The truck did not include the dolly I reserved. The seat smell3: of sweat and odor. The handle was extremely sticky for some reason. The u haul app required me to go in front of food lion to check in because the store location is not updated on the app. The guy up front was nice but I got overcharged for gas. They overcharged me by over 20 dollars.

BARRY D1) At drop-off, there was a fight going on at a neighboring establishment. This is in an unsafe area. The drop off location is a vape shop in a strip mall of uninviting and dingy businesses. 2) The location scammed me on gas. I had to return my truck with just over 1/4 tank of gas. I did. They marked it as 1/8 tank and charged me $80. I called customer service immediately upon receiving my bill and have not received a call-back.

CRYSTAL BThere should be no locations that can’t maintain the vehicles. And no location should be able to send a vehicle with 125k miles on a 750 mile trip. Our truck was old, with manual windows/locks and needed shocks, tires, tire rotation and wipers at minimum. A horrible driving experience.

The truck was almost new. It had only 500 miles on it and it was like brand new. All around great experience.

Then the fuel was given to us below the appropriate levels agreed upon in the terms of the rental contract. The rental person was stoned, the shop smelled of marijuana, their dog was loudly barking in the back then told to shut up by the owner, and the person was unhelpful + rude in the call about why I was overcharged on my rental.

CONROY HThere are so many negative items to report I don't know where to start. Customer service was terrible. Wife stood at counter almost five minutes before person working would acknowledge her presents. Acted as if he didn't really care if we rented vehicle or not. Knowledge of process was very vague. Vehicle was dirty and almost no gas. It ran terrible. Luckily I only was going ten miles. It would not have made a long trip. Booked vehicle on line as instructed. When arriving at store, person in charge (same person at desk) could not find any information on his phone. Had to rebook contract and ended up staying a location extra hour. There are so many other things which were just handled wrong. I set up contract for three days, returned vehicle afternoon of second day. I usually don't complaint at all because I am a business owner myself and realize things do go wrong. But this experience was horrible. You ask if I would return to this location again. I will just be honest and tell you there is no way I would return. And the bad ting about situation is this location is less than mile from my office.

Diego V148 hit me and I was floored trying to find why. I have pictures showing that we had a quarter of a tank of gas on pick up, I also triple checked our route, we went straight from pick up to the home depot 4 miles away, then back to our build site, another 2-3 miles, back to the lot, another 2-3 miles. That is not 39 miles of driving as claimed. None of this is to mention we had to clean out the bed from boxes left by the last user. I was expecting 68$ and for it to be over twice that is a huge problem. Will be reporting to the bbb
SERAPHINE LThe rental location was dirty and disorganized looking store. The clerks were friendly. The rental vehicle stunk of smoke and marijuana, especially the back bay. Like someone was hotboxing in there. The van cabin was also filthy, and had trash in it. There was almost no gas in the van. Very disappointing experience. Will not go back there.

Sherri ZGive some training to this operator at this location on how to conduct business with a customer. There was no paperwork given at pickup or when the equipment was returned, telling me you will receive an email soon? I did receive an email after my return and the return time was incorrect and I was wrongly charged for an extra day. If I had received some sort of paperwork at the return I could have addressed the mistake at that time. I had to call customer service and get this issue corrected. Customer service agent was excellent and the overcharge was corrected. I do think that using email is convenient, but I feel there should still be some sort of information exchange in written form at the time of the transaction so there is no question or dispute later.

Jacob WMy contract said the truck had more gas and less mileage than what I received. I called the location multiple times to fix this and they wouldn’t pickup. I felt scammed, make sure to not make the same mistake and double check the contract against the vehicle gauges before leaving. Also the location is in a vape store and isn’t on Google Maps which is strange. I would personally not go back and instead go to a more reputable location.

They are extremely accommodating and should be everyone's go to for UHauls in Durham, NC. There are plenty of vehicles and equipment. The trucks are clean and the ac works fantastic in the hot & humid summer.
