Scheduled to pick up at midnight and when driving to location to pick up truck it was so dark that i missed the driveway for the building. Would recommend that if the location is doing night pick up's that there location have proper lighting.

Did the on-line reservation and it was a very smooth process. The person who issued the trailer was friendly and personable. The turn in process (aftter hours was very smooth) I will use U Haul for any of my future needs. Very impressed.

Lake Murray Self Storage was chosen because it has a 24 hour drop off. Unfortunately the location is unlit at night and the drop off area is poorly designated. Had to drop off the truck in the dark out behind the office. A light on the road sign and drop off locations would go far towards making this location acceptable.

I was called on the way to pick up my U-Haul and told that it wasn't available. I was then sent to a different location 10 minutes farther away. I was told I wouldn't be charged for the additional mileage. Not sure if I was or not because no one ever reached out to me. I was also told I'd get a $50 refund due to the truck guarantee and the truck not being available. When I got to the location we could not access the truck. The person on the phone insisted it was an issue with my phone...an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Literally the best iPhone you can get. It was not an issue with my phone. It was an issue with the system. I told her it may work if they deleted the reservation and made a new one. She said okay but instead of doing that for me, she transferred me to an automated machine to create a new reservation. I ended up using the app on my phone at the location to create a new reservation. Once the reservation was made, I got a confirmation showing the truck was due at 2 am that morning, despite the fact that I had requested the truck for two days. So I had to call AGAIN to get it straightened out. Horrible horrible experience.

The location U-Haul gave us to return the trailer in Bluffton does not take trailers but to compensate we were given an extra day to use the trailer and return in Beaufort. Thank You Eagle One in Irmo is still our favorite rental place!

The site is a rundown outdated “storage” facility. The person in charge couldn't care less about his business and the equipment was unkept and ill maintained. We weren't given the equipment we were confirmed, and no safety checks and or routine inspections were completed.

Make sure customers are aware of fuel over fill policy and where the gauge is at time of pickup. Communicate the on line check in information for the return . Teach district managers better customer service skills

Attempted to call Uhaul. NC office was closed. The truck stop at Kenley NC called several companies to replace tire without success. No one had a replacement for the 14 in tire on the trailer. Uhaul did not provide a spare. Owner Wade 252 235 8158 Uhaul kenley NC The original order , as confirmed by an employee at the Lake Murray Uhaul was for a 10x20 truck which had a bench seat for 3 adults. They gave my daughter , Knatalia, who moved from SC to MD, a smaller truck. My daughter thought I , her mother, Carol Ann Kugler , had changed the order. The employee at Lake Murray also admitted that this Uhaul commonly double books their trucks. Thus they did not have the 10z20 truck we had ordered originally from Cloverly Auto Uhaul. Cloverly Auto confirms the order on their end was for this amount charged for a 10x20 truck. I am requesting a total Refund for the Auto Transport ($79) including the portion of the "Smart Move" insurance paid which didnt help us at all late at night with a faulty trailer. In addition, I am requesting a 50% refund for the truck for a sum of $146.10 for the fraudulent, sneaky manner in which the Lake Murray SC Uhaul knowingly rented a truck that was clearly different from the original request. Why would we order a truck with 2 bucket seats for 3 adults??? Refund total amount to card used.

U-haul on-line process was less than satisfactory (my pick up location was changed a couple of days prior to pick up). All u-haul personnel were extremely helpful!!!

No one is ever there I tried 3 times and left a message the day I arrived in Columbia. No return call. Blankets are left in a bin outside the office where anyone could confiscate.

Truck should have been retired long ago the shocks were non exixitent the engine was not efficient and burned to much gas needed clean up . The online software was terrible took 1 hour and phone support in order to get the lock code the damaged spots on the truck were to numerous to document. I need to rent another truck in a few weeks doubt it will be from U-Haul I asked for a 20 foot truck the software or the system gave me a 27 foot truck should have shown me other locations if not available cost me more than I should have spent.

When I picked up the truck “his computers” were down. We sit there for 2 hours waiting on the truck. Finally got the truck it was nasty inside and outside. Told me he would give me a discount and didn't. Then when I just dropped it off he didn't want to give me a paper telling me he was sorry he was closed because he was on vacation: this place is a joke. I will not rent from this location again.

The truck was nearly brand new with only 11,422 miles which was really nice. I ordered a 20' truck but got a 26' due to lack of availability of the 20' and did not pay extra. Problem - the paperwork showed a different 26' truck with 55k miles that made checkout was challenging. All in all it worked out but was a bit of an inconvenience having to spend extra time checking the truck in on an already busy day.

We took a picture of the mileage on the truck before we left and compared it to the computer generated and it wasn't the same amount on the computer generated. But the written ticket had the correct mileage that we started with. This resulted in a huge over charge. When calling to get this straightened out no on is ever there or answers the phone and the voice mail is too full to get someone to discuss the matter. I live 30 minutes away and cannot drive to their location when they are available. Thank goodness my driver noticed that this person working was trying to do something fishy. I was was doubled charged and I have been waiting 1/2 hour for U-Haul to answer the phone ....HORRRRRRRIBLEEEEEEEEE. This over drew my account too. THANKS ALOT
