I'm when I arrived, all of the the back gates on the Uhauls were frozen shut. After about 45 minutes, we were able to get one open. After I cleaned the snow off myself, we found out it had broken wipers. I then asked for hot water to pour on the back of the original truck. After getting the gate open, I attempted to walk to the back of the truck. I slipped on ice in the parking lot and fell so hard my wallet flew out. My legs and arms were cut badly and I've been getting headaches since. I will be going to a Doctor on Monday if they do not go away.

My 90 year old grandfather was supposed to pay for it but he's too old to drive so he needed me to drive. I called uhaul customer service and they said it was okay and that they made a note of it so there wouldnt be any problems. When i picked up the uhaul they wouldnt accept his credit card and made me pay for it regardless of what customer service said. The computer system wouldnt work properly so it took about 45 minutes just to get the keys. Not a good experience.

I've rented from here many times. Almost every time I rent here, I get a call from Knorr's after my initial booking, typically from a woman named Joyce. Her caller ID shows up as 412-276-6464. She outright lies to me and tells me that the truck isn't available and/or not at the time that I want. She wants me to rent for a shorter period or at odd times of day. THIS IS A LIE! The reason that I know that she's lying to me is because I immediately call U-Haul customer service, who confirms that the truck is available. They stick a note in my account, and I then get my full booking time and truck reservation after I do this. So if you book from here and get a call from a Joyce with caller ID 412-276-6464, don't even bother answering. And if you do, hold your ground with her and then immediately call U-Haul customer service at their 1-800 number. They will help you maintain your reservation. After reading some of the reviews here, it looks like several other people got bit by this too, either on the phone or when they showed up. I wonder when U-Haul will put an end to this? I think that this Joyce person wants to try to guarantee herself multiple bookings on the same day for busy days, but she's actually pushing customers away. She's trying to play you because people don't rent U-Hauls that often, so she thinks that people won't figure her out. She's trying to pull one over on the average, honest customer. Please put an end to this woman messing with your product, U-Haul!

When I arrived to pick up the rental truck I was informed that I only had use of the truck for 6 hours NOT an entire day. How can someone move an entire household in just 6 hours. We had no choice but to try an get the move done because everything else was already arranged. At our 6 hour time limit the cashier at the pick up location called and insisted that we return the truck which could not happen because we had problems getting the truck to the location, and had to unload furniture on the street and use a pick up to move furniture up the driveway. We were told that someone else had rented the truck and was there to pick it up and we needed to return the truck immediately. The truck was returned 2 hours late and we were charged double what the expected charge would be. A hold was put on my bank account for $80 dollars more than what we should have paid. Our move was not complete and now we will have to make several pickup truck loads to finish something that would have been done if we were allowed the use of the truck as planned. I did not know that u haul rented the same truck to more than 1 person for the day. When we returned the truck there were 4 other trucks on the lot not being used. We paid for 2 days use and insurance and only had the truck for 7 hours. This move has been a nightmare thanks to uhaul.
