I had to leave my truck at this location while I used the U-Haul. I was told to park my truck in the back so I hid it next to a dumpster. Came back to find that it had been rifled through. All my stuff was tossed around. I’m not sure if anything was taken yet. I have been so tired from moving today, I will have to check tomorrow. I felt unsafe at this location. Otherwise, staff was nice.

Rebecca RI ended up using the truck for a few extra hours than I expected. By the time I was ready to return the truck, the drop off location was closed. They did not inform me how to go about returning the truck after hours. They did inform me that it would cost more to drop off the truck at a different location, but as I was unable to get in contact with the original pickup/drop off location by the time I was done, I decided to return it to a different location that was still open, very close to the original location. My intention has been to remedy this situation to have the truck returned to the proper location and have my $288 fee reimbursed for this mishap. I have spoken to 3 different people in customer service. Helen was very kind- she gave me the email addresses of the field managers of both locations (pick up and drop off). Takia submitted a dispute for me later that evening, which I was very grateful for. The next morning, Sonia confirmed that one of the field managers closed the dispute without ever contacting me or responding to my email inquiry. Sonia then connected me with one of the managers who spoke very rudely to me on the phone. He said that it's too late and that reimbursing me for trying to return the truck to the right location is outside of their policy, but that he would contact the other manager of the original pick up location to see if he would be willing to work with me...he never got back to me. This is the worst moving experience I have ever had. I can't afford to spend over $400 to move a truck less than 20 miles away. I am more than willing to go pick up the truck and take it to the right location, pay for the gas, and the fee for the extra hours I had the truck. I don't understand why I am being told it's impossible to reimburse me for the $288 fee- if my card was charged, it can be reversed. I will do anything I can to help remedy this situation. I will personally move the vehicle and fill up the gas tank. I am willing to be flexible, but it doesn't seem like this company is willing to do the same. I need someone to please call me with a solution. I have tried to contact everyone I can, but this is becoming more difficult than is necessary.
