Staff was fantastic!
JULIE SI do not think what I was charged for gas is fair. I added gas according to the guide in the pamphlet, but I was still charged extra. The fuel gauge in the truck is not easy to accurately read, so I am not sure how the call could be made to charge me extra. The trucks should be dispatched with a full tank, so it is easy for the customer to refill before returning.
Tyler GGoogle review will be completed. The pickup experience was terrible. The person on the lot said nothing to me except good morning, but only after I said good morning. It would have been nice if he could have pointed me in the right direction. I figured out that there was an online way to pick up the equipment. As I went through that horrible website/app, other customers arrived, and I had to tell them where to begin. About 20 minutes after I started the online pick-up process, a large gathering of customers stood waiting, and someone inside the building opened the door. No questions, no greeting, didn't ask who arrived first. No one said a thing except my husband. Three or four customers had gone inside when I realized what was happening. By then, I was nearly finished with the online pickup, or so I thought. Finally, after too long, I reached out to someone inside (or tried to). I stood in line for 10 minutes. I reached out to an online chat and finished my pickup process. This was a waste of time and was way too frustrating.
Michael MQuite understaffed; the gentle one there was quite pleasant and proficient. But he was only one person and the line ran to the door for the entire hour. I was there to get my truck. Communication overall at U-Haul seems to be lacking. I was going to haul a trailer to Lasvegas from Denver and they misplaced the trailer. Two days before I was to pick the truck up in Fort Collins, I was told that the truck would be in Loveland. I called and said that was unsatisfactory or that I would want credit for 60 miles worth of travel that I would’ve had to do to pick up that truck. The day before pick up, they said there was one in Fort Collins. That said, the truck ran great and the trip was smooth

Christopher HEven with a line out the door on a busy morning, the staff was patient, helpful and courteous to everyone. They even went above and beyond to help us find the four-pin wiring hidden in our car after we panicked and were convinced we wouldn’t be able to use the trailer for our move, which would have been a nightmare to realize day of. Great and efficient team.

VICTOR FLanes marked for return of trucks. Staff outside directing you where to pull in. Staff ready with handheld devices to expedite return of vehicle and equipment. ( oh never did get any blankets or handtruck at pickup) said THEY will take care of not receiving extra items.

DEREK ZUhaul is doing a great job making improvements to their trailers. Was impressed by how easy it is becoming to connect the trailer and the safety gear including the retractable cables, and the trailer brakes. The people at Kings Auto were also very knowledgeable and made the experience very nice at both pick up and drop off. Thank you!

TUCKER BIt usually takes forever to pick up...not here! They were fast and friendly. Also, my movers left 2 full length mirrors in the truck and they called me to let me know they had them and held them until I could pick them up. A+ service!

AARON SExcellent customer service explaining everything that I needed to do. He walked us out to the truck and together we verified that it was clean. The tires looked great. Everything was ready to go which was a huge relief. Our Uhaul guy also showed us, and put on our receipt, how much gas we were getting which had to be the same amount back. We got the biggest truck, the 26 Footer. It looks scary to drive but it was actually easy. The AC was strong which was very helpful in the hot weather! 3 people can sit in the cab if needed. You might want to practice turns in a parking lot first. We had a 10 x 20 storage unit, which fit the truck well. We survived and did great. BONNIE KThe check engine light was on the entire time. There was old candy pieces under the seats. We returned the vehicle with the mileage highlighted on our paper work but then was charged extra for not filling the tank enough. When I contacted U-Haul they said the original party we picked the truck up at must of given us the incorrect level to fill the truck. It didn’t matter that we had paperwork proving what we were told, we were charged another $76 and there was nothing we could do about it. Seriously annoyed with U-Haul. Just a company that points fingers but doesn’t fix the problem or stand by their word. When renting from them just filter in a couple extra $100’s, know the truck will be a little below average, and that you may get screwed. Once you do that it’s easier to rent from them.

AMBER MMain complaint is with the app and a lack of follow thru with a precall. Registering on site rather than in advance was stressful, took an hour to register on site with the poor data in that location and the app not accepting my log in information. App crashed during drop off too and i wasn’t able to complete my drop off data input because of it - rental disappeared on my account temporarily.
