Failed to call me when the truck I reserved did not get returned in time, even though myself and the other person with that truck were the only two people on the schedule that day. Thankfully they had a truck that was close enough (surprising, they had 2 little trailers and that was it). Had to wait in a completely unheated office on a -20 morning while the employee called u haul customer support to get permission to give me the only truck he had. All in all, I was forced to go here instead of my usual locations and I will be sure to avoid it in the future

The manager at this location is absolutely disgusting and my interaction with him was horrible especially the verbiage he used on the phone while sitting beside my wife

The back right tail lights/brake/signal lights were burnt out. The uhaul employee didn’t ask the right questions to realize we were moving out of town and book us the proper truck rental. We had to drive back to return it, which cost us more in mileage and gas. The small office had five + bags of old garbage sitting in there and smelt disgusting, I had to cover my nose as we waited when booking and try not to gag.

Please please PLEASE phone your customers if they are late for their pick up time before you cancel the truck. I simply got the time wrong but an easy phone call would have saved me so much stress. I got lucky that someone else returned their truck as I was still looking for one, but this could have easily been avoided by phoning me when I'm late

Have truck closer to where they are needed alot of extra fuel as there were no locations close to rocky for pick up and no locations to drop off in okotoks so all in all 75km extra just to use uhaul truck probably wouldnt do that again knowing how hard of fuel the trucks are

Had a lot of issues trying correct an error regarding a uhaul truck rental and a storage unit that I never required. Numerous calls to the dealer and uhaul. Never got resolved. Charged $20 and no solution.

This has been the worst U-Haul experience I have ever had. I booked my truck/cargo trailer on June 16th for 8:30AM. to be picked up from Innisfail. I set up 2 people who I was paying to help load the truck. Then 2 days before the agency called to say pick up in Red Deer at 11 AM.What kind of customer service is this? Then we decided to cancel the cargo trailer and could only get a 20' truck from Sylvan Lake. For a $100 more than my 26' truck cost! I paid for it with my visa/debit card. Then we go to Red Deer to get the 26' Truck and auto transport.. Then their pos machine was not working. The agent called Vancouver office to process the card and she could not either. Then tells the agent to charge me another $100 inconvenience fee!!!!? My card worked at Sylvan Lake so who's inconvenienced? I had to go to bank and get cash out I told the agent in Red deer who's inconvenience was it? I want that $100 back. She said St Paul would credit me back.. And this all takes extra time and I lost my packers!! And we took the auto transport an agent on the phone said would work all the way to Innisfail and it was not long enough! We did not have time to drive it back to Red Deer and dropped it off at the Innisfail depot. Now we are a day behind getting the truck so late and could not find anyone to help load. I am 67years old with cancer, my 60 year old brother and my 50 year old brother. And I lost my spare driver. So we then had to make a second trip to get the 26' truck we parked at Gasoline Alley U-Haul to keep it safe while we got the 20' truck to Elk point. We had 2 other vehicles to drive there as well. Now we are another day behind because we could mould get the truck at 8;30 AM . And in Elk point because we were arriving on the long weekend our helpers had plans and could not come for unloading. We finally got unloaded August 4th and took the trucks to St Paull but the office was closed and I could not get my $100 back. My brother has been calling and said we want full refund on auto transporter and $200 for the trouble we had and stress of not getting trucks at 8:30 AM.Which caused us hardship.I would not have minded if it was an in town move but it is a 4 hour trip. And this caused a whole lot of stress on me! My brother is calling tomorrow as well

Would be better if the gas tank would be full instead of halfway and trying to guess how much to put in when it’s brought back. Other than that good.

This location is new for U-Haul and I understand it's a learning curve for new business venture. But the only thing the representative understood was receiving the truck I returned and had no knowledge of anything else regarding U-Haul. Didn't even have tape or boxes which I thought was a standard for any & all U-Haul affiliates.
