What a great place to rent a UHaul. I was moving my kid into an apartment (from Den to Pitt) and we needed to go buy furniture. Very convenient to IKEA and the folks couldn't have been nicer. Definitely would rent here again if I ever have a need for UHaul in Pittsburgh!Lori W.

Customer service was excellent. The gentleman had the paperwork ready to go. The check in and check out process only lasted a few minutes, which was the result of the gentleman being totally prepared with the correct paperwork. I will use this location for all my future U-Haul rental needs.Beth K.

Nothing!!!! Staff at Knorr's is fantastic! I've rented from here before and every time the experience is top-notch from A to Z. Courteous, professional, friendly, accurate and speedy, the staff are really the shining light that have made me a repeat customer even though there are other locations closer to my home. This particular time I rented a nearly brand new cargo van that only had about 9,000 miles on it. Terrific van!! Really awesome to be in such a new model. Kudos Knorrs!Julie C.

My original reservation was moved to this location and a different truck. I was supposed to get a $50 credit for my reservation being moved but UHAUL didn't let the location know, so I still had to pay full price. We picked up the truck at 8 am and were supposed to return the truck at 10 am the following morning, but I got a call from UHAUL at 10 am that day (two hours after receiving the truck) and received a pretty angry voicemail telling me it was late and I needed to bring it back because I was keeping it from someone else with a reservation. All this back and forth about the reservation I had made weeks before was tacked onto an already stressful moving process and personally I'll avoid UHAUL during busy moving seasons in the future when I can for this reason. Luckily the attendant at this location specifically was really kind, efficient and helpful. I wish I had gotten her name.Nora S.

I would not recommend McDonald Pa- get your truck out of there. I was originally scheduled for a 17 foot truck in Washington PA. That was changed to a 15 foot truck in McDonald PA. No one was at the McDonald PA site at my time of pick up, 9 am. The place was locked up, the truck was there but locked up, no key in lock box. U-Haul corporate could not get a hold of them. So I sat in a lot while U-Haul was able to find me a truck in Carnegie. Significantly out-of-the-way (adding miles) and altered our move timeframe (sorry crew of people helping me). Extremely inconvenient, but the people in Carnegie were fantastic, THEY SAVED OUR DAY. And thank you to the person on the phone that found them. Butâ€¦what the hell is up in McDonald? The head lady moved my original booking to that location. Either McDonald Pa staff was not informed (although they supposedly open at 8 am), or they just don't care by not showing up. Moving is one of life's top stressors, that greatly add to it.dave G.

Windshield wipers fell apart on my passenger side of the window, check them before you take off on a long haul in the rain. Also the power-plug for 12v adapter wasn't functioning, due to it being corroded. Otherwise, that ride was a reliable old truck built to perform the functions of a moving vehicle.Lake M.

I rented a furniture dolly a week prior to pickup. When i showed up to pickup was told they didn't have any at this location and was offered to call other locations to go pick up myself. Additionally, this is the second time of picking a truck up at this location, which is a gas station, and there was minimal gas in the vehicle. When renting a vehicle I don't think the first thing you have to do is put gasoline in the vehicle.Michael C.

They did not have vehicle I ordered. They substituted the vehicle. Although the rate was the same, the insurance cost was higher. And, the air pressure in one of the tires was low and the warning message kept appearing.Sundar V.

In Attention Of The Directors, Managers & Owners Of U-RAUL Companies First, I tried on Tuesday March 1st, 2022 to rent a truck for Sunday March 6th, 2022 at 9am. I asked if I could pay for the truck and then set the mileage! The attendant tells me that I didn't need it, she would just get it right back in the truck! Thursday March 03, 2022 they called me changing the pickup location of the truck, but they would charge a lower mileage price. On Sunday at 8:30 am I went to pick up the truck, everything was closed I waited until 9:00 am when I called the toll-free number for the customer, where the attendant informed me that none of their stores opened before 9:30 am! At 9:40 am I went to the store where I had made the reservation; also closed, I went back to the point where they should deliver the truck to me at 10:00 am and still everything closed! So, I started a pilgrimage through all the stores in Pittsburgh, PA, always keeping in touch with the customer center, already desperate at 11:30 am after passing the fifth closed store, a customer service representative told me that my reservation had been cancelled, but she had no information on who canceled, why canceled and why no one communicated to me! I even tried to contact someone in person, I went to every store in Pittsburgh, and they were all closed. Even so, I had to pay the two guys I hired to make my move in USD$200.00! They emailed me later if they could cancel the truck they had booked for March 13, 2022. I did not respond to this email as I had never made this request, and I was never consulted about it. When I do any business, I always leave a day of the month, day of the week and specific hours! But on Monday I called the store requesting a truck in the same proportions, and to be sure I went to the store that was fronted on Tuesday, so I went to another one, where the very friendly attendant made the reservation, as it was a gas station, and it would logically be open Wednesday morning for when I ordered the truck. There again I asked if I could pay in advance or leave the number of my documents, and once again I was told that I didn't need to, that everything was arranged in the delivery of the truck! On Wednesday morning at 08:45 I was at the store to pick up the truck, when the kid who was serving me charged me all the documents and the credit card with at least one hundred Dollars, which messed up all my plans, because my money would go just like it fell into my account during the day on Wednesday, so I had to bother my old mother in Brazil, so she could lend me her credit card, I wasted almost two hours on that alone! card etc. As soon as I got the truck I felt that the streaming was bad, but as there was no other truck around, I went in that same one, removed my furniture and went to the warehouse, when I noticed that my phone that is my GPS was discharging, I bought a lighter adapter to USB and the cable, and nothing, the truck's cigarette lighter wasn't working, luckily one of the guys I hired had a charged phone and I managed to do what I needed, despite being risking myself in a truck that the streaming wasn't working properly! When I went to deliver the truck, I didn't have anyone to communicate with, I parked where I thought it was the best I could, but they charged me everything and a little more; even cleaning the truck, which I returned cleaner than I took it, they charged me, A subtotal that I have no idea how it was calculated, they didn't give me the promised discount, and a gold price diesel, when the guy who didn't answer me right; because he spoke two words and served a customer, plus two other customers, asked for a document and went to meet someone outside the establishment, taking 15 minutes to return and with that I had to pay overtime to my employees; but made it clear that if I returned the truck with a quarter of a tank that was much higher than a quarter, then I didn't even bother! In total my employees received an extra day and a half which is twice as much, two days off work, and I can't blame them! Sorry, gentlemen, managers and/or owners, I have always used H-URAUL's services and never had any problems, but this time I saw a company that I trusted that will go bankrupt quickly if they don't take the necessary measures urgently!
