned the u-haul van, the key was given to the gentleman at the counter. There was only 1 key given at pick up and 1 key was returned at drop off. Unable to reach the location to discuss the error and unable to leave a message. The corporate help line could only create a complaint and create a complaint.

PAULA BIf you arrive with low expectations for customer service and don’t mind being on the receiving end of Eddie’s condescending tone and profanity-laced remarks, you’ll do just fine renting from this company. However, if respectful communication and basic professionalism are important to you, you may want to consider another U-Haul provider.
JOHN ROne of the headlights on the truck I rented didn’t work, and I didn’t realize it until it got dark. We were out near the lake in North Carolina, and it was pitch black. By the time we noticed, the location was closed and there was nothing we could do. We had to drive a separate vehicle in front of the truck just to safely see the road. That’s extremely unsafe, and it should’ve been caught during your pre-check. I’m requesting compensation for this dangerous and stressful experience. Please inspect your trucks more thoroughly in the future.
