The equipment had 3/4 of a tank of gas in it and was filthy inside the cab and bed.
RYAN Fthis location was offered as one of the drop off locations. I dropped off, put key in lock box by the door, the same day as I rented truck out, then the next week, got an email stating they hadn't received the truck back. I called UHaul number and the lady took care of it, but unknown to me, that location was closed for another couple of weeks, so that was not handled well. It should have not been an option, if it was currently closed.. Then I got charged for more gas, we left the gas at the same level we picked it up at.

SUSAN GBoth locations we used were fine. The issue was with UHaul itself. The website is in need of a big overhaul! I rented a truck that was not available at the location I chose (and hasn’t been for years). The drop off location I chose was closed for the entire following month but I never received notice of this. It was a mess.

Someone called later to chew us out over the phone for not dropping the truck off yet…..turned out the person who took the truck from us never relayed to the other employees that we had returned it. Completely RUDE staff who don’t communicate and are lazy.
Edward SIn started driving from Northern MN after a 12 plus inch snowstorm, some 1700 plus miles to Florida. The truck was in decent condition considering the 135+K miles. The truck was as clean as could be expected considering it was buried under a foot + snow. I made it, and was happy to have the truck for my move! B Emans
Bradley ELakes Country was great; however, U-Haul as a company needs to give up and let someone take the company that can manage it.

Ann RUHAUL moved my drop off location which put more miles on the truck than if we had been able to drop it off in Cross lake. Cross Lake MN was where I selected to drop the truck off and UHAUL changed the location to Pequot Lakes. This was 18 more miles that was put on the truck, which I had to pay for. I am not very happy about that. Poor planning on UHAUL I should not have had to pay more to go further.

ROBERT HI called and made my reservation at a location near me. However, 2 days before my rental, I received an email telling me the equipment I rented is in a completely different location miles away from the location I thought I was renting from. This is not OK. If a reservation is made and confirmed at one location, the equipment should be at that location, not a different location.
Jon CWe were not able to complete the online return process on uhaul.com. We were only able to complete the process after we downloaded the uhaul app.

Troy BIn Illinois we usually deal with real people. The location I dropped off to there was no one there and the contact number went to voice mail with no response in two days. I eventually had to use the uhaul app to get the trailer turned in so I could return home.
Ed NWas given the wrong U-Haul and spent 45 minutes on hold to get ahold of U-Haul to get it corrected in their system
Jordan YWe were not able to use the online check in at this location. My sister had the same issue last spring. It must be an internet issue? Does the business need to consider investing in better technology? At any rate, we were not able to rent the extra items requested so had to contact customer service to reverse those charges and customer service over the phone was terrific.
Grant EMy original reservation got cancelled while I was there to pick up my truck then had to make a new reservation. The online app for getting a uhaul is not user friendly at all I had issues with my original reservation trying to get the truck then it said it was cancelled then I had even more issues with the new reservation trying to fill out the information for the second reservation then when I was trying to get the $50 back for the guarantee pick up I was told that I wouldn’t be able to get it cause they said their system said my first reservation was cancelled an hour and 45 mins after I made the second reservation. On top of the fact I paid over $200 for this truck. I finally talked with Christopher and I was able to get the guarantee $50 but only after explaining my situation and finding out that there were no notes of me talking with someone before. I feel I should be reimbursed for the whole amount as that experience was not necessary at all. The customer services was not good at all. And I work in customer service I know what it’s like and that was not good. I will not be going through uhaul ever again. I was made to feel like I was a liar about the whole experience.

Shannon BRenting from U Haul was a messed up deal. I reserved a 26’ truck 3+ weeks before I needed it. The night before my pickup date I received an email saying they have 15’ truck available. When I called customer service they found a 26’ truck at a different location (which was fine) but the pickup location was closed. Customer service located me another truck 25 miles away!! Sure why not they get paid per mile on top of the daily rental fee! Costumer service reduced my rental rate $10. 10 bucks? What a joke. The whole transaction was a farce. Pickup and drop off process took at least 45 min via smart phone. On top of the hours I spent that day on the phone with customer service. Who has that kind of time on moving day? Besides the actual pickup and drop off location being 20 miles out of my way it was a nice spot & I have zero complaints about that business.
