We were charged a refueling fee because they said we brought truck back with 1/8 of a tank. It was between 3/8 and 1/4 when we picked it up. When I dropped the truck off I had refueled to just above 3/8 of a tank. I called and explained what we did for fueling and they credited me back for the fueling charge. The gentleman handling our pickup was efficient and professional. The truck's windshield and door windows were really dirty, it would have been a nice touch to clean them prior to pickup. The truck itself shimmied when the brakes were applied. It made for a pretty uncomfortable braking experience.Edward S.
The 1st van had little gas in it and the low tire air pressure alert was in. The gas should have been full or an explanation of why not on website. The tire pressure alert could have been anything from just air to a slow leak from a nail. Neither of which is acceptable and indicative of little to no maintenance. Second vehicle given to me had no windshield wiper fluid in it and a windshield filthy with bug kill. Again, indicative of poor vehicle maintenance and added time for the customer to deal with.Leigh P.

The drop off was outside an auto body shop. No U-Haul signs. Had to find an employee (of the body shop) to confirm that it was the right place. No good parking - just parked it half on the street and half in a driveway and handed keys off to the body shop employee - could have been anybody not even connected with U-Haul. The guy had clue so I felt it was okay, but it just seemed odd. There were no other U-Haul vehicles in front of the body shop. In fact, I first parked at the wrong business because they had a bunch of U-Haul trucks, but that was because they had rented them and were using them to haul stuff from their warehouse.John B.

When I went to pick up my reservation after they already switched it on me in the morning of what we reserved was not there I had to go with something else and it ended up being in an enclosed trailer which intern took us longer having to stop to make sure stuff was not moving around and needed an extra day and still got charged for it have not got my reservation guarantee back eitherAlice S.

Please look at your records you'll see that on Wednesday Feb 2nd-2022 your company sent me on a wild goose chase after they refused to let me use a car-dolly at the previously agreed upon location. I then had to drive 2 extra hours to arrive at the very distant Santa Rosa location. * Note: It wasn't their fault..it was your company and the dispatching systems fault. Great guyâ€”helped me with a smooth and easy drop off but I got charged an extra $15 saying the gas wasn't filled to where it needed to be. I have a photo of the gas tank showing exactly where it was when I picked it upâ€”practically on Empty and while I was putting gas I double checked the line on the meter. I have the $35 gas station transaction as proof that I pumped just minutes before dropping it off. I kept pumping the gas pump to be sure. Just sayingâ€¦Michelle G.

This store is about 1 mile from the main Uhaul location in Santa Rosa. I mistakenly went to the other location first. Both are on Santa Rosa Avenue. I didn't really pick up on the â€œKings Tireâ€ part of the order. I saw Santa Rosa Ave and clicked on that. Nothing was wrong and the place was fine. I did end up wasting time, but that's on me. If there is a way to better distinguish the two dealerships that'd be nice. The main uhaul place is set up a bit better for customers.JASON C.

All the uhaul equipment is just piled up outside unlocked. I called Sunday and no one picked up, even though the Google Maps hours said I was calling during business hours, the voice-mail was full. I went Monday at my scheduled pickup time and the office was empty, no one picked up the phone so I just took a trailer. What kind of operation is this.Wayne H.

As usual UHaul corporate failed by sending me to a location that did not have the truck I reserved and they â€œguaranteedâ€ would be there. I had to walk 2 miles in the dark to a different location where the actual franchisee was helpful and efficient. Adding salt to the wound, the new location is where my original reservation was from, but the SF corp office called me and changed my reservation to another franchisee who doesn't even carry that size truck! Made an appointment to pick up on Sunday. When I got there for my appointment the trailer I reserved was not avaliable. I had to rent a different trailer and still haven't gotten refund from first reservation.SEAN S.

While I went into using U-Haul with a bit of wariness, due to them not guaranteeing where the truck might be for pick up, once I got the message from them saying it would be ready and it was nearby the house I was loading, it all seemed "easy-peasy" after that. We were in and out quickly and could start the task of loading. The truck was a newer model, and was the perfect size for my load. It was clean and comfortable and drove really easily. The trip from Santa Rosa, CA to Oregon City, OR, while not a joy, was as easy as it possibly could have been.Mark L.
Why offer mobile check in for trailers if I have to go into the store anyway? I went through the whole process in my phone, then again at the desk. I hope I wasn't charged twice. Also the woman at the front desk was not very pleasant. She seemed irritated when I questioned why the trailer in the "check for damage" photos was not the trailer I was renting. She offered me some excuse like maybe some work had been done and the photos weren't updated (photo on the side was totally different) and then just told me to dispute each photo. I had to go through the process twice because the website crashed. Really irritating experience.Amanda B.

Customer service was cold, and downright rude at some times. The guy assisting me with Attaching the trailer to my vehicle was unhelpful with the app and somewhat belligerent. I returned the trailer after hours and tried to place it in the location I was told to earlier that morning, but the spaces were all full. I placed the trailer just a few hundred feet from that location in a spot that was open. The next day I was charged an additional day. They obviously didn't look for the trailer on their own lot before deciding to charge me extra. Would not rent from this location again.PAUL E.
Kings Tire was great. Uhaul was horrible. My reservation had got changed to a different size truck and different location. When I showed up they had nothing for me. Had to fight to get another truck somewhere else in town. Once I finally got a truck the truck leaked and all my boxes got soaking wet and fell apart. Would never recommend anyone hassle with uhaul. To start with, the person behind the desk was like a prison door. She clearly had no interest in being there and providing a good customer service experience, Secondly, I was clearly given a van that had a nail in one of its tires.I didn't notice it when I picked it up unfortunately. Of course, the tire burst once I hit the road. When I finally managed to get a hold of RoadSide Assistance, it took close to 4 hours for them to send someone to change the tire. This is not even close to decent service. This is appalling service. I will never rent a Uhaul van again. I never even got a call apologizing for the wait or anything. Unbelievable...Florence R.

Hard to get into the driveway, the trucks are parked so close to each other that it's impossible to walk around and examine the vehicles and I had to have the lot guy drive it out. The truck had lots of visible damage, the counter staff was not courteous, the truck I ordered wasn't available and they gave me a bigger one, which I didn't want one that big (too hard to maneuver).Lisa D.
