Amazing Customer service I had ever got!! The office management extremely friendly I lost my Gucci Glasses and in the truck and the manager Tammy gave me a call to inform me that she found them. My truck ran great the staff was very Professional. I WILL definitely rent from this location soon.

I own a moving company and rent from Uhaul often (normally from the branch at 1319 N Federal Hwy, Boynton Beach, FL 33435 who give us fantastic service. This morning I rented 2 26' trucks from the Lantana Self Storage location. As we check out the trucks the lady (manager) seemed disoriented and intoxicated. We left $150 cash deposits for both trucks per her request. Upon returning the 1st truck, the man told my employee that only 1 deposit of $150 was given and was obviously caught trying to steal the money. When I asked repeatedly to have him put on the phone, he refused to speak to me. I am assuming that this is because he realized that he was caught committing theft. He although we had returned the truck with the same gas and in the same condition, he refused to speak to me or close out the transaction. I have rented from all major providers for years and have never seen or heard of anything like this. I got his manager (the original woman) on the phone and she backed up that he didn't want to talk to me. When I asked if I needed to come in to settle the issue she started screaming at me and told me not to come in. I finally threatened to call the police for theft and she closed out the transaction and admitted that we had given $150 deposits on both trucks. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had and the people representing your company attempted theft and literally refused to speak to me or close out the transaction. I hope that this feedback gets to the appropriate person and that some action is taken. I will continue to use Uhaul at the original location, but I will never use the Lantana Self Storage location again and will be very vocal about what happened today. I understand that you cannot control non-employees, but you should be aware that there people at the Lantana Self Storage who are under the influence of drugs/alcohol and were caught stealing money today. Don't add a fuel charge saying it was not full when I added gas and had a receipt. Told him gauge was just below full when I took it out but close enough that I did not complain. It refilled to this same level and yet rep said he was putting it in as 15/16.

Only thing I may say that limited access to the gate that not good until 10 PM at night. I think if I have my access code I should be allowed in anytime I want which is not a big deal

When returning the truck during office hours no one was in the office and weren't for like 40 minutes. Called and no one answered and there was no bell or other way to call them.

First truck was broke, the waited and hour and a half a second location to make a cash payment . The girls couldn't figure out how to take a simple cash payment because of errors in the system. If I ran my business like this I would be out of business.

Have the place be in a safe area. The place was closed and when i dropped the truck off a car was broken into on the lot and two people said they were just robbed. Not a safe area.

Everything went well up to returning the truck, I was charged for an equipment on the truck that I did not use, and even though I pay my money at this location they would not give me a refund. I would tell friends be careful when renting, take pictures, and inspect .

I had a 10' mover and a tow dolly, but the location is not allowed to receive the dolly, so I had take the dolly 10 miles away, and return to the location to drop off the truck were I had my storage. After a couple Days on the road it just annoys you quite a bit. I better communication from uhaul would help to solve the issue. I try to call uhaul hours prior to returning the equipment and they left me hanging and hung up. Tried the chat and let me hanging, so I left the pc open and went to do some chores around the house and when came back 10 min late they said section ended bcause it was ideling for over 3 min.

Went to pick up my rental at the location I reserved it to only to find out the truck wasn't there. Said he didn't receive the order from Uhaul. I lost an hour and a half trying to track down another truck. Very stressful experience. Truck finally rented run, but poorly, needs a tuneup. But we got it done, which is all that really matters.

The time it took to return the truck was rather long (more than 20 minutes) even though I was the only customer. Also, for a 15' truck it was a ridiculous guzzler, I had to put in 4 gallons and I only drove it 11 miles, with no idling.

I was given an appointment from u-haul reservation center to pick up my u-haul truck on Saturday morning at 7 am and return it by 4 pm for a one day charge, plus mileage. I accepted that and booked my truck. On Friday I get a call that the store didn't open until 9 am. I had paused movers to come at 7:30 am, so I was told I could pick up the truck on Friday. When I picked up the truck at 2:30pm I was told I had to have it back by 2:30 on Saturday, not 4 pm, or I would be and WAS charged for a second day because I had the truck until 4 pm like I was originally planed. What made me unhappy was I was promises one thing and due not being able to get the truck as planned I OCCURED EXTRA EXPENCE that I should not have had.

We tried to rent a truck from another location and it wasn't available at the stated time. Had to run around and find a truck, not the size we originally wanted, at another location. This put us very much behind on loading and prevented us from having pre-arranged help on the other end. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS SERVICE.

The power steering was not working properly it made for poor handling. The drop off point was 20 miles out of the way 810670 is the number of the situation report we filed with u haul

I would not move with Uhaul again if it was the last moving truck company on Earth! My experience of the manager of the uhaul agency was rude, unprofessional, and insensitive. My experience of the customer service agents I spoke w except for one was the same. I rented a truck and within a few hours had to return it without using it as my move in date was changed last minute. I deserve a refund! You cheapskates have forever lost my business and my respect!

My issue is with corporate, when they promised me a call back within an hour after I made the reservation. Had they done that, I would not have had to call customer service and complain that the van I wanted was located out of my way. I had no time to get there, as it was farther away and in the opposite direction from which I needed to go. Fortunately I finally got to speak with someone who could get me a bigger truck at the same rate, and since it was very close, the mileage charge was not very much. In the end they did the right thing, but it took a little extra affort and phone calling to get some satisfaction. The truck worked perfectly and I got my job done within my time frame.

I made a reservation on line for this location for a 17ft truck and for 2 bags of pads and for 2 4 wheel furniture dollies and 1 appliance dollie. they did not have the 4 wheel dollies and they had me go to the Boynton Beach location which added 5 miles to my mileage and I only used 1 bag of furniture and returned 1 unopened bag with the other pads folded as they told me it was my responsibility to do so. they would not give me less miles nor give me credit for the unopened/unused bag of pads. Very Poor customer Service. And when I got to Boynton to get my 2 - 4 wheel dollies I had to wait in line behind approx. 4 customers for over 35 minutes(no fault to Boynton) but my so called Mgr at Lantana should have given something for my inconvenience,besides the excuse that they are not a regular U-Haul. After using U-Haul for over 40 years. I will look else where for this type of service.

The storage unit exit at this location requires a sharp turn to pass through the gate, but the way is severely narrowed by a tractor-trailer permanently parked along the wall inside the compound across from the gate making it impossible to swing and corner a 20' truck through the exit gate. It was necessary to exit through the main entrance several times (which would have been impossible without assistance from my spouse punching in the code from the other side of the gate and watching for oncoming traffic through the entrance gate as I was exiting to prevent a collision with incoming traffic). I reported this safety concern to an employee and he simply shrugged and said that it was a common problem at this location. Upon attempting to access my storage unit today, I found it to be completely blocked by another person's belongings. I am hoping to be able to access my storage unit tomorrow. The employees have very thick accents making it difficult to understand their English, and they do not seem to know the area at all though they have all demonstrated a very friendly attitude.
