Customer service there is none. Hours of operation should be more convenient for customers like opening at 8 or 9 Not at 11am. Very disappointed.

Radio did not work
JOHN JIt was a very up and down experience, first off my pickup time was changed from 2pm to 3:30 without warning, then i had to pick up dolly from a different location which i was charged to travel to. but the workers at Land of Spices were amazing, and truly went above and beyond
Hunter MI drive a 1985 chevy Cheyenne truck (it is in immaculate condition) and the computer system at the rental site would not recognize it so they were not going to rent me the trailer I needed. I returned home and got my wife's car and it was fine on the system . Also it would be great if one could understand the language they were speaking because it definitely wasn't English! It was days before I received an invoice so I was not sure what they were really going to charge me, probably because I do not have a cell phone. The price was very reasonable but the paper work took forever. The people were friendly and as helpful as they could be and everything worked out.
JOHN DI needed a 6x12 enclosed trailer last minute and called the dealership. The staff was quick to accommodate and I booked what I needed. Very satisfied and the price was excellent. I have considered buying my own trailer in the past but the price is so reasonable I will only rent from U-HAUL. Thank you!
DENNIS DThe pickup and return of the uhaul were fine, but the truck itself was disgusting inside. Seats, console and cup holders were all full of dirt and were sticky and the floors were full of dirt. I mentioned it to the guy and he just laughed at me? Do they not clean the trucks when they are returned?
MICHAEL VWe have rented a u-haul many times. This was the least pleasant experience we have ever had. The parking lot size is inadequate for you to turn around your personal vehicle let along a big moving truck Most importantly- we were provided with a very dirty and smelly truck. We believe someone moved a horse in the back as it had hay and mud all inside. We physically had to take a broom and mop to the back of the truck prior to being able to put our stuff into it. The smell was atrocious and smelt like cow manure in the back and heavy cigarette smoke in the driving cabin. We spoke to the representative at the uhaul pick up place about the smell and they said the previous person was charged 50$ of a cleaning fee.. and they didn’t have time to clean it prior to us picking it up. We asked if we could have a rebate on our rental given we are the ones that had to do the cleaning for them and they declined. Said we had to chat with uhaul directly.

SUBASH KRented a 4x8 trailer for a furniture move. The trailer was clean, inside and out. There were no mechanical or electrical issues at time of pickup or throughout our period of use. We will definitely rent again from U-Haul and this location if we have any need to.
GREGORY PThe location was fine, no issue with that. Uhaul itself was the problem. I do not recommend, more specifically do not recommend using the app or online to book, especially after hours. It was problem after problem, when it could have been so simple. They even accused me of fraud after trying to book on the app (something to do with them not believing my driver's license photo was same person in the selfie...which both WERE ME).

GORDON CThe truck had garbage inside of it. One recipt I found was from February. The truck also had less gas then what was said. But the biggest issue is when I brought it back I was charged for all the km that where used even tho I pre paid for 250 of them. No one seams to be able to figure out why. The recipt brake downs are the worst. Hopefully a manager calles be back tomorrow.

DAVID FIf you're not very good at backing up a trailer, this location may be difficult for you. There's a lot of customer traffic, and they don't notice that you're trying to back up or anything. I literally had someone park behind me while I was backing up! Staff were very friendly and I had a good experience with them.

DAVID GThe coupler on the trailer was frozen, the attendant was not helpful and had no knowledge of how to couple the trailer. After over an hour of trying to get it to work I told him I no longer wanted it. I located a different trailer at the same location with an easier coupling system that worked however it was much smaller than what I wanted. Notice I said “l”...the attendant was basically useless. The smaller trailer should have had a safety pin to ensure the coupler remained locked, it did not and of course the attendant had no clue. I purchased my own locking pin at a nearby hardware store. Overall, a horrible customer experience. You should have knowledgeable people with good communication skills working for you. The trailers should be maintained. I asked him several times to shovel off the roof of the trailer ( there was a foot of snow on the roof). I ended up having to got do it myself…….total clown show

EMMANUEL KBooked a moving truck for 10:00. Was contacted by U-haul and asked to pick up for 11:00, no problem. Arrived a bit before, there were some people already there for their pickups. It was the first of the month so I expected it to be busy since that's when people move. There was only one person working on I'm guessing their busiest day. He gave customers trucks that were blocked in by other trucks, a truck with a broken transmission, he couldn't find the keys for another truck in the yard and everything was snowed in. So it took an hour and 15 minutes to finally get my vehicle. Cool things happen and I just wanted to get the moving truck and start moving while there was daylight lol. The vehicle was so filthy we had to clean it out before any moving started, another 20 minutes of daylight. I rented the truck for 4 hours and was told by the U-haul representative that I had the truck till 4:00. At 2 hours into my rental time I received a call from said representative asking me when I would have the truck back. He told me that someone would be waiting for the truck at 3:00. I reminded him that I didn't get the truck until 12:15 and that 4 hours from then was 4:15, simple math. He must have been stressed because he hung up on me. O well you do you buddy. I have used U-haul many times and was always a good experience. I will use again just not from that location.

JIBI VABSOLUTELY AWFUL! They didn’t have the basic dolly only the heavy furniture one. I said I ordered the small one and it says you have it available? He said we do I could just check all the trucks if you have 30 mins. What?! Why isn’t this ready for my reservation? Oh sorry they say. I ask if they can give me the dolly for the lower price because it was their fault it wasn’t ready. They said no. I paused and said you know that’s not fair right? Needless to say the heavier dolly made it heavier overall and I ended up hurting my back. So at the end of the day I wouldn’t trust this place ever again.

