Returned after business hours
Donald JFirst truck was damaged had to take a larger truck cause what I reserved was not available, charge me a different rate then what I reserved for. Return truck with same amount of gas as received yet charged me for 5 gallons. Say they will email you receipt, I guess so you can not easily challenge the extra charge. Will tell everyone I know to use other companies then u-haul.
KEVIN ADawn and David made this process so easy for me! Thank them and give them both a raise!!! Haha I thought this was going to be terrible but they're really turned my day around.
Brooke MScheduled my pick up to be in person during business hours. Arrived at location to it being closed (sign on building indicated it should be open but no staff were there) called the location, never got a call back at all. Ended up having to call the U-Haul 800 number to get my rental as no employees showed up. Would NEVER recommend using.

TIM DCustomer service worker claimed it was clean. When I got in the truck I immediately noticed food crumbs everywhere. I thought nothing of it. I returned the vehicle without eating anything in the truck and got charged $25 for cleaning. I feel like I got scammed

Shawntai HI never post bad reviews but as a young woman picking up a large box truck for the first time in her life I felt like this experience needed to be shared. When I picked up the box truck the door and ramp were not latched, this is something anyone would assume should be double checked when the truck comes in and before it goes back out. This resulted in the door starting to rise and the ramp coming almost all the way out on a busy road. I called the store immediately and was never called back by the manager or anything. Just charged the full bill. I had a wonderful experience with the new worker when I picked up the truck though and when I called to let her know what had happened. Not happy I wasn’t called by a manager regarding this incident.
Emma BThe place smelled like weed and the guy just kept talking about needing coffee. It wasn’t explained that this was a flat rate. I returned the truck early and drove less miles thinking I would get a refund only to find out that’s not the case. I’m not happy at all!

Timothy SThe location is just convenience for me. The equipment was clean however they don't to the level of cleaning that the folks at the Depew Transit Road Uhaul staff does. There was dirt on the floor on the driver side. The timing is something that the customer has to work with in this location.

EDWARD SI liked the employees, They were very friendly and helpful. But the truck was not ready when I got there. The hand truck was not available at the location I picked it up from. I had to go to another location to get the had truck. The Truck smelled so bad with Cigarette smoke I got a head ache. I had to purchase a charcoal filter, Smoke bomb, and a car air purifier and Backing soda to get the smell out. Rich Edwards Auctioneer /Realtor
RICH EThe customer service was quite good, and the location was convenient and accessible. That said, the van itself had a malfunctioning tire pressure gauge and, apparently unrelatedly, a screw in the rear right tire. Presumably, a more thorough pre-rental inspection would have caught both issues. Otherwise, a satisfactory rental experience.
John HBad service , Bad solid employee , no smile , no explanation about anything, long waiting time when i returned the vehicle over 1 hour and half and when i called i was told employee on lunch , I hated U-haul very much today.
AHMED SWas told to bring the truck back with gas between 1/8 and 1/4 of a tank which it was at when it left the parking lot. The truck was driven a total of 2 miles which is indicated on the receipt, the gas meter didn’t move from the 2 miles it was driven, yet I was charged $12 for gas. Apparently this truck uses a gallon per mile at $6/gallon and the people working in the office must use a magnifying glass to measure where the needle is pointing when returned. Over charged and will tell my friends to go to Home Depot next time.
Tiffany DPlease be very aware on the insurance Safeguard. The location will add additional days to your rental to gain the safeguard fees.
Paul GI was told I could return the trailer to any location. Had to call customer service and spoke with Joelle at the site. Was told I would have to pay an extra fee. Called customer service and was told there would be no fee. Took a picture of trailer and date I dropped it off and it was Monday. Now see a bill saying I returned it on Friday! Very unhappy will call customer service and will write a google review also!
michael wMy experience at pick & return was so excellent I have only one recommendation. If it isn't policy yet, have your representative give a brief explanation of what one might experience. For example, I rented a trailer & though I've towed before, it's been a while since my last tow. Briefly describing possible movement or sounds one might experience, could be helpful. Your associate was helpful & efficient.

Garrett HRepresentative at the desk messed up the reservation and the drop off location had to call U-Haul to correct it. Then, I said NO insurance on the original agreement and the representative confirmed in store that I still didn’t want insurance but still added it against my wishes. I am waiting for a member of management to call me, as I chatted with U-Haul to complain.

Jonathan KBe open during advertised open hours. We had to wait 15 minutes for someone to open the door when we up our rental. The door was locked again when I returned the rental 15 minutes before posted closing time. Otherwise, the person at the counter was very patient and flexible when I had made a scheduling error.

Bill RThe man who took my reservation over the phone could not remember taking the information ... claimed I did reservation online ... I did NOT!!! When picking up the UHaul he said he didn’t have any reservations that day ... once he looked on the computer he realized he DID IN FACT have a reservation ... never told me there was damage on the exterior of vehicle ... I reported it to him prior to leaving premises ... in my opinion this man was not a good representative for UHaul!
carolyn SYour franchise was awful. They did not check-in the vehicle which resulted in numerous calls to straighten out. I went to the location during posted office hours on two separate days and the door was locked. Fortunately, your regional traffic facility, was exceedingly helpful
GEORGE SUpon return the office was closed for lunch. I had to leave outside and didn’t settle the bill. When I checked the electronic bill later that day it was 14 bucks higher due to a insurance rate I didn’t agree too nor was it discussed at time of rental. I called to have removed from bill and am waiting for my credit
