Make the local phone number NOT roll to the national call center because they are completely useless answering questions that only the local business can address. Additionally, they have NO WAY to contact them on your behalf. Although your online tools are fine, there are simply some things only the local office can answer.Edwin H.

Upon arrival to pick up trailer I was informed the appliance dolly I reserved/rented was not available. I had to drive across town to another uhaul location to get the dolly and again to drop off.Dan B.

Horrible experience. Was supposed to have a 26 ft truck, went to pick it up and was told it was not available. Spoke to someone named Mike who said he was going to try to find one. Called back and said he found one in Lincoln that I could go pick up which would require me to drive from Omaha which is just under and hour drive. Asked him if he could get it brought to Omaha and was told Uhaul does not have people to do that. Ended up having to drive to council bluffs to pick up a 20ft truck and two trailers. After paying for everything we were told to wait outside and someone would come out to get trucks pulled around. After about 15 minutes we had to go back inside and ask them to give us the keys because nobody came outside to help us. And to top it all off I had to ask Mike about getting a discount due to an error on Uhauls end. Mike said The reason I didn't get a 26ft truck, like I had reserved, was because the previous user hadn't returned it yet. I get you can't control that part, but how do you not have a back up plan? And the fact that I had to be the one to reach out and find out where my reserved truck was is ridiculous. Mike never even mentioned anything about a discount until I brought it up. And I got a whopping 50 dollars off after I was supposed to pick up a 26ft truck in Omaha at 9:30 am, ended up having to completely change my reservation because all of the sudden there were no 26ft trucks available even though that's what I reserved, I had to drive to council bluffs, where the service was pretty poor, and by the time I finally made it home and could pack it was 12:30. Mike didn't seem to be working to hard to figure out a solution and was not helpful and apologetic at all. To him it seemed like a normal thing and didn't care about it. I guess what I'm getting at is how do you not have back up plans when a reservation gets messed up? And why was I the one that had to call to find out about all this? And a whopping 50 dollars off? Ultimately it worked out but the customer service was horrible. Mike didn't work very hard on a solution and never even offered to work out a deal. So next time we move, I will do my best to avoid Uhaul. Pretty pathetic experience all aroundPAYDEN M.
