Only one person available to work with, had to stand in line several minutes before getting started, that same person did all of the hookups while others were waiting.

We were given the wrong truck. The paperwork did not match the license plate. We were stopped in Arizona because the plate came back as invalid. We were detained for about an hour and had to open the truck for the officer. It was a nerve wracking experience. I subsequently called the uhaul main number to report what had happened. I spoke to the manager who assured me that he would email me a report stating that we had received the wrong truck and give the correct license number. We never received an email. Thankfully we were not stopped again.

Kong's was great. Uhaul was terrible. Reservation months in advance made no difference. Was going to be forced to drive an hour to pick it up. Had to scramble on our end and make changes.

I always rent for five days and get a flat price, but for some reason this rental came for only 3 days and I got charged an extra $40. I'm not happy about this and might not use Uhaul because of it again

Upon rental of 15' truck at 'Kings Auto Cntr", realized next day the need for a 20' truck instead, contacted U-Haul immediately on Sunday morning prior to pickup of 15' truck to switch to bigger truck, due to 'Kings' being closed on Sunday, we were redirected to U-Haul at different location 'Huntington Hills, 6100 S. College', this became a disaster to switch over as the funds were held on credit card from prior rental truck, we didn't have xtra funds to pay for new rental, had really hoped U-Haul would have allowed the difference owed in fees for switch to 20' truck from other U-Haul entity of fees paid since only switching to bigger truck, we were not happy U-Haul company was unable to allow difference in payment as they are all under same corporate umbrella, due to this long process on Sunday morning and no control of accepting payment difference, we had no choice but to stay with 15' truck and were delayed all morning in utilizing truck, had to drive back to 'Kings Auto Cntr' and pickup truck which by that time was near 12:00pm instead of 9:30am pickup, we hope in future U-Haul Corporation can work with customers who have paid partial on rental and accept difference owed instead of new full payment, we have used U-Haul rentals in the past and have never had this type of situation occur, we understand there is a remaining balance owed and would request late fee of $30 be waived due to process out of our control and delay start of rental time, I was very glad we had not dropped off key for 15' truck at 'Kings Auto Cntr' drop box or we would of not been able to move at all on Sunday.

The size trailer I had reserved over ONE WEEK earlier was not available when I arrived on the date and time indicated. When I elected to take a smaller trailer I commented the tires did not look very good and was told "Oh they will be fine". We made it a little over HALF WAY before a tire blew. We then waited alone side the highway for 3 1/2 HOURS for a service company to show up and replace the tire. TWO road service companies told me they replace blown U Haul tires several time each week and that U-Haul's policy seems to be replace the blow outs rather than replace the badly worn or old tires.

Kings Auto did fine... Prompt service, ready to help as soon as I got there. The U-Haul trailer I got was old and tired, well past retirement age for a first rate company. Cushions were sagging, trailer dented from a million miles, door rough, squeaky, and rusted. I am quick to not blame Kings, though.

Back lot had pot holes filled with water from recent rain. Appeared 2-3 businesses were being operated form this location....very shady looking to me and my daughter.
