I was called 2 hr before pickup and told you cannot have what was ordered. I was moving my home - thanks for the stress - then I had to rent 2 trucks and PAY for both. I was told I would get credit for mileage NOPE didn't happen - would not recommend Uhaul everLauraine A.

When I picked up the truck I was told to leave a quarter tank of gas in the truck. The gas needle read slightly more than a quarter when I dropped off the truck, yet I was charged an additional $12.00 for gas.(6 litres). I have a photo of the gas guage and mileage I took when I dropped off the truck that clearly shows this. Very Disappointed.Larry R.

The trailer was filthy with automotive grease all over the floor. Had to wash out with varsol before putting furniture inside. Also the reservation experience was very poor. I could not get confirmation that the trailer would be at the location till 2 days before neededDave M.

I was forced to use this location as a result of U Haul's cancellation of our original contract 4 DAYS after being made - 2 days before I expected to pick up the reserved vehicle. In addition to the inconvenience ( this location was an hour away from my original choice ) this cancellation cost me time and money. ( If you truly care you're more than welcome to call me to hear the exact details behind that comment - time will tell if you do care ) . I believe I am owed a partial refund .GLENNR M.

reserved a 20'van, then the following week got a call from U haul saying the didn't have that size of truck available any more, would i pick one up instead at Fenlon Falls, way out my way. We agreed to a 26'at this location for same rate. Picked the truck up they didn.t match the agreed rate, and it cost a lot more money for fuel than the smaller truck would have. Unit has a bad vibration at low speed and leaking power steering fluids. Not a economical hwy. truck.Leslie T.

Make sure they understand the charges they may obtain if they do not put the same amount of fuel in before returning. You might as well put a gun to my head and robbed me. 30.00 dallara service charge to put 8 LTE of fuel and 48+dollars for the fuel. Shameless never againbob B.

I booked via express pick up via app but it didn't worked for me. I was told by customer service that my booking pick is at 10am but i scheduled 9am and got the confirmation. It took me more than half an hour to get the truck. The store rep was helpful though. I also notice that the fuel information was incorrect. In the invoice it says 3/4 but it was not. I took a pick and advised the lady in yhe store when I dropped off the key that I filled the fuel the way it was. But i saw that i was still charged for 2L of fuel.JOJIT T.

The tires on the truck were negligently bald. Having to drive in snowy weather with "slicks" was life threatening. Nothing was done when mentioned to the attendant. Trucks in this condition should not be allowed on the road. Had there been an accident, your company would have been suedJOHNTA T.
My only issue is the fuelling of the truck. The previous renter filled the truck just enough to make the gauge look â€œfullâ€ when it really wasn't. The gauge indicated 7/8 of a tank after driving only 20kms. For the record I filled the van until the nozzle clicked off prior to returning the van. Next user you're welcome.MICHAEL G.
Tag said truck was sanitized for me, but I clearly saw the attendant get in the exact truck while I was standing there and move it. I kindly asked him to keep the truck running as it was like -10 because that is the truck I am renting as I did my pre inspection. He then took the keys with him , after I did the pre inspection , I had to go into the office and get the keys from him , even though it said retrieve the keys from a lockbox , he pulled them out of his pocket. I am a frequent U-Haul customer and this behaviour is not ok. He wasn't rude , but he wasn't very professional and honest.Steven K.

Always take pictures of your truck before and after. The male taking my truck basically just gave me a broom to clean it out stating if I didnt I would get charged. I told him I had pictures of when I picked it up and just now when I dropped it off and he was surprised. and then said. okay Youre good. and I was off on my merry way. I reserved a truck with the guarantee it would be there. No truck, This was supposed to be in Peterborough. I was sent to Lindsay but didn't get the size I requested. Ended up making two trips when one would have done if I got the size I requestedCORNELISRALPH V.
I was late picking up the vehicle that I booked for the entire day, and two separate representatives told me off for being late (as if it matters when I have the booking for the entire day). Both were incredibly rude and condescending. I will never rent from this location again, and it's unlikely I'll use U-Haul again based on this experience.HOWARDMATTHEW B.

I had picked Pickering for my Pick up location. A few days prior I get a call to pick up in Lindsay. I was on speaker for with my daughter who agreed with what I'm about to say. Your customer service rep was rude! Told me that in the "fine print" I would be told where to pick up. An hour away!!! I was told I could get an uber and a discount for $60. Uber is over $100 to get to this location. It didn't cover the time and expense to get help to pick up this truck! We thought about moving to the weekday for pick up and I was told there would be no guarantee of pick up location as well. The customer rep said to me "I didn't say that!!!" really rude, I said in other words "you can't guarantee where would pick it up on another day". Honestly - your customer service person was really really RUDE! When I went to pick up the truck it was hard to find the person to move their auto's. He double parked in front of the truck and we were running around for at least 20 mins to find the person so I could leave your lot! Not well organized! Very poor experience all around. The pick up person who gave us the keys for the van was great.Wendy B.
