Rip-Off I was charged $52 extra for gas and I only drove 5.5 miles! I will never rent from this U-Haul location again. Read their reviews They are crooks and will over bill you anyway they can.

The location front door was locked even though it was open hours. The mobile checkin experience was terrible, took literally 10 times longer than being at a counter. I had the search for the truck and couldn’t find the keys. Tried the back door to the location which was open even though the front door was locked. They key was behind the counter, not where the app said, which was really confusing anyway. The truck check engine light was on.....overall not a good experience.

I was told by customer service I could drop off trailer here. The location was open but could find no employee to help me. I did as I was told by the Uhaul agent and 30 minutes later received a phone call from Lantana Self Storage that they didn’t accept trailers and I needed to return ASAP and remove trailer from their property. There was no way I could. So I called Uhaul customer service and they said they would handle it. Last night I got an email stating I was charged a $15.00 cleaning fee. The trailer was in immaculate condition when I dropped it off. So obviously the employee at Lantana Self Storage was angry and to get back at me, he charged a cleaning fee. If this is the treatment I receive from Uhaul or it’s affiliates then I will take my business elsewhere in the future. Completely unprofessional. Brock Beall

Truck was dirty inside and outside Had some scrapes and dents, but not bad Did mobile app, but they did not have the key inside the blackbox although I could open, I had to go in and talk to the guy at the desk who just got there fairly decent. I think you should have unlimited mileage though

Although the location itself was not bad, the "Mechanical" condition of the truck was less than acceptable. Once the truck was at 60 mph it rattled uncontrollably, sign of the need to balance the front tires and when turning you could hear a definite problem, most likely a damaged CV Joint, in addition a tire alignment would also be in order, as the truck swayed making driving it an absolute horror.

The truck ran very rough and was dirty. Not like the last customer didn't clean up after themselves, dirty like the truck seemed not well maintained by like it has never had a thorough cleaning

the boys who were attending were badly arranged, I also had a very bad experience as far as the collection of the miles, they could charge 18 miles more and with the excuse that they are correct and I have the photos that are wrong

I was fortunate to get a truck large enough for my items but I’m disappointed that I was charged for equipment that I never received. Dollies and carts to be exact. And upon drop off there was a 2hr debacle trying to have the costs removed from my final bill. WHICH NEVER HAPPENED. additionally there was further frustrations with the drop off location being unattended whereby there was NO WAY to resolve the matter with. It was a high stress 3 hour experience just to drop off a truck. I was incredibly flabbergasted as to why your regional systems don’t or can’t adjust and correct errors that are internal and NO FAULT of your customer.

Got to this location to turn in the truck..no one there, even though signs says OPEN. Left a message on their ans machine and put keys and the contract in the dropbox. Notified 2 days latter that I return the truck late and was charged 1 extra days rental fee. NOT HAPPY

I returned my rental on Saturday evening instead of Sunday when due and was charged $57.87 for an extra day, when I call the location to inquire about the charge I was told that my card had been reimbursed for the extra day but I was charge $1.07 for and extra mile. After having been overcharged for usage to charge for one mile over was petty, I will be watching my account for the reimbursement.

I Reserved my Rental to pick up via 24/7 share. I was to use a location not open on Saturdays. I spoke with Christine at the pickup location. She informed me to download the Uhaul App which I did. She told me the pick up would be very simple. I guess she's never used the service because the pick up was not simple at all. I had to take a pictures of the front and back of my license, take a picture of myself and submit then once the agent received my request, I had to take a 2nd picture of the front and back of my license then the waiting approval took it seems 15 minutes then an agent called me all this time I am in front of a business not opened in a secluded area. Then after speaking to the agent I tried to process my payment I was given a choice to use the credit card on file or add a new card. I tried to use a new card the transaction never processed, now its 8:00 am I walked into a location now open to get assistance as soon as I walked in the store, the 24/7 app closed because it knew I was in the store. No 20 foot truck was available at this location, the location that had a truck available was a distance from my home which is why I reserved at the other location. They did not open until 9 am 2 hours after my original reservation. I need to get started early because the forecast was rain in the afternoon. Now my family was at my apartment waiting because I told everyone I was picking up the truck at 7am. When I finally arrived to pick up the truck even though it was obvious that I was upset about my experience the sales rep was trying to sell me additional services when she didn't have the appliance dolly & furniture dolly I reserved. I see today an additional 24.00+ due to the difference in mileage. This was my worse experience with Uhaul ever and I had to pay when I did everything I was told to do by your customer service reps. So unfair

