Kind of a rude staff on arrival. They got better as we went. Truck back door had a padlock on it which we thankfully noticed before taking off and once we opened it, was very dirty inside, obviously hadn’t been swept out.

Joseph DOur pick up location got moved on us and we had to drive 20 extra minutes to a new location. Android phones would not find location for pick up. We tried 3 different phones. Luckily a nice woman also picking up let me use her iPhone to complete my pick up. It was so slow... Took at least 20 min for each of us. Also, no cruise control in the uhaul??

ROGER WHave the gas tank full when you pick it and you fill it back up when done How you know how much gas you are going to use I have used 2 UHauls and both time I had more gas left in them and no credit for it

Bruce NWas too exhausted to explain the issues with the truck and the process of picking up the truck when I checked the truck in, so I'll do it now.. the truck needs an alignment. It was hard to keep the truck steady and at a consistent pace. The brakes weren't horrible but definitely need to be looked at soon as braking was definitely more difficult than other trucks I've driven... When checking in the signal on my phone wasn't great which made self check in difficult. Then the app was having issues. I called an 800 number for help and the dude sent me to another dept, but should have known that I didn't need a passport to check in just needed one of the forms of ID.. like I feel he should have been more educated. Also there wasn't anyone there at the location to help if there were issues and I feel like that's just bad business especially if there's known issues with the app (according to the chat person I was trying to get help from). It took almost an hour to get the truck reservation checked in! So that put me behind schedule for meeting up with my moving party. On top of the stress of moving, I had a lot of additional unnecessary stress by renting this particular vehicle. I think it could have gone smoother.

Thomas SLocation was good. But the online pick up process needs to be much more user friendly. It took up an HOUR to pick up our truck because of how slow the app was.
Jenna DMy drop off location was Rose street in La Crosse. The employees were rude and disrespectful. They were not helpful and kept threatening me with charging a drop off fee. I ended up going to Lappins and the service there was amazing. I recommend Lappins, but avoid UHaul on Rose Street!

TAMMY BFuel efficiency was less than 8mpg, awfully low for an almost empty load. I liked the dolly and bags set up inside.
CHRIS CYour website says this trailer uses EITHER a 1-7/8" or 2" trailer ball. I've always used a 1-7/8" ball for trailers at another uhaul location. At this location I was told ONLY a 2" ball will work or trailer will come loose. It took me an additional hour running around town and $37 to find a new trailer hitch (current one had permanently attached 1-7/8" ball) and 2" ball. So who's wrong? Your website saying either 1-7/8" or 2" ball will work? Today's location saying only 2" ball is acceptable? Or other location that didn't warn me that the 1-7/8" ball I have is incredibly dangerous and unacceptable for use with your trailers?

MAURICE VThey were closed. I was a little concerned about leaving the trailer outside the fence as instructed. I was able to Lift trailer off my hitch without any problems. Location was close and convenient to my destination. Level plowed area. Appreciated.
ANDY TI was very upset that the hitch coupler came off the ball when I attempted to pull the car up onto the trailer! The tongue nearly hit someone when it flew up and hopefully the safety chains did no damage my Suburban. The local dealer said it was due to a broken part on the trailer. I managed to find a pin to put in it and make it home but did not feel safe. Id like a refund and an apology

Nicholas WThis truck had 63,000 miles on it. The steering and alignment were horrible. It was hard to keep driving straight. The suspension was horrible. For many highway miles, I was jolted up and down severely. Even worse in the city. The jolting caused damage to our belongings. The brakes were quite worn out. I had to practically stand on the brakes to stop from hitting someone. The transmission was horrible. Jolted from one gear to the next, stayed in low gear even at highway speeds. To top things off, I was charged an additional $9.28 for excess mileage. Impossible, because I drove directly from the start to the stated destination with no detours. How is it possible? Other than that, the price was excellent for a one-way rental.
Brian SThe letter combo box was hard to find. No where on the phone instructions did it say the keys would be locked in the back of the truck. I was looking around the front of the building for the letter lock box. Took me like 15 min to figure out the letter lock was on the back of the rental truck door.
Kevin KEverything was great except for the process of picking up and dropping off in the U-Haul system. When I picked up the lady had to wait forever for the system to respond. Same thing on my return. It’s very convenient to be able to drop off and self check in but it’s ridiculous that I spent at least 10 minutes waiting on the app because each step was so slow.
Michael HWe had to come here twice. Once to get the tires filled AGAIN and then once at the end for drop off. Both times extremely helpful and kind. We had trouble returning it on the app, as we couldn't get a picture of the odometer/dash because to the tire warning signs. He was very helpful.

Joseph PAs soon as I put the vehicle in gear, I realized that something was wrong with it. I called the employee right over and told him it wasn't running properly. He assured me it was fine. I drove it home and loaded it up early the next morning. Before I was even a mile away from my apartment, it broke down. I waited two hours for a tow truck and was told no other Uhauls were available anywhere near me. The tow truck towed the Uhaul to the storage unit where I was putting my belongings, but because no other truck was available I wasn't able to make a second trip to get the other half of my belongings. I ended up hiring two guys with a pickup truck on the Next Door app and they made a couple of trips. I paid them $200. The man at the Uhaul site assured me that he would contact Uhaul about a refund. But I was emailed a receipt for the full amount. I called customer service and someone emailed me that they would give me a $30 gift certificate! That is completely unacceptable for a truck that broke down and that a replacement truck wasn't available., so I had to make expensive alternative arrangements. You can improve by making this right and refunding the amount paid for a Uhaul for 23 hours to make a COMPLETE move.
MEGHAN MWe were unable to rent a trailer in person and had to do so online. Which was rather a pain on my phone with terrible internet service in their building. Otherwise, the employees were top notch! Would highly recommend this location and workers!
