Reservation of original pick-up was changed to a different location on the day of pick-up. I was notified 4 hours prior. No updated instruction's no call of expectation’s just the new location. We got to the location exactly at 12:17 reservation was at 1pm email also stated to come an hour early to not miss window. Lady in the front greeted us and informed us the man will assist us. Which he did not 40mins went by and no one assisted. 2 people that worked at the auto shop just walked by and asked if we were being help and told us we’re waiting for someone to assist with our u-haul. One of the gentlemans that we did talk to from the 2 came back and we asked again on the rsvp. He asked if we have a rsvp we stated yes and this is the new location they directed us too. He had no idea which I understand if he specifically works at the auto shop. Even though it was a self serve location the email stated directly to to the front office to make payment and they will assist. Even after updating the new location The email also did not have any instructions to do self-serve on retrieving the key. I was frustrated and confused as I was rereading emails incase if I missed anything. After 1 hour later we get a call from a u-haul representative who ended up assisting us and did the process over the phone. We were 40mins behind of our move as we only had a window of 2 hours for the elevator at our apartment. overall experience was frustrating and everything seem miscommunicated.

It was difficult, we got zero communication from the rental facility, ended up caption customer service and taking the wrong truck. We did get our move complete, but I'll never use this place or mobile pick up from Uhaul again.

Colin RThere is a street racing group that operates right on this street at night when we dropped it off. Cars flying down the road at 100+ mph while we are trying to drop the truck off was dangerous. I don’t know what could be done about this but the location to drop off is pretty trash
JACOB SThe reason for my less than stellar rating is that that I had a pickup reservation time of 1:00 p.m., but when I arrived at the pickup location it was closed and the door locked. Fortunately, there was a man (Larry) working in the rear of the building who. while associated with the location did not deal with the Uhaul rental aspect. However, he called the woman did handle the truck rental and after some time on the phone with her I was able to gain access to a truck. Larry was very helpful and has great customer stills.
Aaron MI reserved a 15 foot Uhaul online and made sure to mark the option to pick up in person at the counter. It stated I could come in early to pick up as long as it wasn't more than an hour early. I arrived around 10 am for our 10:30 am reservation. I got there and the facility was clearly open, lights on and I saw someone walk down the hallway, but when I went to open the door it was locked. Even after knocking no one came so I was forced to use the app. Once in the app, it told me the equipment I reserved was not available even though I could see it parked right next to me. I had to call the 800 number because no one was in the office. Then we weren't even able to get the 15 foot even though it was there. Very frustrating that no one was available and the truck I reserved days in advance I couldn't even get.
