Improve the online check-in/pickup procedure. It didn't work. If there hadn't been anyone in the store to help, then I would have been in trouble. As a result, I was delayed by 45 minutes getting my day started.

On-site people were very nice and helpful. They did exactly what they promised. On-line reservations and equipment return were really screwed up and not user friendly. Avoid uhaul.com if you can.

You can give me a discount for my troubles and wasted time. I arrived to the Kinston pawn shop at my scheduled self pick up time of 1145 pm. The U-Haul app was not working so I used the browser, and no agents were online to help. I could not get into my van without the code and no one was there to give it to me. I called customer service in which the representative put me on a forever hold and I had to hang up and call back again. I was stranded for thirty minutes in downtown Kinston past midnight. The second representative I spoke to admitted to me all of this was unacceptable and the wait time was ridiculous. She herself could not even get ahold of an agent. No agents were online for a while and then the agent that called to confirm identification hung up on my boyfriend which the other representative also said was unacceptable. The representative also said that your self pick up service was not great but should never take that long. I would like a reimbursement for my troubles or I will never use this service again. Kinston North Carolina is known for its crime rate and I as a young female was stranded there for over 30 minutes because of uhauls neglect. I did not feel safe, was not given an apology, and spent $230 to be treated like a non paying customer.

Check back of truck better there was broken glass in trailer of truck. No seal was on the dolly but dolly wasn't used nor was the furniture pads plus I didn't request the pads. They came with truck.

Not everyone there can help you with the U-Haul, or maybe just didn't want to help? They kept telling me I had to wait for the one guy to help, but he was busy with the other side of the business. Finally one nice young man figured it out and got me on my way. Idk how long I would have had to wait on the original guy if the second guy hadn't helped. They were very polite just frustrated that it was only left up to one employee to take care of the U-Haul part of the business.

I rented an auto transport. It took almost 20 min. For the transaction to go through. Once I was able to hook the trailer to my truck. The person inside never came out to assist me. It wasn't until I got the car put on the trailer that everything began. I was making a 300 mile 5hr trip. It took me over 10 hrs because the ratchets for the straps that secure the car kept coming loose, I had to stop every 20 miles to tighten the straps. The trip was a disaster. I ended up having a frayed wire that kept disconnecting. So in the middle of the night the trailer would go dark. When I call uhaul. It takes 45 min to get through to someone.

Have the location manager check over equipment before it is picked up. Trailer I rented had damaged wiring plug, it was cut off, also the brake fluid cap was missing causing fluid to get on trailer and on tailgate of my truck. Very disappointed in my transaction.

I showed up and was promptly greeted by the staff. I explained I was returning the tow dolly and informed them about the lights. To address the situation you had to get the manager but it was a very short wait and he instructed me on how to put in a claim with UHaul to try and resolute situation. The manager came outside with me so I can show him the lights and he saw they didn't work and he noted it on my return for the regional manager to get it fixed. He helped me unattach it from my truck and he put it away from the other tow Dolly's so it wouldn't be used. If there was more than five stars ?? I definitely would.