I returned the truck 20 minutes before they closed at 6. Forgot the dolly I rented they refused to check me out while I ran to get it. Returned with the dolly 10 minutes before they were closing as I pulled up they ran and locked the door. I will go to a different location if I ever need to rent one again. I found that very rude!

Everything was fine except there was no ramp on the back of the truck it was a small truck however it would have been nice to know that it didn't have a ramp I did have some furniture that I had to try to hump up there without a ramp would have been nice to been told that upfront I've never had a U-Haul truck without a ramp on it other than that it was very good experience

I put yes however van i was given was not cleaned out. Papers left from lrevious customer along with sand and spilled drinks in drink holders. I cleaned myself. Everyone very nice and helpful . Will be using again in September.

We did the mobile pick up. (Get truck before locationed open) Truck assigned to us, was locked in the back of the building behind gates, had to wait 45min for someone to arrive. Once someone arrived had I two other people not happy waiting outside with me. Poor kid was getting hit from every angle... Him being so flustered forgot to give me my moving pads, called me 45min after I left telling me he left his keys for building in truck when he pulled it around for us. Just very unorganized and not a good experience at all.

My husband and I had a great experience with this Uhaul location. We have been to other locations and were not as impressed at all. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our overall experience was great. We will definitely be returning.

The first time I rented they closed and never set up the cell phone access- they ignored my calls to their “emergency line “ - I went back a second time only because they were the only location near my home - they charged me a cleaning fee because I placed the furniture blankets inside the cab - locked - so no one would steal them over night from the back !!! First I was never notified of this fee and second - the truck was spotless. I managed to get a refund from customer service . This location had more problems than I can even write here . Disorganized and no one seemed to know what they were doing . Scary !

The website would not work and thankfully there were people there to assist me. Then I had used a code for a $50 credit and it was not applied and I was charge the full amount without my credit. I would recommend this location but not U-Haul mobile pick-up

I returned this truck with three-eighths of a gas tank as the company provided to me. I went to speedy gas station and brought $13 of gasoline which was a little more of 5 gallons of gasoline which I used and the company charged me $16.50 for fuel. I kept on calling the office which no answer. I decided to go to the place where the lady told me that I had to call headquartered to get my refund.

We were charged for a dolly when we never used it. He gentleman told me the green band was popped off but it most certainly was not. The truck also smelled and would lunge when you took your foot off the break.

I need a refund. I was not told that I had to pay for the dolly. I was told it was included in my truck. I end up disconnnection the dolly even I did not have to used it. They charged me 7 dollars plus tax for it... i also was charget unfairly 28 dollars for gaz plus tax....

Used online app to check in before lantana storage was open. No key in lockbox! Had to wait 2 hours for them to open. Had to pay helpers an extra $120. Ordered 2 dollys, only 1 in truck. Ordered 2 dozen pads, only 1/2 dozen in truck. Left with 1/2 tank, returned with 1/2 tank of gas. Good luck figuring how much to put in! Charged $40 for gas! Whole experience on an already stressful day way abysmal! Do not go here..

TRUCK WITH CHANGE SPEED AT 3500 RPM. High fuel consumption, $50 to drive 122 SM. Your trucks are not for long distances, only local. Maxi 10 SM For the GAS, you don't care because you do not pay it. Why U-HAUL will buy or renew the old Truck Fleet at low gas consumption ?

When we dropped off the uhaul truck the business was closed, but the exit was blocked off by parked cars. We ended up having to leave through the do not enter sign. Not well set up or easily accessible.
