I have rented numerous times from UHAUL. This was horrendous. One very slow, unmotivated staff member to handle all appointments. I arrived 15 minutes early, and was not even at the counter for 30 more minutes, completed all payment and paperwork, then I was told to wait until he checked in the customer behind me before he could help me hook up the trailer. The situation was tense with another customer as I advocated to get my trailer hooked up. There were at least 7 people in line after I left. One staff member. No apologies. No sense of urgency. He mumbled and was difficult to understand. Not the right person to be at the counter. Also, might've been the nastiest Uhaul I have ever been in.

Putting aside the dirt, leaves, and dust in the back and cab of the truck, this location was perhaps the most concerning customer experience I've ever had, at any business. At first glance, it's an unattended store. Take a closer look, and it's operated by what appears to be a 14 year old child, with nothing indicating association with the business. The vehicle I had requested was blocked in by other vehicles, so I was moved to a different option. The vehicle itself was overly touchy on acceleration, and each time the brakes were necessary, I sent a prayer upward to the big guy to make sure I stopped. Substantial outside dents, rough bearings, loud fan belts, loose weather stripping, shaking mirrors, unknown loose parts in and around the cabin really dialed in the "150,000 mile rental vehicle" feel that you really want. At pickup, other requested equipment was not available (appliance dolly). I was told to go to another nearby location, which had two options in poor condition. Broken straps, dirt, and failing welds - all things rental. Because of these missing and damaged components, I was told I'd be given a lower rate, which ended up not happening. In fact, I received an additional fee for returning the dolly to my truck pickup location (something I was told would be fine). Upon return, the store location was occupied by what I gathered to be friends of the employees handling return. Again, no uniforms, no attempt at clarifying who would be handling the return. Due to my own error, about 1/8 of a tank of gas was used and not refilled. I realized this, and asked the person I assumed to be the employee if I could take it to get gas up to the pickup level, which was met with "Nah, bro, you're all good man". I assumed this meant "No need to fill up, however it is, is fine". I was charged $200 dollars total, including nearly $100 in fuel costs, for 6 gallons of fuel (more than I used). Somewhat of a gamble visiting somewhere with a 1.5 star rating, but I'd avoid this location and go anywhere else within 5 miles of it.
Maxwell CPretty crowded and a little difficult to get the truck in, but they were very helpful on the phone and allowed me to drop off the truck the same day I rented it, after hours. So that meant I should be charged for one day of use—the 22nd of July, 2026.
Richard OFor the size of the location they did great.
Harry Tcheck-in was a little odd, but overall fine.
