Gouging is the name of the game here...! Rented a trailer for 1 day.. got charged for 2 ! As it was a returned a bit late.. I can understand a late charge.. but Not a Full day Also rented moving blankets..and was charged two full days as well. The equipment is old...and rusty.. Go to another company..to rent Trucks and Trailers.. ! They Only know how to give you unsafe and old equipment at Uhaul..! Plus Gouge.. you for every dime..! Will never Use Uhaul again..!Denise H.

The trailer was dirty. There was piles of debris in the inside corners. As there were no other trailers on site we just used it instead of asking for a nonexistent replacement we had to throw down tarps to ensure our belongings didn't get dirty. I have photos.SUSAN W.

Not everyone 1st time customers or especially a person without a mobile phone are able to complete the application. Even with a cell phone the process is complicated and what you initially sign up for and expect will be changed by U Haul the day before. For example my moving day pick up time moved to 3:30 pm and 2hrs from home only to wait 2 1/2 hrs and get NO truck but told can drive 1 1/2 hrs further from home for what maybe the same BS and again no truck. No thanks tried it twice same shit both times It's laughable and sickening. Below you want me to rate a place you sent me to drop off truck and they don't even do it anymore. Wow you guys gotta get it together or uhaul is going down good luck with thatâ€¦.LarryLarry T.

Social distancing was ignored, employee crowded too close, ignored my request to move, and actually laid hands on me. He was not aggressive at all, may have been trying to be congenial, but ignoring covid 19 protocols upset me.Ian C.

Truck was not clean, damage to truck was not noticed and I had to document it. Wasn't the correct kilometres and gas tank wasn't at 1/4 tank. We drove less kilometres than expected and were told that the amount charged to my Visa would be less, but it wasn't. The people running it were friendly, but you have to stand behind your word if you want repeat customers.Steve N.

Car hauler cannot haul a 2016 Cadillac ATS despite uhaul website assurance that combination would work due to front valance clearance issues . Mis matched tires 2 ply radial on one axle and 4 ply on the other . Illegible temporary paper plate on the trailer . Had to disconnect trailer myself . Overall a sad experience and clearly you need to update vehicles which can hauled on your trailersDONALD M.

Put the things people order in the truck. We were shorted 2 dollies and a dozen furniture pads. As well as having to go to Lindsay to pick up a truck that we booked a month in advance at a Peterborough location. We were given one day's notice that we had to go elsewhere for pickup.Peter T.
Worst experience of my life dealing with U-Haul. I booked my rental with an agent on the phone in Quebec and was GUARANTEED my truck would be ready at my first pick up location Stroudtech Solutions- 7975 Yonge St N 1A, Innisfil, ON L9S1A8. I explained where my mother in law was located which was already 45-50 mins from Innisfil but because I needed that truck that day I was willing to drive. Fast forward to July 31, on our way to pick up the truck - I confirmed my reservation online around 9:05am and on the last page there said there was an error with my truck rental so I called the location. The man that answered the phone said my truck wasn't there and was quite rude. I told him I would be about 10 mins until I got there. After waiting for him to finish with another customer he's on the phone and ignoring my partner and I. I informed him I could hear he was talking about my rental and needed to know what was going on since it was 9:35am and I had help on the way to my mother in laws house that I needed to cancel. He then said my truck isn't here. The guy who was suppose to bring my truck called at 8am and said he wouldn't be there until 1PM. The man was so rude. He did not try to resolve the situation or come to a resolution. NO ONE called me in the morning to let me know the truck isn't there. It wasn't until I was 10 MINS away that I knew something was wrong and even then he didn't try and find a truck for me. When he was speaking to U-Haul on the phone the TWO options I was given to get the truck was one being an hour and half away or two hours away. I had ZERO choice in this matter as my mother in law HAD to get out of her place of residence on July 31 and move to another province THAT day. I cannot believe the treatment I was given. WHILE I was at the Innisfil location, the woman behind me HAD THE EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE WITH HIM AND THE WEEKEND BEFORE. I had to drive (5) hours that day JUST for the truck - (5) hours of driving in my personal car, my mileage expense and gas expense. Then (3) hours of driving in a 15' U-Haul truck JUST to get to my mother in laws house to then drive another (5) hours to QC. Worst experience of my lifeBrandon Alexande R.

1/4 tank of fuel in the truck at pick up was a piss off. Getting fuel fist thing on a moving day is not something you want to do . Then you end up putting to much in to much in cause you have no idea how much fuel your going to use.Matthew B.

I was called 2 hr before pickup and told you cannot have what was ordered. I was moving my home - thanks for the stress - then I had to rent 2 trucks and PAY for both. I was told I would get credit for mileage NOPE didn't happen - would not recommend Uhaul everLauraine A.

When I picked up the truck I was told to leave a quarter tank of gas in the truck. The gas needle read slightly more than a quarter when I dropped off the truck, yet I was charged an additional $12.00 for gas.(6 litres). I have a photo of the gas guage and mileage I took when I dropped off the truck that clearly shows this. Very Disappointed.Larry R.

I was forced to use this location as a result of U Haul's cancellation of our original contract 4 DAYS after being made - 2 days before I expected to pick up the reserved vehicle. In addition to the inconvenience ( this location was an hour away from my original choice ) this cancellation cost me time and money. ( If you truly care you're more than welcome to call me to hear the exact details behind that comment - time will tell if you do care ) . I believe I am owed a partial refund .GLENNR M.

reserved a 20'van, then the following week got a call from U haul saying the didn't have that size of truck available any more, would i pick one up instead at Fenlon Falls, way out my way. We agreed to a 26'at this location for same rate. Picked the truck up they didn.t match the agreed rate, and it cost a lot more money for fuel than the smaller truck would have. Unit has a bad vibration at low speed and leaking power steering fluids. Not a economical hwy. truck.Leslie T.
