This was by far the worst and most stressful customer experience I have ever had. I reserved a 15' U-Haul approximately three months in advance, yet the day before my move, I received multiple calls changing my reservation. First, I was told I was being upgraded to a 20' truck, then told that was no longer available. My pickup location was changed multiple times, and I was eventually sent to a location in an area where I did not feel safe. When I arrived, there was no U-Haul representative available, despite it already being past my scheduled pickup time. I had people scheduled to help me move at 10:00 a.m., and at 9:30 a.m. I still did not have a truck. Eventually, someone arrived with a 15' truck that was covered in graffiti and stains, handed us the keys, and left without providing any proper assistance. He also changed my pickup time online from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. without my consent. To make matters worse, the truck had little to no gas. I made my reservation months in advance and did everything I was supposed to do as a customer. The constant changes, lack of communication, unsafe pickup situation, and complete lack of professionalism were unacceptable. Moving is already stressful enough without having to worry about whether the company you trusted will actually provide the service you reserved. This experience has permanently soured my opinion of U-Haul, and I would not recommend them to anyone. The level of disorganization and disregard for customers is extremely disappointing.

My reservation was completely messed up, which ended up me owing much more than quoted. Completely unaware what they are doing. Currently in a dispute. Would not recommend to nobody!

Make sure the back of the truck is swept out, clean, and free from broken glass.
