Fix what's broken before rerenting or at least secure damaged part. The 800 operator at U haul did an outstanding job.



Properly educate the employees to do their job in a timely fashion, 50 minutes is a ridiculous amount of time to take to complete a rental transaction. Furthermore your employee made me get all the information for the trailer as he didn't know what a tow dolly was, also he neglected to give me the necessary cable extension to plug the tow dolly in to get the lights to work. Your employee did not come out and do an inspection of the trailer before me taking it.

The only issue was that the radio speakers were not working properly. The left speaker was out completely and the right speaker was in and out as if the wire was loose. I got by, but a long hauler may have been disappointed. Thanks.

the representative was very helpful and great to deal with but she sent me on my way with someone else's paper work, I had to unhook the trailer by myself and also the trailer leaked water during the rain, I am not very pleased and I know i will not hear from anyone about this, also I called your outlet in Portland On. but nobody was there to help me but promised a call back which of course never happened, time to take care of this poor service

I booked the truck from cavalier storage where my futniture was located. I got a call a few days later telling mr to pick the truck up at the Essa location WHCH IS ACROSS TOWN. Claiming the truck I rented was not available. Upon completion of my use the owner of cavaliers asked why I went to the other location when he had two trucks available. Service at both ends was excellent but I now have some questions regarding bookings/scheduling via your system. It cost me a minimum of $15 extra in mileage for absolutely no reason!!! Please respond!

The headlight was out on the truck. I think the vehicles should be checked over before renting to a customer. The person who rented us the truck over the phone was very nice as was the guy at the pickup desk. Very pleasant and helpful.

My following comments are not directed at the location I picked up the truck, instead they are directed at the folks and automated computers behind Uhaul. First of all, there was no confirmation email sent when I pre-payed for my order which left me wondering if it actually went through, when my bank told me otherwise. Second, the communication among your establishment is horrendous. Your associates called me three times in one day asking different questions regarding changing my pick up location, whether I would like storage, ect. Finally I will describe the scenario in which you placed me in on the day of the rental. Initially I ordered a truck for moving online April 3rd, 2017 for 9am Saturday April 29th, 2017 and I received an email to confirm this. Less than one day before my scheduled move, you sent me a notice stating the truck will be ready for pickup at 530 pm instead of 9am (8.5 hours later). Between finishing school on April 28th and a starting a new job in another city on May 1st, this sudden change foiled my plan of moving on the scheduled order date. I pre-ordered a truck almost a month in advance at a specific time and you failed to notify me that you couldn't accommodate my request, even after I called your associates to change it back to 9 am two days prior, which they did authorize. When someone orders something for a specific time you tell them yes, you can do it or no, you can't do it. Not yes at first and then no at the last minute, to me that is treating your customers like sh*t. I promise you I will avoid using what you call a service at all costs. Just remember who pays your bills. Cheers to the associate that is payed to read these reviews

Booked van on line for 4 hour time block. Arrived at pick up point to be informed that they rent only by the day, so estimated $40 rental ended up costing $90. Not amusing. Also, outlet is in a gas bar so one person on duty has to give priority to pump and convenience store customers over rental customers. Very slow to pick up and return vehicle. Liked efficiency of on line booking, but it all fell apart at the depot.

The website does not offer all the vehicles that this location has. I wanted a 10' truck and saw it was available at Knights Inn, so booked it there. I arrived to find they didn't have a truck. My order was quickly switched to the Esso location (which was my original preference) and they looked after me very efficiently. YOur website appears to need updating.
