This was the worst uhaul experience I have even had in my life. For some reason only on person can rent and the other can only return the trucks. Let me start from the beginning. First my location was changed. Then I wasn't set up for mobile. Then my pick up time was changed. It was set for 9am. I arrived at 845am. Me and many others with 9am appointment waited until 1030 for the only lady there that can rent trucks. She arrived with one other lady and laughed as they walked past us and spoke in Spanish. Then when they got inside they decided to make coffee before helping the first customer. We didn't leave until 11am which is the time I was supposed to meet the movers. I had to reschedule my move and I missed my internet being installed. I was able to talk to customer service who did refund the second day on my truck since I couldn't reschedule my movers until the next day. So much time was wasted and those ladies weren't sorry at all. The girls need to be fired for the negative impression they left on all the customers there and the amount of money we all had to be refunded. I would never rent anything from this location again and I will warn other people not too unless the ladies were gone.Brennan J.
At this location, my reservation was for 9:00 am, the vendor was an 1.5 hrs late arriving for opening of business which caused me and other customers loosing our movers prior to their timely schedule. I feel we should get a discount on having to wait that long. Timely improvement in that area is needed immediately.GARRON S.

I want to thank Julio at the pickup location for going above and beyond to help me even though the woman at the counter who supposedly runs the UHaul check in had closed everything at 4pm. Julio at the Kwick Stop took it upon himself to contact Gaylan Grant. Both Julio and Mr. Grant went above and beyond the call of duty to get me on the road and to my final destination. There are good people in the world. Thank you UHaul I really appreciate the extra mile these two gentleman displayed during a time of need. They understood the since of urgency and my time line of getting me on the road. 2 Awesome employees that represent UHaul. Very Bad service...VERY BAD LOCATION. was not told check in had to be electronically. Rental was turned before 5:00, attendant would not take keys, we ARE not tech savvy. Now received a collection notice for a transaction on 8/21/2022. Truck was rented on 8/20/22 and returned the same day before 5:00p. BAD SERVICE....BAD...BAD SERVICE!!!! When I rented online I chose the no insurance option the guy pulled my reservation so I am sure he seen that I opted not to buy the 25.00 insurance. But he added to my Reservation without asking after I looked at the contract I told him that I wanted the extra 25.00 removed he told me he would have to cancel it and start over. I was not happy about it but I had more time than money that day. Because he was trying to get his bonus for adding the insurance it made me late but still made it.Caroline C.

This U-Haul was located in a small convenience store. The online order provided the option to skip the counter. When arriving to the store this was not an option. I actually had to go in the store speak with the sales clerk and then get the key. It took about 5-7 minutes which wasn't bad. There was a problem with the loading ramp on the truck. After I pulled the ramp out to load I noticed that part of the steel portion of the ramp that connected it to the truck was broken. Looked like someone tried to weld it back on. Needless to say it took about 20 minutes to "Jimmy rig" the ramp to get it back under the truck. This was the only option as when I called to the U-Haul store I was told to call customer service for them to send someone to fix the truck. Unfortunately he didn't know how long it would take for someone to come. I informed the clerk of the issue again when I dropped the truck off. I recommend renting from a standalone U-Haul center as they have more trucks.Felicitas M.

They charge me 2 extra days and more gas then expected now I'm waiting to get my money back because it was on and with more gas then when i got it good thing i took pictures hope i get my money back, NOT RECOMMENDEDENRIQUE R.
I really do not think U-Haul can improve their service. I had a long time thinking this question over because my job is to be critical of others. However, criticism would be unnecessary in this scenario. I want to thank U-Haul, the company and all of the amazing individuals that keep this organization going. I had no problems making my first ever family move and it took over 300 miles. I will recommend this service to everyone I come into contact with, especially friends and family. The truck was dirty inside when I opened it for use. The windshield washer fluid ended up empty. 1 of the auto hauler straps was broken and when I was on the road it kept popping open. Very dangerous. When I got to AZ I went to the nearest UHaul to have the car removed and they charged me $51 for the wrong location return. A JOKERandy B.

You all have made the rental process a headache making the customer do everything from picking it up to dropping it off and the website lags to upload photos I will not be looking forward to using uhaul again unless you all go back to tradicional standard procedure on picking and dripping off the rental and what I mean with that is having a actual employee doing all the work all I want to go do is sign a paper and go and to drop off I just want to go give the keys back and let the employee to there job... I arrived at 415pm for my 430pm pick up time. I left at 515pm. This place was so disorganized and appeared to be new at all of the rental steps. While the attendant was taking my information the clerk standing by him kept interrupting him as she was placing an order over the phone for tacos. Once I paid which took 20 minutes the guy ( who was taking my information) said go outside the old man will help you with your inspection of the truck and he will give you the keys. After waiting outside for 5minutes I came back inside the store. The guy that helped me was gone. The lady ( clerk) said I know nothing about the uhaul side of the business. I asked for the old man and she said he had run up the street to get them lunch/dinner. She told to wait outside until he returned. I told her NO you have 5 minutes to get me my keys or I'm leaving and you will refund my money. She called the old man and he returned in less than 5 minutes . Then he asked me for my paperwork I told him the guy didnt give me no receipt no paperwork. He said the keys are locked in the truck and you need a combination to get the keys. He then called the guy who I paid and after 10minutes they figured the combination to the lock. Upon returning the truck I took pictures of the milage and fuel. Reviewing the billing from my bank I noticed two drafts from uhaul. I called UHAUL C/S where we determined they were charging me for 90 miles when I only drove 50. The fuel was wrong too. I will never return to this locationRAUL M.

The process took over 30- minutes, all the equipment I ordered was not in the uhaul. It took two call representatives to figure out how I could get the vehicle. For non-uhaul locations/authorized dealers, an email the day prior of how to get your rental would have been very helpful. Their was no attendant on duty at the location I utilized, customers should be notified of this and given thorough instructions prior to going to these type of locations.Krystal W.

Make sure the people that have uhaul in their store actually know how to use it. We rented the truck for 2 days but turned it in at 6:30 p.m on June 19th, the day before another rental period would have taken effect. The guy at the uhaul store told us he would check us in after he finished with a customer but never did. I returned to the location the next day and was told the guy was off but he would check it in the next day upon his return. I asked for the keys to the truck and told him I would just do it myself because we didn't want to get charged another day. Julio came outside and said he is friends with the supervisor and assured me he the truck would be put in as returned 6:30 on Friday. Of course now I get my receipt and it says we turned it in exactly at the time we were supposed to and got charged for two days instead of one anyway. When calling customer service they just keep saying go back to the same store that can't help me. I'm thinking about just disputing the charge with the bank since no one can help and I don't believe in paying for services that I didn't use, and I only used the truck for 24 hours but was charged for 48.Tony M.

Not add extra charges without consent, I did not request the â€œsafemove â€œ insurance and didn't notice that I was charged for it until after I returned the truck and recorded an e-mailed receipt. Also was charged for three gallon s of fuel when i returned the vehicle it was clearly not 3 gallons of fuel below the half mark which I received it on (drove a total of 20 miles )and put 2.5 gallons in before returning the truck only used it for 3 hrs . This was by far my worst e experience with Uhaul and I have been using the service for years, I will never return to this location and will look into other options. I feel like I was ripped off, beware and definitely read your paperwork before accepting and leaving.. Horrible experience.EDWARD M.