Allen PThey rent it with barely any gas, rentals usually come full. Hard to understand the men working there. Had a family emergency and was 1 hr late returning it so they charged me an extra day even though it wasn’t booked by anyone else, which I’m not happy about. I have had previous good experiences however after this one, I won’t be using U-Haul again and wouldn’t recommend I feel ripped off.

Michel VThey do not meet uhauls reputation for clear service and, I'm sure, breaking their rules. Accepting cash without giving receipts. And scamming customers on mileage. Saying the kilometer rate (.79 per km) is in miles. To be clear I asked 4 times if this was accurate and correct what you told me and it is .79 per mile?..Him, yes. 4 times!. Ended up 1.27 per mile. Very misleading, mostly due to language barriers. Brutal! Never again!
Valued cThe pickup instructions online did not match what was on location. There was no key box at the front door and the business was not open when we picked up at 9am (business opened at 11am that day). We had to call for support and even they didn't know where the key was for the truck, they said there should have been a key box. So they had to contact business owner to get more information.
Lee LTruthfully worst uhaul experience I've ever had. Initially booked for 9am, was called at 9:30pm the night before to chance for 11. Staff was half hour late so was stuck waiting in the cold. Wouldn't give me straight answers about prices, truck was filthy. Didn't include equipment dolly I paid for. Pretty unhappy.

ABHISHEK HI can understand no parking for your personal vehicle while you rent. However, there is no parking for their other business customers. Always have a hard time parking returns because the spots meant for uhauls are taken by passenger vehicles. If I rent here again I will schedule a return for after hours and mobile drop.
MARIE WTrailers need a tongue jack for easier hook up very heavy tongue weight. Hard on your back

JOHN Wfuel tank was not full before I got it, to finish up the rental, we were to refuel the tank. Now even though the tank was now completely full, we were not offered a refund or anything. YOUR TANK WAS NOT FULL

EVANS ACould not get the cargo van we wanted for months. Uhaul screwed us over when we couldn’t get a truck to move back to Ontario so we had to put all of our stuff in a storage unit and it ended up costing us thousands of dollars because there was no uhaul available to go pick up our stuff. Terrible company. Unreliable. When we finally got the truck we arrived and had to wait while they had some kind of ceremony inside the store.

I just booked a 10 ft truck for three hours ( 5:30pm to 8:30 pm) and i returned the truck before 8:30 pm.. they charged me coverage $16 ( i don’t know what the ) renal rate and rental charge each $19.95. And a terrible $75 as final charge.. i am completely disappointed
Cyril KOnly rented an open trailer for a part day but on-line booking was easy, email confirmation received, item was available as scheduled, rental process was simple, location convenient, and service was good at both pick up and drop off.
KEITH C- i phoned for information, they were going to phone me back, never did. - My reservation was for a 9 AM pick-up, they do not open until 11AM. With help from Mr. Berringer, I was able to pick up Friday evening, which I was very greatly for. - The Indian music was so loud, I couldn't hear the man, who was difficult to understand in the first place. - the parking lot is do small, it's difficult to maneuver vehicles in. - I was supposed to take a car dolly from Tunder Bay to Hermantown. Once we loaded the truck we drove down to get the trailer. The man had no idea what we were doing. He wanted to know what we were hauling... I said nothing, that confused him more... needless to say we left without the trailer! A wasted trip 2 ways on my dime! - I was renting the truck, my brother in law was driving it. It shows he was renting it, not me! The agent asked 4 times for his drivers license and phone number. Not sure what the issue was. - I asked for a receipt, he said it was emailed. I received nothing to confirm, my rental or payment. - I thought, the payment was more, than quoted... All and all it was a horrible experience! I had phoned your office, sat on hold 20 min. When the call was picked up, the agent on the phone, asked where I was calling from... Canada, he put me back on hold, he couldn't or wouldn't deal with it and put me on hold again. My total experience was a nightmare! -
Art RAbsolutely horrible location to fit those uhuals uhual i had breaks barely worked was like grinding mental when I breaked did not feel safe to use it on the hwy. Had no window wash and gas was 1/4 a tank they should always be full when someone takes over it.

Scott DThe battery was having problem and me and my whole family had to suffered in cold while moving our stuff where i was not informed about any battery issues… so its obvious to have inspection to be done on time with equipment to avoid such inconvenience to the customers and even though i wasted my time energy and had to face trouble I had to pay in full so i request reimbursement should be given based on Uhaul’s failt not mine
JAYDEEP SU-Haul kept changing my pick up location putting me further and further away from my destination costing me more in kilometres and gas. This should not be put on the customers. I chose the location so I didn’t have to fork out so much money. Moving is expensive as it is without having to pay for extra kms and gas. I called to complain and was on hold for over 40 mins being transferred back n forth to locations not where I was calling from. The vehicle I wanted wasn’t even at the destination that was chose for me they had to give me a bigger truck for the same price. The truck was not swept inside when I got it anc I was given popr information regarding putting gas in the vehicle or not. The mileage also did not line up. Said I travelled over 1000 miles. I went only 80 kms. Would have been less had I picked up from where I wanted. Not impressed this cost me a lot of money.
