i was going to pay cash but the attendant said i would need to leave a credit card on file and pay cash after completing the trip..i told him that there was no funds on the credit card and he said that would be fine because they would not use it..when i went to pay after the trip they said it was already paid for on the card

This location was not in a safe place and looked very sketchy. The man working seemed to know a little bit of what he was doing, but he still could not figure out how to solve the problem. He later billed me a wrongful destination bill, which was completely wrong.

The knights inn location leaves a lot to be desired. I was asked NOT to come between 9am and 1100 am with no explanation. Which meant I had to be there by 8 am because I could not wait till 11 am to pick up car hauler.

This was an alternate location as my first choice did not have the truck ready. Customer service handled the situation well and found a different truck. Unfortunately the truck was further from my home. When I arrived I did not feel safe nor did I want my kid and fiancé there longer than we had to be. This location is at a rundown hotel in a rough part of town. When I told the man at the counter that my milage rate was not what I was told he said it was a good deal and would not change it. Somehow $14 in insurance was added to my bill as well. I do not recall requesting it. I did not see this until after I was billed so a case has been created. The appliance hand truck was dirty with gum or something of the sort stuck to the wheel along with whatever dirt it had been pulled through. The desk guy gave me a putty knife to scrape it off. Though I am fully capable I find it odd the the customer is cleaning the equipment. The blankets given to me were dirty as well. The interior of the truck was filthy and the drivers seatbelt would not move freely. I would not go back to this location if the truck were free. Disappointed with uhaul.

I discovered a frayed strap on the wheel tie downs and reported it before I used the car transport. It wasn't bad enough to render it unusable, but should be replaced. I hope U-Haul replaces it before it rents it again.

Knights Inn is a questionable location, with various calls for service to the local police department due to patrons of the establishment. Be careful. Also, my appointment for self-pick up at another location, did not work properly (U-haul application issues). My time and day was then out of schedule due to this error, and no mention of assistance or making this wrong, right was discussed by U-haul. Disappointed in the process and no offer for assistance.

The guy who I rented the uhal from told me it was a hundred dollar plus 51 dollars. I brought the truck back fill it with gas and he only gives me 41.70 and couldn't explain why I wasn't getting my deposit back. I have called customer service and they kept sending me to other departments, so who can I speak with to understand my situation.

I chose to rent using the mobile app. When I tried to pick up the truck, the app said there was no equipment assigned to the rental order. The U-Haul rental facility was a sketchy motel next to a strip club that did not make me feel comfortable. I tried to call the 24-hour assistance number and got a voicemail saying the assistance operator was on vacation. The voicemail gave me a name and number of a manager that also did not answer the phone when I called. I had to wake up the operator of the U-Haul rental facility to get him to assign the truck to my order. After I went through the online pickup process, I noticed that the truck was not cleaned prior to my use. There were used tissues in the dashboard and the cargo area was not swept. Totally unsatisfied by this experience.

Dropping the van and trailer off at Knights Inn was great. Plenty of room to unload the car hauler, plenty of room to turn and park the truck/trailer. The attendant was friendly and helpful.

No knowledge of explaining how you are being charged... No knowledge of the explaning anything ...asked how long I was using truck...gave price5.. Handed me a brochure to read, not disclosing information and took my card...And the business was in a hotel... Scary as hell... Horrible looking people hanging outside and asking for money... Girls hanging outside offering sex... I'm there with my kids...if I really didn't need a truck... I wouldn't have gotten it...i came from out of town just to get it... No trucks available any where but there with in 150miles... Now I know why... I shouldn't have done business there...not happy with my experience... Unprofessional- unknowledgeable of services and pricing...i dont reccomend this location...

When I got there to pickup the truck, no one was in the office. When someone finally showed up there internet wasn't working. I didn't leave that place until a quarter to 11am. My pickup was a schedule for 9:30am. Not a happy camper

The area around was not appealing at all. And the needle for the gas was just barely moved from the point that I needed to be refilled and in the contract it was marked a whole 1/4 of a tank lower?? I will never return to this location or rent uhaul again. I've had way to many issues.

Had a reservation at 7:30am and the guy refused to go unlock the combination lock to get the key to the truck until 9:00am because he didn’t open his motel doors until 9:00am even though I chose the option to use my phone so he gets mad and tells me next time go somewhere else. But he used a lot of cuss words. This is the second time I had an issue getting a U-Haul from him. He shouldn’t be allowed to do business with U-Haul. Horrible customer service.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! THE SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT BE A REPRESENTATIVE OF U-HAUL IF U-HAUL EVER SENDS ME THERE AGAIN..... I WILL NEVER EVER USE ANY OF YOUR SERVICES AGAIN AND I WILL CALL EVERY MAJOR NEWSPAPER IN COUNTRY AND TELL THEM THE TYPE OF PEOPLE YOU ALLOW TO BE YOUR DEALERS!!! TOTALLY INCOMPETENT!!! A 10 MINUTE RENTAL OF A CARGO TRAILER TOOK OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!! IF YOU ARE EVER SENT TO THIS FACILITY.......RUN.....RUN FORREST.......RUN.......AWAY.....

Difficult to maneuver RV on lot. Called and asked for a tow-dolly, only to arrive and find out that all that was available was an auto-hauler. While this accommodation worked for my need, it was obvious preventive maintenance has not been performed on a routine basis. It was difficult to ratchet and crank, and the dealer was not familiar with its overall operation.

I did the on-line check in, specifically for the "ease and speed " of automated use. However, after being verified on-line by 7-Eleven, the attendant where I was picking up the truck would not give me the key, because he had never done an on-line check in and could not find my information, even though an hour later a manager showed up and pulled up my info immediately. There is no benefit to on-line check in if a human can still waste my time. Not cool.

The location is at a Knights Inn. Don't get your hopes up for an inviting area. But who cares? If you're just dropping off a truck it's great, the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and walked me through the return process just fine. The guy didn't charge me twice or anything like the previous reviews have said and everything was quick and painless with an email confirmation at the end. Plain and simple.

At the pickup location my experience was a nightmare. I gave myself 30 minutes to pickup a trailer. Since I had already done the express check-in and paid in advance. It took much longer. He couldn't find the information I provided online. So I had to give it all again. Told me I must give him a credit card even though I already paid for everything via card. Then, he tells me I owe an additional $32. Even though I chose to pay full amount online. I question what for and he says he doesn't know but I can call U haul to find out. I call the U haul support number and they tell me it's for a deposit. I'll get it back. So I pay it with cash and finish the process. He tells me which trailer is mine and sends me on my way. I hook up the trailer and then my wife asks the gentleman to verify it is hooked up properly. He acts annoyed but does it. It wasn't until I was halfway to Florida that we were reviewing the contract only to find out there was no deposit paid. The $32 was for $5k coverage he added even though I selected the no-fee reimbursement option. So there goes the $32 I was made to believe I would get back. When I went to dropoff at my chosen location. 460 Cheney Hwy Mobil Mart in Titusvillr, FL O discover they are not a U haul location anymore. By far the worst rental experience ever!
