We were sippose to pick up a 10' Uhaul at a different location in Hudson. Even though I called the day before to confirm the reservation and it being 1 way, when we arrived the 10' was not for one way and said they did not know it was one way. Personal service was fine, but U-Haul's online check-in tool is convoluted and time-consuming, there is no option for the franchisee to take over the order once started, U-Haul's reservation system offers no reason as to why/when trucks are available, so customers must play with vehicle/timing/vendor combinations until something useful pops up. Also, there are more hidden fees than my cell phone bill. I will avoid U-Haul like a government-engineered pandemic if at all possible in the future.JACK W.

When I rented the Uhual I indicated which drop off location I wanted to drop it off at. When I arrived and did the online check in process it indicated I was to drop it off at a different location 10 miles away. I would think U-Haul would have contacted me ahead a time indicating there was a change in where I should drop it off. I had to call U-haul to clarify and get them to change in their system the drop off to where I was originally supposed toJeffrey K.

The owner was nice and polite and gave some helpful information when I had trouble trying to reserve a truck. The interior of the truck was dirty and smelled like a wet dog and had dog hair on the seats, dash, and floor. Windows were filthy. There was trash on the floor and spilled pop in the cupholders and floor. The roof of the truck had been previously damaged and repaired with tape. It was noted on the back of the paperwork, but the owner did not say anything to me about it. Luckily it did not rain during my move, but it would have been nice if he would have told me about it. Since it was written on the back of one of the forms, I didn't notice it until after I returned the truck. It would have been nice if the truck had a full tank when I picked it up.Trevor M.

Had a hard time finding the keys picking it up because of the wording in the app. The app glitched out returning the truck and had to go in and have the person complete it.Tim R.

When finishing up the process to pick up the truck there was an error with no pictures as to find the truck or be able to confirm the odometer and gas guage. It said to call the place but there was no direct number, the location was closed, and the U-Haul main number had too long of a wait time and I needed to get on the road. Very frustrating.Madison K.

When I returned it I was almost charged for a dent that was on the top corner of truck. There was a crack in windshield also. They were both there when I got it. When I picked it up the guy asked me what my license# was, took NO picture and asked for 2 peoples names and phone# that knew me. Charged my card $250 . Didn't go thru truck with new or anything. When I returned it. I was almost charged for 30 miles that I told the pick up guy I need more miles because I had to go so far from my former house to pick up. He didn't add them. The place I picked up from in Hudson was not good.Jamie L.

Your online pick up system and drop off system needs a lot of work. Not quick at all. It took 45 min to pick up and it wouldn't let me drop off. I had to go to the office to complete the drop off. Good thing I was done early.Charles E.

The vehicle rented had a cord attached to the parking brake which after calling roadside assistance due to the parking brake light not turning off I realized it was there to keep the parking brake from turning on. After speaking with the location they said it was to keep the light from turning on. Either way it did not feel like a vehicle that was in perfect working order and I felt weary about using it. I would be hesitant to rent from uhaul or this location in the future.Britt H.
Kudos to UHauls computer system I guess because the guy at Keuhls was outside working on another unit and when he saw us just stopped long enough to say "Good morning, just put that thing in front of the door guys", then walked over and took it off my rig. Have always found him helpful. Used him several times in the past. He actually suggested that I rent from a local place in MI and not haul a dolly from my own area to MI. After driving about 5 miles with the empty dolly behind my Suburban I can see his reasoning. All worked well.GRANT J.

When I made my truck reservation, I also rented an appliance dolly, utility dolly and some moving pads. When I picked up the truck, none of them were in the truck (even though my bill included a charge for them). I had washers and dryers to move so this was a huge inconvenience since I was counting on having the dollies. Also, I had to use mobile pickup for the truck and it took 30 minutes for Uhaul to send me the code to get the truck key. So 30 minutes out of my 6 hour rental was wasted. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Uhaul.CALEB J.

My pickup time was on New Years Eve, the business was not open. The business owner (I assume) or employee met me there a little before the time of the reservation. Paper work was conducted quickly and he took us outside to hook up the trailer and to ensure lights were working. Friendly service and totally hassle free. I would recommend this location to anybody. Side note, 6 by 12 trailer.....bigger than I thought and worked absolutely great for my move. Thanks for the great product and service.Erik B.

Our contract got switched from another pick up location due to availability. We had a noon pickup on a Sunday. We were not informed of the switch until 10 am on that Sunday. We were first sent an email, which we did not see until 11:45 am. A phone call was then placed to us and the man from Kuehls Canvas was very rude about us having to pick up the trailer right now because he closed at noon and would not wait. My husband rushed to get the trailer so that we had it but when he got there he said the man was a jerk. We did not know about this change, it was sprung on us and then we rushed to get our U-Haul all while being treated terribly by the man from Kuehl's Canvas. I would highly recommend a re-training for this location or possibly even cutting ties with him. He is a representative of U-Haul despite being an independent contractor and he did a poor job of it.Michael D.
