The dealer provided inaccurate information- told me i could drop my uhaul “at any location” in my destination— I was informed by the destination i attempted to drop at that they dont accept trailers and that i would be charged if I dropped it at different location from what’s on my sheet. Additionally, they told me “the system says your car clearance may be a little low” on the auto transport but no additional information was provided (like that there is a video specially to be used for loading a lower clearance car) and our car was damaged by the loading and unloading process. More direct info would have been good. Someone who doesn't use the auto transport regularly should be directed more.

WADE KEvery thing went smoothly, the self returning option worked well & allowed us to return trailer on a Sunday when U-Haul dealer was closed.
GREGORY CThe offices or locations aren't the problem. The main office are scammers and add all kinds of extra charges. These offices have very little say in all the extra charges. If anything goes wrong with your vehicle or for any reason you end up not being able to make your trip, good luck seeing any refund Instead they will charge you another $100 for not making the trip. Horrible customer service from head office and nobody else has any say. Be prepared to pay extra...

ignacio lThe car trailer I rented functioned flawlessly but it wasn’t very clean. Gravel on the standing platforms on either side of the fenders which in essence is a tripping/slipping hazard. As well and I’m not sure of the origin of the metal staple that punctured my tire upon putting the car on the trailer in Parksville, Van Island,BC but after the two hour trek home I arrived with a flat tire which I had to get repaired for $40 dollars. The car haul trailer did not have trailer brakes that worked in conjunction with my truck braking but only had a break away braking cable. Which surprised me. Utilizing just a four wire connecting harness instead of a seven wire system that allows for trailer braking via trailer brake box in cab of truck. I own the adopter so it wasn’t an issue. RODNEY PVery friendly staff! Great clear check-in process. The shop dog was so cute. Vehicle was clean and well labelled with instructions. The mobile check-in/out was not working when I returned the Uhaul. The shop was closed, so I parked the vehicle and tried to do the return it steps online but it wouldn’t work. I ended up just dropping keys into the drop box anyways.
ANNA BLocation did not want to accept my return as my paperwork had shown a different drop-off. Uhaul made my rental confusing and this location required me to call Uhaul to fix issues rather than call Uhaul themselves to help me out. None of this was my mistake, Uhaul had told me to ignore the drop off location and to take it to this other drop-off. Uhaul on the phone refused to accept this location as a legit operation. Insulted it was not operational. Not an ideal experience overall.

Darren MI have dealt with a lot of Uhaul locations and hands down Lakeland in Campbell River is the best. Anyone north of Nanaimo I tell to go to Lakeland.

JIAJIE DTrucks were clean and on time delivery. Staff were very knowledgeable, everything was explained in detail. I will definitely return to U Haul in the future.
BRIAN AThe trailer needs work in the sliding overhead door. It got jammed, and we used silicone spray to get it up. It no doubt will happen again.
JOANNE WCustomer service was good and pick up was easy. My issue is that the mom’s attic portion of the truck leaked badly therefore everthing stored up there was soaking wet. Not the fault of the location but not something I should have to deal with either.

KEVIN MThrough a mix up in this order the wrong drop off point was entered in the contract. Lakeland said they would not take the vehicle as contract said drop off location was half hour away. Explained that I originally had them down as drop off but it was switched by traffic. I also explained that my wife was hurt off loading truck and had to go to ER. Service rep still made me go through traffic to swith location. Even though rep emailed and let me use the phone it was a delay getting my wife to hospital and added lots of stress to the situation.
Gordon Bback door could have use more maintenance, rollers needed to be lubed on a schedule. No jack on the 6×12 inclosed trailer.
JOHN WU Haul attendent was not on site. Other business that occupies same site took info and key. We do not have a mobile phone so self check out is not an option. Besides that all is good.

Mario LI rented a ramp trailer and it was excellent. Easy to use and very sturdy.
MURRAY LGreat experience. The only issue was that I was called the morning of the pickup to be informed I could not pick up the trailer at the planned 4pm pickup due to staff shortage. I had to scramble and pick it up 1 hour early. Would have been excellent besides that.

Lianne WHannah was a. Absolute dream to deal with. We tried for over 20 minutes to get my visa debit card to work with the machine, however, after a call to head office, it was determined that there was an issue with the machine. In the end everything worked out, and Hannah even came out and helped us hook the trailer up properly, crawling on her hands and knees, we would definitely recommend this location, and especially Hannah!
