The car dolly was in really bad shape I didn't even feel comfortable using it. The service was super slow and rude. I had to pay $75 for one day. I will never rent from kinston pawn again

I rented an auto transport. It took almost 20 min. For the transaction to go through. Once I was able to hook the trailer to my truck. The person inside never came out to assist me. It wasn't until I got the car put on the trailer that everything began. I was making a 300 mile 5hr trip. It took me over 10 hrs because the ratchets for the straps that secure the car kept coming loose, I had to stop every 20 miles to tighten the straps. The trip was a disaster. I ended up having a frayed wire that kept disconnecting. So in the middle of the night the trailer would go dark. When I call uhaul. It takes 45 min to get through to someone.

Have the location manager check over equipment before it is picked up. Trailer I rented had damaged wiring plug, it was cut off, also the brake fluid cap was missing causing fluid to get on trailer and on tailgate of my truck. Very disappointed in my transaction.

Pawn shop kept waiting for 30 minutes

I showed up and was promptly greeted by the staff. I explained I was returning the tow dolly and informed them about the lights. To address the situation you had to get the manager but it was a very short wait and he instructed me on how to put in a claim with UHaul to try and resolute situation. The manager came outside with me so I can show him the lights and he saw they didn’t work and he noted it on my return for the regional manager to get it fixed. He helped me unattach it from my truck and he put it away from the other tow Dolly’s so it wouldn’t be used. If there was more than five stars ?? I definitely would.

I let the young man there hook up the car hauler for me because i am old and the trailer is heavy. He pleasantly done so,but when loading the vehicle to be hauled,I found that he had not done it correctly and the trailer became a teeter totter. NOT happy,and created a real problem

Call customer if the vehicle is not available so they don’t drive an hour and a half to pick up the truck only to find out it’s not available. After the reservation was confirmed the night before. A simple phone call would have avoided that less than average experience.
